Service was slow and not very welcoming. We were seated and then asked to move to accommodate a large group who had booked late. Food was OK. Our salad contained several leaves that were past their best/rotten and inedible. We pointed this out to the waitress and she did remove the item from the bill. A very mediocre experience overall.

Carluccio's is the perfect choice if dining in Stratford-upon-Avon. Yards from the RSC Theatre near the River Avon their menu offers great choice - we had a couple of starters and shared a lovely main (mixed mushroom risotto - so tasty) served quickly by the very welcoming staff as we had to get to the play. Comfortable seating not packed too close to others with relaxing lighting and great atmosphere. Good value too. We have eaten here before when going to the theatre and will do so again when we come again in May, Thank you Carluccio's!

Delicious food, with a good choice, but as important a great welcome, no trouble whilst one of our party was running late, terrific professional service, warm and social atmosphere but not jam packed.

The service and food were excellent in this restaurant. It is conveniently located for pre-theatre meals about a hundred metres, or less, from the Royal Shakespeare Company's venue. We will be visiting again!

The soup starter was delicious as were the prawns. However, the mains was disappointing: the pasta parcels with spinach and ricotta was generous but bland, too much pasta overall. The carbonara was very disappointing. Spaghetti swimming in raw egg. My partner was only able to manage 25% of it. I haven’t been to Carluccios for several years. Standards aren’t what they used to be. Maybe we made the wrong choices, but I’m not tempted to return.

The staff were exceptional. The lady who served our party couldn't do enough to make our dining experience much more than just a meal. We had a disabled party member, one guest came latevand we had a family dog with us that was allowed to stay with us. The staff were very helpful, flexible, kind, thoughtful and gave a service second to none. The food was delicious.

As always lovely food and an excellent place for pre RSC theatre meal but sadly VERY slow service last night. Even though we allowed ourselves plenty of time we had to skip dessert to avoid missing the start of the show.

Service was excellent and all of our group enjoyed the meal. The half price mains was unexpected but welcome. The restaurant was not as busy as we have seen on previous visits.

Not worth the money. Only two other tables so not a great atmosphere- but food was below expected level of flavour for italian food in a specialist Italian restaurant. Waitress was very nice but didnt make up for the food

pretheatre lunch for 8 including 3 children. Good choices on menu . Friendly waitress. It was busy and our food took 40 mins to arrive, children given colouring books when asked for - we made it to the theatre on time. Pancetta in carbonara was very fatty.
