A fantastic restaurant with super staff, great food and a lovely atmosphere. Our favourite local. We come here time and time again and are never disappointed.

A lively little restaurant with authentic Italian cuisine. We all enjoyed our meals. Good, friendly service. Would have liked to see vegan options clearly indicated.

Traditional Italian food served in a warm setting. The lasagna was on point and I look forward to going again very soon for another helping.

Truly is one of the best restaurants not only in Balham but London as a whole. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Every time I leave Caminata I have a big smile on my face.

Excellent service and high quality food. Delicious crab bruschetta and sour dough pizzas. All ingredients very fresh. Our first visit and will be returning very soon.

Fantastic food and service... excellent wine also, however they ran out of the wine that we had ordered but gave us the next wine up for the same price... top stuff!

As always - great food and service. We had to wait for our table and the waiter brought us over a couple of glasses of prosecco - a really nice gesture, they really know how to look after their guests and make them feel welcome

Caminata is awesome ! Easily the best of the restaurants in Balham. It has great food and great service, and it is very reasonably priced.

Amazing ambience as there was a lovely busy buzz of happy people. The service was great as the staff were informative, helpful and friendly. Best of all the food was super and I would return.

Is this place under new management? Menu and wine list remains similar and food was great, but slightly different atmosphere. Goats cheese croquets were great, spicier than expected but delicious

Lovely food, great staff, good wine - it was a great night out. Only criticism is that its a bit cramped / tight for space!

Food was delicious and service exceptional. Cost is reasonable, we paid around £25 a head for two courses and a glass of wine :) would recommend

We had a lovely family meal in the evening. The restaurant is pretty, the staff are pleasant and the food was delicious. Will come again.

We really love this restaurant - always a lovely atmosphere and great food - especially as they often will make the pasta option into a risotto which I really like.

I am only marking this badly because our table was cancelled that afternoon because they couldn’t fit us in. You shouldn’t let us book if the table is not available. I went to speak to caminata and they were polite and apologetic, however it did leave us in a mess on a Saturday night as it was too late to book a table somewhere then and it was for a birthday meal. I usually really like caminata.

This restaurant never fails do deliver a beautiful meal. Food, wine and atmosphere was great as per usual. My favorite place to eat in the area!

Best Italian in Balham/Clapham area! The pizza's are amazing! The service was great and it's not surprising to see this place packed every evening. Looking forward to my next visit.

Friendly and welcoming. Superb food and service. I was so impressed by that the manager introduced us to the chef. And for the fellas a waitress who is a dead ringer for Katie Holmes!

La Caminata is a fantastic restaurant. I've tried most of the pasta dishes on the menu and enjoyed them all. To top it off, the staff is super friendly and welcoming.

Great food, they do stone baked pizzas and homemade pasta. Service was very friendly. Proper rustic Italian and the wine selection was great. Recommend to go!
