Cafe Lilli

This restaurant was a great discovery. A relaxed bistro style eatery with superb food and friendly service. The chef/owner offers a Mediterranean influenced menu with combinations that make the simplest of dishes an exotic experience. Equal to the best food I have experienced in some very expensive places, you will not be disappointed with any aspect of the dining experience. Good food good service good value for money a superb place for a casual dining experience with an upmarket feel. My dining companion was absolutely thrilled with the overall experience and so was I Highly recommended!

Lovely ambience, friendly attentive staff, food delicious but main portions on small side, needed to order side dishes. However overall a positive experience and will defo be back! Thank you!

First midweek visit to Cafe Lilli and an early booking, 6pm. Had the mushroom and pea risotto which was very good followed by strawberry cheesecake, delicious! Staff as always attentive but not overbearing. Lovely atmosphere. Look forward to next visit.

Excellent service and food combined. The place has a very relaxed, informal atmosphere and is not one bit stuffy which is the norm for a restaurant of this standard.

Great venue for lunch, food is great. The atmosphere is good but it can be a be a little noisy when the restaurant is full, making conversation difficult.

We went for my 30th birthday and it was superb. Amazing food, amazing service!! I would recommend cafe Lillie to anybody. We had the 3 course with wine, brilliant value for money.

Wonderful food as always but I find the service too slow. Tonight the staff were, sadly inattentive with one more interested in another customer’s phone.

Cocktail of the week great, atmosphere great, food a bit disappointing usually great but not up to scratch. will go again as feel it was just a one off.

Made a last minute booking for Friday evening just got a table as the restaurant is very popular . A couple of times a year they have a lobster night on the specials so had to give it a go ,not cheap but absolutely delicious ,wood pigeon starter also very good. The only small criticism is that all of the deserts (apart from ice cream) have have something with gluten in, having said that on the couple of occasions I've asked they have adapted something to suit.

We had wine paired meal, good choices, very good wine and serving staff lovely... thoroughly enjoyed and would recommend to all. Booked ahead through quandoo worked very well

Excellent food as usual. Fresh ingredients. Fresh baked bread. Varied menu. Good service. Prices are very reasonable especially the early evening menu. considering the high standard. Highly recommended.

The food was excellent and the staff helpful and friendly. Lovely atmosphere at lunchtime. We've been several times now and have never found fault. We will be returning shortly.

This is a restaurant that me and my partner visit often, unfortunately this time wasn’t up to their usual standard. My partners starter was missing 3 of the food items that were on the menu, including the main part of the dish. My main course came and was missing a food item as well, and the desert was not what was described. We ordered a brownie and ended up with what could only be described as an incredibly dry and dense sponge cake. We will be giving this place another chance as it is one of our favourite restaurants, but this visit was very disappointing.

A busy and a bit noisy Saturday night. Crab starter had a piece of shell otherwise lovely. Bean risotto taste dominated by goats cheese - left half of it. Enjoyable belly pork spoilt by lack of crispy crackling. Portion small. Sweet Date and dry brownie desserts needed more ice cream - just one small scoop provided. Service good but staff not familiar with menu. Disappointed overall.

Haven’t been for awhile and was a little bit disappointed. Not as good as previous visits. I think it is now over priced for the small portions.

Busy but the staff are very efficient and friendly. The atmosphere is pleasant with quite a good selection of meals. We would certainly go back again.

As always, the welcome was warm, the service was good but not intrusive and the food and drink were locally sourced and beautifully cooked and served.

The food was fantastic and the staff were very friendly. They kindly wrote happy birthday on my partners plate which was a nice touch. The only down side for us was the price of the house wine we got a shock when the bill came!

Good was Delicious, well thought out flavours and well presented. Good atmosphere and very attentive staff. Particularly liked that all ingredients were sourced locally with the suppliers named on the board.

Excellent quality, locally sourced food with outstanding service! I’ve been eating here since it opened and I never disappoints. We took our two children and they even accommodated their tastes with several choices

Lunchtime menu had lots of choice. As it was hot I ordered chicken and prawn salad which was gorgeous. I’m not really a salad person but would certainly have it again. Service was efficient and friendly.

First visit food was excellent and service was very good too. Staff very friendly and competent will definitely return and would recommend to others too.

Great food as always. Was a very hot night despite the back door also being open. Busy at times so initial service was a bit slower than usual but was otherwise fine later on.

The fixed menu offered a good range of dishes with paired wi es. My only disappointment was they I felt the wine with dessert were too dry and the optional dessert wine was a heavy pudding wine which I found too strong for my pallet there are light dessert wine's which would have complemented the light dessert.

Great service, great atmosphere, waiting staff attentive but not intrusive. Food ammmaaaazing and served quite quickly ❤️ Really lovely! Would go again. With a visit.
