This is the worst experience I have ever had in a restaurant. We arrived in plenty of time before a theatre visit. People who arrived after us were served before us, despite us pointing this out, and in the end there was only time to eat a starter and we left for the theatre. The manager was very apologetic and we did not pay for our starter and drinks but it did completely spoil a lovely evening out. Sadly my husband will not be visiting this restaurant again, which is a shame, as I've always liked going there.

We had to ask for our bread. Our meal took one hour and 20 minutes to be served. We had to ask where it was. No one came to the table to explain. Although the manager explained we had to do the asking. Not happy with the service whatever the reason. You don’t leave customers in the dark

Valentina was a credit to Carluccio’s. She hosted and was an amazing help. The food we had was cooked to perfection. I couldn’t fault the staff. It’s just a shame the owners have let what was a very popular and fun, relaxing place to eat go down hill. Having been a regular at Carluccio’s Stratford upon Avon plus other restaurants around the country it’s just such a shame that the owners have let it go down hill. Mr Carluccio must be turning in his grave 😞

Restaurant itself seems run down and not warm and welcoming, too much open space which feels odd. There were loads of empty tables that were not cleared and napkins on the floor which no one picked up, made the place look messy. I’ve been to other Carluccio’s in others towns and this is probably one of the worst.

We did not find the staff either welcoming or attentive. The gentleman was rather rude and abrupt which I did not find helpful after i had pre-booked. The whole experience was rather disappointing

Penne Gardiniere served without the crispy spinach balls, grated courgettes made sauce very watery. Waitress had to go back to kitchen to retrieve them. Toilets not monitored, all out of toilet paper and one cubicle totally insanitary and dangerous for a food establishment. Sad about this, was one of my favourites restaurants to visit prior to theatre.

Staff are friendly and considering the waterside location, prices are reasonable. You can sit outside in the summer

good service but think it is over priced. My sea bass was overcooked however we were not charged for it after I had mentioned it to the waitress.

We’re told food could not be guaranteed to be served within one hour, which seemed excessive. They clearly did not want customers that evening so we left and went to Zizzi around the corner who made a delicious meal for us incredibly quickly!

Great service, lovely staff, but my seafood tagliatelle had far too much chilli, couldn't taste anything else, and the sauce on spinach and ricotta ravioli was v watery. But we all had a fun time

Very slow service. Took our order and then came back 15 mins later to say that there was no gluten free pasta. The gluten free 'bruschetta' consisted of sliced tomatoes on ONE VERY SMALL piece of SLICED bread. Three very small aranchini cost almost £10. They then took three goes at getting our bill correct as it was too much. The waitress was pleasant but didn't have much of a clue. Would think twice before returning especially with a celiac guest.

Very good food but expensive cocktails and wines by the glass. Good service and the possibility to sit outside albeit next to a road.
