Beautiful food and lovely staff. We had a great evening eating tapas in this cosy setting. Would definitely go back next time we're in Liverpool :)

Great restaurant - but Quandoo hadn't passed on the reservation to them in time (at least 6 hours notice provided)! However, the proprietor happily accommodated us. Good food and atmosphere.

Lovely small restaurant and ideal for a pre-Philharmonic meal. The sardines were fantastic and the staff very friendly. There's a garden at the rear and artwork for sale.

This is quite simply the best restaurant in Liverpool. The food is cooked fresh every time, not cooked, cooled and warmed up, and the menu reflects the broad range of Portuguese cuisine. The service is warm and personal and you really feel that you are at friends enjoying wonderful food.

The intimate setting was charming, like stepping into someone's home. A friendly waiter explained the menu without any embarrassment when I confessed I wanted to know how the menus worked and the tapas dishes. In the end my friend and I decided on 3 tapas and a fish platter, all to come together to be shared between us. No problem here and the all the food was delicious. The whole meal (including dessert, wine and coffee each) came to less than £24 each. Will definitely come again and recommend to friends!
