Can I finish the meal and digest before you ask for my views! Good meal but downgraded because of the ludicrous timing of your survey. Not even left the restaurant.

An enjoyable meal in pleasant surroundings. It was nice that the staff were able to produce something that wasn't already on the menu .The Service was ok, although we did have to ask for more drinks as no one seemed to notice when our glasses were empty, but the staff were polite

Good value food, well cooked, very good service. Really spoilt by so called discretionary 10% service charge. Would like to see transparent full cost on menu

Excellent food, attentive service. I whole heartedly recommend China Brasserie. It's never disappointed us when we've been. We chose a set menu and there was more food than we could finish.

This was my first visit to China Brasserie, and I was very impressed. Great atmosphere, great food and great company. Will definitely visit here again.

Lovely meal with shared starter and plenty of food for the main both fish and meat . Both the waiters were very attentive but didn't impinge on our discussion. House wine good too. All in all a really good evening despite the weather outside!

After meal clearance wasn't great. Overall service was good but food presentation was a bit hit and miss. waitress was very fit though. happily eat there again

We enjoyed a tasty mixed very generous starter platter beautifully presented followed by a selection of piping hot delicious main dishes. The food is very high quality and cooked to perfection. There is always a warm welcome and the service is excellent. This is definitely our favourite Chinese restaurant! oming and excellent service every time we go.

Excellent food, good price for all you can eat offer although this is from a reduced normal options menu. Service a little slow but it was pretty full on a Sunday lunchtime. Overall very good and we will return (again).

Superb food, wonderful contemporary chinese with western influence, freshly prepared and cooked to order even for their Sunday buffet. Service is excellent ALWAYS and we cannot fault.

Lovely food and excellent service with an extensive menu and lovely wine list with locally sourced wines. Highly recommended and would definately be going there again.

Great service and delicious food as always. However on this occasion we opted for the early sitting value pre theatre set menu as we were seeing a show across the road afterwards. It had good choice and was very nice, but we noted the portion sizes were disappointing on the main course as they were smaller than usual, even the side of rice and noodles were noticeably reduced. Perhaps this should be perhaps mentioned with the advertising. It was our first time of using this menu and would perhaps be more wary next time. But they cannot be faulted for the polite service and great taste of the food.

Lovely restaurant, staff were tentative and polite. Food was nice and the atmosphere was also pleasant. I would go back but maybe not with a large group due to the size of the restaurant.

Lovely place, great for a pre Theatre dinner. The staff are friendly and very attentive. The ambience and decor is really nice, which all adds to a nice dinning experience. We usually visit the China Brasserie three or four times a year and will be looking forward to our next visit.

Excellent service and food. Wines were priced sensibly and served well Good space around table unless by wall but that was a minor irritation Food was freshly cooked and recommend the banquet option

Great service and food was lovely, we were going to the theatre and the restaurant was extremely busy with no compromise on service. We had a bottle of local Ridgeview and shared a crispy duck that had a fantastic taste.

Very helpful and quick service as we were rushing to get to the Theater and running late. Food looked lovely and was very tasty too!

being Chinese New Year and my birthday my wife thought/hoped there might be something a little 'special' but it was an ordinary meal served at times by weekend working students. A bit annoying to see as we left that the birthday parties downstairs all had garlands on and were clearly having a good time, while we had been upstairs. Food was good though.

Prefer the downstairs part of the restaurant, no atmosphere upstairs. Vegetarian main course was very very small. Starters came out at different times which wasn’t good. Lovely staff though

The food was excellent, with a good range of choice without being overwhelming.The service and atmosphere were equally first rate and we will certainly return.

The restaurant is nicely laid out with beautiful decor. The staff aretention attentive, friendly and efficient. The food is delicious and nicely presented on the plates.

Excellent food standard as high as ever. buffet on a Sunday is a great idea but note range is more limited but quality still as high as the normal menu. Service can be a bit relaxed so be prepared
