On Crane Street, it’s only a small and rather simple restaurant but the warmth of the service and the quality of the food means it really doesn’t have to be anything else. It’s just one of those places where the vibe is right and you can tell the food has been thought about, from the sourcing of ingredients right through to the way each dish is presented. Whether the kids’ menu, the lunch menu, the dinner or the Sunday brunch menu, there’ll be options at Cafe Diwali Salisbury that you haven’t tried before. That’s not to say you’ll be overwhelmed with choice, indeed the menu at Cafe Diwali is quite the opposite and it goes for quality rather than quantity. But the Indian street food available here differs from what you’re likely used to at most UK Indian restaurants. Which we think is great. Hence, from the Cafe Diwali dinner menu we’d recommend the Goan whole sea bass, the tamatar lamb and the Malwani chicken curry. All are superb so get involved as soon as possible.
