Starter was really nice , main course was ok but no were near as good as our previous visit just a basic Sunday roast it used to be posh Sunday roast with nice little twists

The food and experience were fantastic, made all the better by Jess who was a wonderful hostess......we shall be back and are also planning visiting the Nottingham branches too!

Had a lovely meal here yesterday, the cocktails are a must :) a lovely little restaurant. Would recommend . Just not much parking available so arrive early if u have a booking

Very noisy atmosphere which was obviously not the fault of the restaurant. Food was just ok nothing wrong but nothing special either. Would go again but for early bird offers

Staff were lovely and general atmosphere good. Food was nice, just enough for me but friend said could have been more. Only thing that let it down was it was freezing where we sat. After meals we didnt stay long due to it being so cold

Very very small portion desserts although were lovely. Lovely cocktails, paid for birthday decorations and they made the table look very nice. Music made the atmosphere.

Great food and brilliant service!! 2 4 1 cocktails made it even better! Fantastic atmosphere, would definitely go back for another meal or just drinks.

We waited over an hour for our food to arrive, after we asked what was going on we were told they were very busy, of course they were its Sunday lunchtime, didn't they know how many people they had booked in ? To be fair the manager was very apologetic and knocked 50% off the bill, but it was very poor service. The food was okay, not as hot as it should have been but after waiting so long we just ate it & didn't hang around for desert. There was a party of very loud women, cackling and shrieking which was very intrusive. There was a party with small children, the adults allowed the children to run around ... I think this is unacceptable, its a restaurant not a playground. Very very disappointing for what was supposed to be a nice meal with my daughter, we wont be going again.

Fantastic food, warm and friendly staff and a welcoming atmosphere. Will definitely be going back again and really envious of the people who live nearby as I would be there all the time! :-)

Welcoming, pleasant staff; warm and attractive premises and best of all, a lovely afternoon tea! Had a brief look at the other menus on offer and will definitely give them a try!

The service was really good even though it was busy and the food was very nice. Even when we said two of the cocktails weren't very nice as they were tasteless they changed them without hesitation.

This is a lovely place to meet friends and enjoy breakfast in relaxed surroundings. The service is welcoming and efficient and the food is really nice. What's not to like.

Great food. Need some fans or better ventilation as we were very hot during the meal - and that was with no-one else in the restaurant! Staff were being trained so our mocktails turned up in different containers and with differing amounts of ingredients each time! Prefer drinking out of glasses rather than jam jars and if you're going to serve them with straws, please use long instead of short straws so can reach the bottom of the jam jar - apart from that, all good!

Friendly service and tasty food. We were greeted as soon as we approached the bar and our reservation was in hand. Everything was explained to us and all our questions were very politely answered which mean't we had a lovely relaxed meal. Would return.

Good choice on early bird menu. Service quite slow, but food was nice. Disappointed afterwards however, as waiter brought dessert menu, but never returned to take order. Nor did we then see any other member of staff. We also had to go to the bar to ask for our bill, due to no staff being in sight.

Lovely sandwiches fresh tasty as much tea as you want nice gateax with lovely chocs downside not enough cream for very large scones good service

food was lovely, staff were really friendly and great. Only thing that let it down was a large party behind us so we couldnt hear a thing. Overall would reccomend

The steak quality was poor & service isn't great. Although compliant are dealt with fairly well . if you are an adult only party don't book before 8 as there are lots of young children in.

First visit to browns last week. Me and my friend went for afternoon tea for my birthday. It was lovely. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be visiting again (very soon) Fantastic :0)

The staff were very helpful and show that they enjoy their jobs which is very important. There's a lovely ambience about the place.It felt very welcoming and most importantly the food was amazing.The steak was cooked exactly as I asked for it. I had a gorgeous prawn and feta starter and the new potatoes were cooked perfectly and we're so tender they melted in my mouth. I will definitely be back there soon.

Thought this was a Groupon offer I believe that the menue was a little limited on choice, mostly fish based item on starters list and the soup which was mushroom is not a wildly liked flavour for everyone. Pizzas though nice again was made up of a lot of unusual items that left nothing for people who are less adventurous(like my partner)other than that the service was great and the manager who very welcoming and polite( the waitress how ever needs to learn how to walk as the constant feet shovelling was very irritating why eating)

Wasnt told that the menu was limited to only pizza when we booked. They did serve us full menu after we complained this was for my daughter's 17th birthday I was a little disappointed we wasn't told about the menu before or when we booked we had never been before .

Food lovely but second drinks didn't arrive until after we had finished eating - so took about half an hour. Lovely atmosphere and staff great

This is a hidden gem, I have lived in the area for 8 years and didn't know it was there! We had visitors from an Eastern European office and wanted somewhere different for myself and work colleagues to entertain. I enjoyed the atmosphere, the service was excellent, the food outstanding, it was superb. Friendly staff from the minute you walk in the moment you leave, everyone was super nice. I am returning the first weekend in June, I hope it will be equally enjoyable.

Been here before with my other half and the food was amazing! Very well presented fresh. The staff was lovely and we even got some free popcorn😂 overall the experience was bloody amazing. Booked again for this Friday
