Excellent steak, and great range of steak choices too, perfectly cooked too. Desserts were very good too, particularly enjoyed the salted caramel ice cream cheese cake.

Excellent food and service. Steak was delicious and the homemade onion rings were amazing! Would definately go there again and recommend to friends and family.

Brilliant food steak cooked to perfection, the staff were really friendly and couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be going back and will recommend to all our friends.

Good staff, good food, comfortable place, reasonable prices, good wine, plenty of places for free parking at night. but onion rings a little bit OTT.

Good Food, Good Service, nice little place for meal. Black & white decor is nice and the hat and cane hanging up is a nice touch. Have been six or seven times now. I'd recommend.

Best avoided on cold nights or keep your coat on. Service a bit eratic and they aren't always sure if menu items are on or not! Steaks OK when they arrive, but paying a challenge!

Amazing steaks - grilled to perfection. Lots of more unusual cuts of meat, and fantastic subject knowledge - really felt like this place knew its stuff. Puddings and wine also top notch. It came highly recommended by friends and it didn't disappoint!

Another lovely meal at Chaplin's . Not the cheapest of establishments but the quality of the food warrants it. Very popular so make sure you book.

Restaurant decided to close as quiet, they did offer to open for us when we got there however they should have called us beforehand to inform us !

It was my First time visiting chaplins steakhouse it was fab, The service was friendly and my partner and I really enjoyed our food. will definitely be back :)

Excellent from the Kent we walked in to when we left. Friendly, happy staff. Food absolutely delightful and great choice of wines. Would absolutely return and recommend.

Such a lovely experience, very personable - it actually felt like we were at lunch in someone's home. The owner (I believe she was) was very attentive without being overbearing. The food was very tasty and there was plenty of it. In addition, prior to our arrival at the hotel, I was telephoned to ask if we were celebrating something ( we were a large party) I said that it was my husbands birthday and they put birthday banners up for us which was an e tea touch. Will definitely dine there again.

Worst dining experience ever!!!! Waited forever only to be served undercooked chips and cold jacket potato!! All in all this took 2 hours!! Avoid this restaurant there are far better in mumbles!!!!!!!

Just awsome. Ribs were massive. Fish massive. Staff amazing will recommend to anyone. Small but spotlessly clean.great location to walk your meal off afterwards I will be going back asap

The staff were really attentive on the, I was contacted on the day of my reservation to see if it was a male or female birthday, and they said they'd put a few banners on the table for us, which was a lovely gesture. They called me on the day of the booking to reconfirm. There were a few things missing on the menu as it was a Monday, but they gave us plenty of other options to choose from. Very nice ambience and didn't feel rushed. :) They gave the birthday girl a glass of prosecco to celebrate and kept the cake a secret and delivered it just on time. Thank you!

Intimate setting. Excellent service, waiter very professional and not pushy. The steak was excellent and cooked to perfection. The onion rings are a meal in themselves and the batter in them is delicious. The owner couldn't be more helpful to accommodate the customers. Highly recommend.

Food was excellent. my hubby had T bone steak this was mouth watering, I had rib eye steak both of these were cooked deliciously , the onion rings stack was melt in the mouth, it was a nice evening.

Booked this place for my bfs 45th bday and glad I did. The food was absolutely to die for!! Really tasty. Even the salad was fresh and crisp. My partner had the steak and I had salmon of which there was plenty of. If your partial to a pint, like myself I would recommend the 'gower power' a locally made aleasy and went down like water. The atmosphere, lightening, and music was perfect and being across from the sea front made the night even more special. Even the chef was lovely as she wished us a good night as we left. Would recommend for sure.
