We visited today, the food was lovely as always and service was brilliant.

Staff looked like they didnt want to be there / couldn't be bothered Watched them clear 2 x used tables but leave the same cutlery in place. The Garlic focatta was bland and craggy (didnt taste fresh)

Had a lovely Christmas Eve breakfast with our son, service was excellent, food was delicious a tradition we will continue.

As soon as we walked in we were told no pancakes or eggs divalo! No explanation why?! Not quite sure how eggs, milk and flour wouldn’t be a staple ‘store cupboard’ item! Eggs are a large part of your menu. I get the eggs divalo perhaps as no ndjua. Shame as was something I had been looking forward to since we booked it! Staff quite rude, face pulled by staff member, as she took the glass off us, aggressively, when we had to return a milk for bits of black and hairs in it. Food was fine in the end but your staff need to have some manners!

Sad to say, I have usually enjoyed having food off the Breakfast menu. Most items include eggs. I cannot believe that I arrived at 11am today to meet a friend there. Only to be told they did not have any eggs! Although the waiter was very apologetic, explaining Carluccios did not have a delivery, I found this to be a lack of management at Christmas time, to not have a back up. Any choices without eggs were very limited. I saw the toast and asked for marmalade. No marmalade! I eventually enjoyed the toast and fig jam as meeting with my friend was the priority. I trust that the next time I frequent Carluccios l, there will be no shortage of eggs🙃

We both started with Bruscheta and then again we both had Chicken Milanesi. They were excellent choices as both of us enjoyed the meal. Accompanied by the Merlot red wine it was a delightful "pre Christmas lunch". We had made an advanced booking and the staff we encountered were all full of seasonal happiness. A

3 people said be with you in a minute, but all did something else. Ordered steak with fries, came with potatoes. Meal just luke warm. Last time I go there

Waitress was nice, which made up for the manager being a bit rude, I had to ask the waitress if we could order a drink, had to wait a bit too long before our order was taken, pasta was a little under cooked, I had to get up and ask to pay the bill. Just a bit underwhelming.

There were many items not available on the menu which didn't leave much choice

We expected it to be busy, but so should the management at this time of year and they should put on some extra kitchen (cook) staff and serving staff. Been waiting for the bill at the end took far too long. They could have let other people take our table if they got themselves organised better and produced the bill at the end quicker.
