We both ordered burgers - one chicken, 1 beef. My chicken burger was sitting on the serving counter for about 10 minutes & not served until the beef one was ready. The chicken burger was barely warm - both lots of fries were barely warm too. The beef burger was piping hot. Fries were replaced & I was offered a replacement chicken burger but we hadn't time to wait. Very disappointing.

Was difficult for the servers to assist in what meal I could have that was dairy free. Neither of them seemed to be really that certain. They were not that helpful until I basically had to get them to tell me what meal to have. Pasta was okay, nothing to write home about. Food came out quickly which was good.

Enjoyed the visit overall. I had lasagne but there was very little meat in it so wouldn't have that again. Pleasant staff and ambience though.

I thought the food was not good value I had chicken escalope lettuce and tomatoes thought £17 for this was way over priced the chicken was rock hard

Not as clean as it could be , a bit cold and very noisy with children screaming and loud people next to us ( appreciate that’s not your fault )

They took the order incorrectly fetched the main course before the starters left the food on the side and expected us to eat it after it being stood on the side for 15 minutes. One of the steaks was just full of fat and gristle very poor cut of meat.

We booked in advance & were offered a choice of tables, we chose the one on the edge of the restaurant but it was quite chilly so we asked to move inside which was better. We both chose the Ragu which was very nice & then shared a tiramisu which was delicious. It was great value as there was 50% off the main courses.

The food was excellent, and was served in a timely way. However, the manageress offered us still or sparkling water before we'd sat down. It was only afterwards that we realised that we'd been conned into buying a bottle of water, when tap water would have been fine.
