The restaurant seemed keen to squash 8 people into four small tables in the middle of the restaurant, despite there being plenty of other free tables. Pushy waitress - told us we should order a bottle of wine, rather than two glasses; suggested a sauce for steak before we’d even ordered; said we shouldn’t both order chips with our steaks. My chair was bashed twice by staff and I was consistently hit as I was eating by staff due to the lack of room - not one apology. Steak wasn’t rested properly so plate filled with blood when I cut into it. An awful experience.

Lovely atmosphere with attentive friendly staff, food was amazing and plenty of it too. Would recommend and will go again when next in Brighton

Really enjoyed our food at Chamuyo. The steak was delicious. We had a very good Bottle of merlot as well. The staff were very friendly and greeted us on arrival.

Wow... This restaurant was amazing, my steak was cooked to absolute perfection and full of flavour, the staff were excellent and made helpful suggestions I ate alone and enjoyed every minute as I was made to feel comfortable,
