Our food was amazing and good value for money. Brilliant service with very friendly staff. Will definitely go back again to Carmela absolutely loved it.

Pleasant meal in nice surroundings. Much busier on a Monday evening than I expected. Great to have this in Horsham as an alternative to high street chains. Lots of parking nearby. Would go back.

What a lovely restaurant, the food and the service were excellent. The ambience of the place was calm and relaxing. We will definitely return and highly recommend to anyone who hasn't found this little gem of a restaurant.

Authentic Italian food, great quality. Makes a change from the usual chains. Service was very good. The food was very well cooked, I highly recommend the house special which is a seafood stew, and the tuna was also delicious. Pizzas are homemade and have a great range of toppings including swordfish.

My husband and I went for lunch at Carmela's. We received a warm welcome and were shown to our table. The restaurant is very light and airy, and the chairs are comfy. There is a lot of variety on the menu, I'm sure there would be something for everyone. The waitress was very friendly, and answered my fussy questions! I chose the Beef salad, which was steak served on a rocket salad with Parmesan, and sweet potato fries, my husband had pizza. We both really enjoyed our meals. We will return.

Great food and has always been good when we have visited before. We were well looked after but they ran out of specials by 6.30 on a Sat night.

A very good experience, friendly and helpful staff and a menu which gave plenty of choice. The food was really good, high quality and delicious.

From the time we entered the restuarent the staff where welcoming and hospitable. The food was excellent, so tasty and very well cooked and presented, couldn't fault a thing, we will be back!

Great, authentic food. Not the cheapest, but good portion sizes. Nice relaxed environment, with friendly staff. They have a great selection of pasta dishes and pizzas.

Quite disappointed on our visit to Carmela's. Service was rushed and unfriendly - don't think the lady serving us smiled once, and she hardly spoke a word to us. Food was ok, but nothing special. For the prices, I was expecting much better. Won't be going back.

The food was very good, nothing was left! The staff were very attentive. would certainly visit again and I look forward to the summer months when we could perhaps sit outside for lunch.

I have lost count the number of times we have been to Carmelas including their first ever opening. Always had excellent food and service and this time was no different. My husband had the T-bone steak, which was exceptional. I had the ragu, which was also excellent. Do not hesitate to book.

The service was great. The food wasn't. We had a pork dish and a lamb dish so 2 of the more expensive dishes. Both were poor. Chewy meat in both. Dry with not enough sauce. Luke warm. Very disappointing. Shan't return.

I had the beef carpaccio starter with Rocket and shaved parmesan,, followed by the grilled lamb shoulder marinated in garlic and rosemary, with butternut squash and Moroccan herb couscous. which was excellent. The desserts were average, would have preferred to see exceptional traditional desserts. The ambience and atmosphere in the evening always makes the meal something special. Thank you to the staff at Carmela.

Very lovely food, nice variation from the standard chain Italian. Staff were all really lovely and knowledgeable. Will definitely be going back soon! Highly recommend.

Good food, reasonable priced, nice ambience. However, the service was a little inattentive, our plates took ages to be cleared and it took quite a while to take our order.

Excellent service. Food not as good as on previous visits ( 6+ months to a year ago). Perfect location for a meal on a balmy summer's evening.

Great food, but we had to wait half an hour for our table which was a shame as we had booked for 7:45, and were keen to eat!
