We dined here back in January and the food was so good that we vowed to return or our next visit to Brighton. We returned to Brighton on Tuesday 7th July for a 2, night break and booked a table for Wednesday night. The waitress remembered us from our previous visit and warmly welcomed us back and given a complimentary glass of Champagne. On this visit we chose (Starters) Empanadas Criollas (Mains) Chamuyo Special 4, (4 premium cuts of steak) with chunky chips grilled veg and green beans. The food as on our previous visit was absolutely superb/exceptional in fact, cooked to perfection. The Empanadas, (spicy beef) were delicious and the 4 premium cuts of steak Fillet, Rib-eye, Sirloin, Rump (med-rare) were melt in the mouth tender. All washed down with a large bottle of Quilmes lager. Chamuyo is a must visit if you love great steaks in a restaurant with great service and a lovely atmosphere. A very pleasurable dining experience and we will be back when next in Brighton. 10/10 isn't high enough praise for all at Chamuyo.

Booked ahead of Day 1 of Covid Re-opening and so delighted we found such a super restaurant. Food to die for, Anchos especially. Camereras with passion and knowledge and a bill that doesn't scare the bank manager too much on Monday. + A quality, affordable Malbec. Hello!

Our party of 4 had a wonderful dinner, we all had steak and enjoyed every mouthful. It came exactly how we requested and we certainly didn't go home hungry. The staff were lovely and I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone.

One of the nicest evening meals we had out in a very long time. Our hosts were very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We would heartily recommend Chamuyo, for its great food and relaxed atmosphere.

Food and service excellent and couldn’t be faulted. The volume of some of your diners however was too much and needed addressing.

We Wouldn’t go back!! Over priced for the standard of food. Food was flavourless & greasy. Toilets were extremely unclean. Staff were untidy & unprofessional.

We have eaten here before with no complaints, but this time it was not as good. Two of us ordered our steaks 'medium' and another medium rare. The two medium steaks were undercooked but as the restaurant seemed to be a bit disorganised this time we did not return them as didn't want to wait for them to be re-cooked, as one was for my son. We had to ask 3 times for a bottle of water too. It is a nice restaurant and generally the food is good so a shame this meal was not up to the usual standard.

Great buzzy restaurant, sadly we were in a pokey, cold room at the back on our own. Wine good, steak perfect, sides cold & when asked were replaced with more cold sides. Won’t return.

Wonderful food, presented and served to top standards, very pleased with my overall visit.

Very friendly staff, warm welcome when we arrived. Staff were informative but didn’t try to oversell. Service was very quick. It was my birthday and they gave me a free desert and a glass of bubbly for me and my partner. Oh and meal was excellent, 10 out of 10 all round.

We stumbled across the restaurant the previous evening, It looked very busy and very popular. Having already eaten we decided to look at the menu and liked what we saw. Diners entering the restaurant recommended it to us and advised us that we wouldn't be disappointed. We booked for Sunday evening. The choice, quality and taste of food was excellent, the waitress and owner were very welcoming and helpful. Great atmosphere. Will definitely return

Steak was excellent and the service was just perfect, not cheap but very enjoyable and will return.

We were greeted by our lovely and friendly waitress, Danielle, she instantly made us feel welcome. Before asking us, she then recommended the chimichuri sauce which, was sensational! When ordering we asked her opinions on what we were getting as it was our first time and she was so helpful. Our overall experience was amazing, we honestly couldn’t recommend this restaurant enough, one of the best we’ve been to!!
