Really good restaurant. Exceeded our expectations. We had afternoon tea but the menu was really good. Cocktails all tasted so good and the afternoon tea was really good value for money

Didn’t book afternoon tea but asked one of the staff and they sorted it for me and my mum, very friendly staff , just lovely.x

First time coming here and will definitely be returning. Cannot fault the food or service!

The Sunday lunch was excellent with a good choice of meats and the vegetables were excellent. The sweets were very good too and the service was very prompt and efficient.

The sandwich was poor. Came on slices bread that was from a pack, with the tiniest bit of ham. Not worth the money at all. Very overpriced for the price.

Excellent quality food really good price, amazing service would certainly be back. Fantastic size meal, starters were huge only small downside is not much pudding choice.

Excellent customer service fast and attentive. Had a lovely meal and would defiantly return on another occassion. Been to browns many times and always enjoy the atmosphere.

The food was very good and well presented. We were welcomed in a friendly way and service throughout was excellent. The bar area was lively and generally a good ambience.

Fabulous sunday lunch, couldnt fault it, very plentiful, good quality, lots of choice and very tasty. Pudding gorgeous, will definitely to back again in the future

Never been on a Sunday before but actually extremely loved it. The chicken we had was amazing.

Excellent service, excellent food and a lovely atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this to anyone else as it is a lovely place to spend an evening.

There was an issue with the alarm when we arrived. This was very noisy and the fire door was open so it was very cold. However we were offered 20% off the final bill and the staff were very apologetic and attentive. We will defo be back.

Fantastic food and atmosphere, wasn't so sure about the DJ later on, as it wasnt very fitting for the restaurant environment. Table service was good albeit a little casual in approach. We had a fantastic night though, and will definitely be going back.

Recently moved to the area and went for dinner on the recommendation of a few friends, it was a lovely atmosphere and felt very much like we were in town :) Similar concept to the curious manor in Nottingham. Good value and service. Will go again for sure!

Browns is a gorgeous venue however in the evening it is full of loud people not a place to enjoy a romantic meal but the food and staff are fantastic would definitely recommend a lunch date there

Excellent food with a good choice on the menu, good selection of draught lager, not many ales on draught though. Service very good with helpful and friendly staff. Would recommend.

Both food , staff and service were excellent. Visited with my husband and had a 2 course meal. All good was absolutely delicious. Very quirky place we will be defiantly visiting again

Lovely restaurant, nice food and service. We came for the afternoon and there was a nice selection of cakes and sandwich's. We were on a slightly cramped table to say it wasn't busy, my pregnant friends struggled to get in and out. Aside from that will definitely return as the other foods that were coming out to looked lovely and smelled delicious

Delicious food and drinks, staff are friendly and really helpful. Can't recommend the hanging kebabs enough always beautifully cooked. The offers are always a draw to browns too

Food was lovely but service was extremely slow. 4 club sandwiches and a salad took over an hour to arrive. Very friendly but not suitable unless you have plenty of time on your hands.

Booked a table through Quandoo. Not busy when we arrived. Asked if we could choose where we sat and we were led to the back of the restaurant, where it was dark and gloomy?! Brunch was lovely though.

It has a Good atmosphere both in the restaurant and bar area, great food which was quick to arrive and brilliant staff who are friendly and very accommodating. Highly recommended!

Had a lovely Mother's Day dinner. Food was cooked well and came quickly. Was piping hot aswell. All the staff on duty were lovely and efficient and very friendly.

Really enjoyed the atmosphere, food was lovely and a good variety of dishes. Cocktails, what we tried, were lovely but seemed expensive for the size we were given. However, really enjoyed the evening and would recommend.

Food was nice. Although we felt rushed from start to finish by the staff which we wasn't happy about as this was our first time and I was out treating my mum. Was lovely little restaurant however we was told when we got there you had to book for afternoon tea, it didn't state this on Internet.

Food was lovely and well priced. Staff were great, we had a high chair and because baby is a little small they brought a couple of small cushions with to help him sit more easily. Little things like that, for me, make the whole experience even better! Will definitely be going again!
