Best restaurant in Balham! the staff are so lovely and the food is delicious - i would really recommend a visit and I am sure you won't be disappointed :)

We went for a birthday meal and the food was very tasty. The staff were exceptional and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere. Highly recommend.

Top notch as always. The front of house as effusive as ever, delicious food, cracking swordfish, delightful ambiance, the very best Balham has to offer for a gentle night out.

We were at Caminata on a Friday night and the atmosphere was lively and fun. We found lovely friendly and polite staff serving great food at reasonable prices.

We had a really lovely time, there’s a lovely family atmosphere. The manager was great, and joined in our fun even when we were being a bit loud...

Food good, i recommend the Burrata. Pizzas also nice. Service was pretty slow and generally not what Ive come to expect in London. Would go back though

Absolutely brilliant...great food and service! Definitely come again! Anyone in the area I would definitely recommend a visit. The Gnocchi was so tasty and the Creme Brûlée is a definite!

Excellent service, delicious food! Lovely, warm atmosphere. Always a delight to go to Caminata. The mushroom, sausage and truffle pasta is divine, as is the Tiramasu.

Great meal out on a Saturday night. Restaurant busy but staff attentive, service friendly and informative. All four of us enjoyed starters and main course and just too full for desserts. Great food excellent value

Fantastic service and atmosphere. The food is incredible, with freshly made pasta. I would also recommend the chocolate cake/fondant, homemade and I can say its the best fondant I have ever had.

Fantastic food and service. Always love it here and would return and return. Had prawns, goats cheese croquettes followed by two wonderful pasta dishes. Love it!

Went as a group of 7. Really impressed by the food and the friendly staff in general. The only downside was that after being there for 2 hours we were told we had to leave because other people were waiting. This felt a bit rushed and the way it was said was unnecessarily blunt and rude. If the sittings are two hours that’s fine but that should be made clear at the start!

Margarita pizza that my friend and I had was great but lasagna my other friend had was a little small. The service was great but the place was a bit too hot (although it was pretty hot outside that day in general).

Such great food, service - nothing is ever too much trouble. Have been back a few times now and will go back again for sure.

First time, friends get together. Cosy restaurant, liked the vibe. Food was good but nothing I would go back for. We did not have salt & pepper on the table and had to ask other diners for some. Overall an ok experience.

Great meal and good service, food was delicious - seating in one side was a little low though, so we had to move our two tallest (table for 4) to sit on the bench as it was a bit low against the table!

We had the house bruschetta and two pasta dishes. Both were excellent, as was the wine. The staff were lovely and knowledgable, and the atmosphere was great. Will return!

Lovely meal and service. Staff were very polite and friendly. The entire family enjoyed every bit if their meals from starters to main course and even the afters. The homemade strawberry flavoured ice cream was very very tasty! I would definitely recommend.

Traditional Italian food served in a warm setting. The lasagna was on point and I look forward to going again very soon for another helping.

Truly is one of the best restaurants not only in Balham but London as a whole. Excellent food, service and atmosphere. Every time I leave Caminata I have a big smile on my face.

Excellent service and high quality food. Delicious crab bruschetta and sour dough pizzas. All ingredients very fresh. Our first visit and will be returning very soon.

Fantastic food and service... excellent wine also, however they ran out of the wine that we had ordered but gave us the next wine up for the same price... top stuff!

As always - great food and service. We had to wait for our table and the waiter brought us over a couple of glasses of prosecco - a really nice gesture, they really know how to look after their guests and make them feel welcome

Caminata is awesome ! Easily the best of the restaurants in Balham. It has great food and great service, and it is very reasonably priced.

Amazing ambience as there was a lovely busy buzz of happy people. The service was great as the staff were informative, helpful and friendly. Best of all the food was super and I would return.

Is this place under new management? Menu and wine list remains similar and food was great, but slightly different atmosphere. Goats cheese croquets were great, spicier than expected but delicious

We really love this restaurant - always a lovely atmosphere and great food - especially as they often will make the pasta option into a risotto which I really like.
