Chime - Hartford

Waited rather a long time for the meal (35 minutes) but worth the wait, it was excellent!!

Our first visit since Chime changed its menu to Tapas. It was really lovely but overall very expensive!

Really lovely food and an excellent choice of drinks, especially cocktails!

Very slow service despite being empty, one meal was missing some ingredients. The poached eggs were had and the toast had been sat there so long it was really hard. Very disappointing

I have been to Chime a few times now and always had a good meal.

Food was good, one dish was burnt but this was resolved quickly

Sunday lunch was the usual high standard for 3 out of the 4 of us dining together, the other whilst ok the Yorkshire pudding had been burned and so had a burnt taste, although was edible apart from the top parts. Not their usual high standard but as we have had numerous great meals here before we are definitely going back.

Fantastic night at chime last night. The new menu was really tasty the service was excellent and having the DJ gave a great atmosphere. Great value for money as well. Definitely be back. Thanks.

We went for the tapas style food which was very nice although the pigeon was slightly over cooked. For 2 of us with a bottle of wine it came to £75. They also do pizzas and larger meals.

Frequent visitor. Staff are always friendly, attentive and the kitchen service is excellent, even during busy periods.

The service was great we could take our time and the food excellent. Hope to go back again soon.

Friendly service, delicious food! The beef shortrib was particularly impressive.

We had a great evening. The food was lovely especially the Crispy Chilli Beef. Best I've ever tasted! The young lady who was serving us was very polite and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. We will be visiting again very soon.

Nice experience. Not a massive fan of the new menu layout. Food was nice. The salt and pepper fries are the best we've ever tasted, packed with flavour.

The food was amazing, We had lots of small plates between a table of four and it was really good. The chicken thighs were to die for, and the flat bread with dips were beautiful. The lads loved their huge portion of beef short rib, and the ladies loved the frozen strawberry daiquiri and the cherry old fashioned. Will definitely be returning mostly for the cheeseboard!!!

The food was good, but for us it's a shame the menu has changed from conventional to little plates.

Really good deal on a Monday night 2:1 on Pizza. Really fresh and taste lovely. Highly recommended

It’s took 30mins to be seated for a table we reserved for a specific time, once seated mains were ordered these took over an hour to arrive at this point the restaurant was pretty much cleared/completed all main orders. Food was lovely just a shame about the service

Super cocktails and enough choice on the ‘tapas’ style menu to suit everyone. Service good also. Will be returning.

New menu threw us at first. wanted Sunday roast but only red meat choice. once we settled in had a nice dinner with good service.

great service and nice meal. the atmosphere is always good in Chime

chicken under cooked, told the staff, was told it was due to colour of the sauce. it was very pink in the middle and definitely not cooked through. They did nothing about this. Very dissapointed. I go frequently here but will not do so anymore.

A nice meal in a good early evening Friday night atmosphere. The only criticism would be that the bottle of white wine we ordered was warm. However this was sorted out by a large bucket of ice and a bit of patience.

Fab as always. Totally new menu now serving tapas style dishes. Chilli beef is to die for. Cocktails are lush. Service was quick and both ladies looking after us were attentive and friendly. Can’t wait for another visit!

The menu has changed at Chime and I now find difficulty in choosing from the menu. It was previously my 'go to ' local place but now Im less confident in recommending it to my friends and family. The food was better before the change !

Sadly disappointing. Our order got lost so no food after an hour. Although the staff did the nest to apologise (and I'm sure it's not a common error) meant we had to leave with no food. It was our anniversary too :(

For the first time, told the table was only available for 2 hours! The service was so slow that we didn’t finish eating till we’d been there 2 and 3/4 hours! Tapas portions too big but tasty. Crepe brûlée was disgusting and sundae was just liquidy with no obvious ice cream. Didn’t bother with coffee, we’d had enough.

I went to chime twice this week.During the week the food was amazing and the service was great. The waitress was super friendly and efficient.At the weekend even thou the restaurant was quiet the food wasn’t the same even thou we ordered the same meal.We waited a long time for strawberries and choc pot.The cappuccino was like a weak milky latte so we asked for a replacement ,that came back the same. We spent 93 pound and did not really enjoy it..The waiting time was long too. I hate giving bad reviews but thought you should know .We live in Hartford and only want the small businesses to thrive in our gorgeous village.

My partner & I just moved to the area & this was our first visit to Chimes with friends. The food was tasty, well presented & hot. The young lady that served us on the night was really nice, polite, efficient, she went above & beyond to help us choose our food on the night. We will be coming back real soon. Quality and choice of tapas-style dishes were amazing. Customer service and ambience excellent. Favourite place to eat in the Northwich area.
