Another visit to Cafe Lilli, again I have to bang the drum to say fantastic venue and amazing food with a good selection of wines

At first we thought the prices were eye-watering and that we should restrict ourselves to lunch in future, but after the exquisite meal we couldn't fault, who cares about the money. Yes, I know we're lucky we can afford it.

Excellent food at a reasonable price. First class service and a boss who speaks to all his customers. We had a lovely evening at Cafe Lilli celebrating our wedding anniversary.

Visited last night, service very slow, food was nice but small portions for the price, this used to be my favourite restaurant but will be looking for a replacement.

Food as wonderful as ever. Service a little slow but some would just say un-rushed.

When I come home to the north east I always make a point of visiting Cafe Lilli. The food is amazing and each time I go the menu always seems to have something new that tastes even better than it sounds! Also, the service is always fantastic and without a doubt, it's my favourite restaurant in the north-east.

Yet another delicious meal. Service excellent with happy, helpful and knowledgeable staff. I always bring my visitors here for a meal as a good evening is guaranteed.

Overpriced for such small quantity of food. Rib eye Steak, 1 mushroom, 2 1/2 asparagus tips! Came out hungry! Waiter / waitress service good though. Won’t be going back.

Great food, great staff, great place. The only downside, if there is a downside is that it only opens 1 Sunday a month, which is a shame.

Top food and service as usual . Always a great variety of dishes on both standard menus plus the specials board. the pork belly was fantastic.

Great ambiance and feel, food and drink exactly as I would expect having eaten there on several occasions but I just felt ( and my wife too) , that we couldn’t hold a conversation due to the ambient noise. Granted, everyone has a right to talk but the group next to us we bordering on shouting they were so loud. I mean, I could recall the whole conversation and feel like I was part of it. We’ll be back because it’s great and we both love it but just hope the people next to us aren’t shouters.

Thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Cafe Lilli. Excellent service and excellent food- seems to get better every time we go which hardly seems possible as already of a high standard! A gem of a restaurant on Norton High Street.

Super 3 course meal as usual but always limited vegetarian options except the usual pasta and risotto and soup. Difficult if you don’t like mushrooms.

Without question this is the best food in the area, fresh local produce imaginatively and creatively cooked,staff very helpful,the wine list is also reasonably priced

Been here lots of times to eat and drink, it's consistently good food and atmosphere, Roberto runs a tight ship with regard to customer experience, can't fault it, would be my choice first time every time for a good meal when going out.

Such a shame as most recent visit was really disappointed. Small portions. Uncooked vegetables. Then charged for 2 desserts when only had one. Food usually gorgeous. Last Friday was average 🙁

This was our first visit in a couple of years as we have now moved away from the area. Booked for 5.30pm as we had tickets for a show that evening. Quite quiet when we arrived but by the time we left at 7pm the place wa full, just as we always remember it. We had three courses. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. The highlight was the desserts. An incredible chocolate marquise, which was rich but not overly so, and the lightest lime cheesecake I have ever tasted. The early evening fixed menu looked to be excellent value for money.

Lovely meal. Great food. Portions just a little on the small side. Three courses required if you wish to be full. Been may time before and will return!

The food was great as usual but my friend had wanted a steak and there was none on the menu. The angus burger we had instead was beautiful and the chocolate marquise was delightful.

Always a pleasant place to go and eat. The food is cooked excellently and presented very well. Had a starter and main and was too full forbany more.

Great dinner as ever, our guest’s first time there and amazed we had such a good restaurant so close by. The pan fried sea bass was delicious and the Sardinian red was terrific.

Excellent quality of food. Food very tasty, served hot and cooked perfectly, full of flavour. staff very nice, really enjoyed the evening. Look forward to coming back 😄

Good atmosphere, the lunch menu was varied. I had the pasta of the day and it was delicious would definitely go back again and recommend to friends.

Absolutely beautiful meal, we were looked after and couldn't fault the food or the service. Prosecco was lovely and the staff couldn't do enough for us. X
