Lovely meal, slightly inexperienced staff but very sweet and helpful! Food was delicious and we felt very good value. Highly recommended - the belly pork is especially good!

Food was excellent and service was fantastic very friendly. I highly recommend the chilli beef with mango. Only improvement could be air conditioning, they did have fans going but it was a very warm evening which is rare inthe uk.

Had Sunday buffet menu for father's day. Food and service fabulous as always. Have visited many times. Chicken satay and deep fried courgettes a must.

We had a very enjoyable evening in this restaurant, the food was great - good quality, and the service was lovely. There was a slight mix up over the bill where we were mistakenly charged twice for coffees but that was very quickly rectified and apologised for.

Great service and excellent food from a menu (all you can eat Sunday menu) that would match most needs/wants. Great quality food all round and drink prices very reasonable.

Good value for money with the all you can eat buffet for Sunday Lunch. Plenty to chose from with a variety of flavours. Often visit before shopping or the cinema.

The food was very good however, the service was not so good. Its wasn't the service by the waiters it was the comments that they were busy in the kitchen when the food didn't arrive all at once and they were a waiter down are not necessary, a simple apology and cheery smile would have gone down much better but they coped well enough. Overall it was a nice experience and good food. Thanks

Another lovely meal. Didn't rate the full 6 just because a couple of dishes got forgotten although this was resolved. But food quality is excellent and the starters are our favourite part of the meal.

Fabulous quality food but disapointingly no rose wine No curry And no chips But went away full and happy We Will definitely go again xx

We had the pre theatre meal which was very good value and the food was delicious. We would definitely go there again and recommend the restaurant to family and friends.

The food was excellent. Service was a little all over the place. The wrong starter arrived and then my starter was given to another table and then back to me after it had been sitting with them for 10 minutes. One of the guys working there was fantastic and kindly lent me his phone charger. The rest of the staff were very pleasant they just need a little more training.

The service and food were good, as always, but we were next to a table of very noisy people which spoiled the overall experience as we couldn't hold a conversation on our table. Fortunately they left well before we did so we did have relative peace towards the end of our meal. The welcome is always good!

Service was a little slow, however food was very good and the staff were friendly. I would definitely eat there again if service was improved

Food was excellent and plentifull. Service was unobtrusively efficient. Atmosphere was pleasant. Waiter was very mindful of hubby's seafood allergy. Will definitely be going back and would definitely recommend.

This was a great dining experience. The concept of 'eat as much as you like' but controlling it by charging for uneaten dishes is really good, especially as you can simply order another dish at any time so no excuse for waste! The food was great, the service was good; the only down side was that the coffee took an age to arrive, but at least it was delivered with a smile and tasted like coffee!

Great food and speedy delivery once ordered. Cosy restaurant and the Sunday buffet is very good value. Service could improve, they seem to take a while to come back to you.

We received a very warm welcome from the owner upon arrival, the ambience was lovely and the service prompt & friendly. The food was delicious, served beautifully & came from a very varied & interesting menu. Would definitely recommend this restaurant either if you are visiting or lucky enough to live near it.

I was hurried into a rather squashed room upstairs which needed decoration and decided it would have been much better if I'd stayed at home x so I went home

Excellent food. Party of 6 all enjoyed their choices. Busy on a Saturday night with theatre goers (special offer available). A bit slow to serve but we were in no hurry and had a great time. Recommend.

The staff are friendly and helpful and will check if you are going to an event at the Capitol so they can ensure quick service. The food is very fresh and light - very good indeed. The set menus are great value.

This was a pre-theatre meal, at a special price, and very good value. The service was prompt and the food good. There could have been a bit more vegetable in the chicken and black bean sauce, but that's a minor complaint. Overall we were very pleased and would certainly go there again.

A lovely evening had by all, table was ready early, very helpful and friendly staff and the food was spot on! I would highly recommend this restaurant.

This was our first Sunday visit the Chinese Brasserie so were slightly disappointed that the buffet was not a self-serve affair . There had been a bit of an issue booking for a family including 2 young children (3yrs & 9 month old) and there were no high chairs to boot. We were also seated upstairs as we had a pushchair but after all that it didn't detract from the meal which was very good. Saying that fizzy drinks (coke etc) were v v expensive at £3+ !!!!

We have been here a few times and have always had a lovely meal. We came here yesterday to enjoy the Sunday all you can eat buffet. Charming little restaurant with really nice attentive staff. Food was fab and all cooked fresh, which you do worry about sometimes with all you can eat. Book a table, you won't be disappointed and please try the smoked chicken.

A party of 8adults and 3 children .excelent service, food very hot, freshly cooked. A good time had by everyone. Will be back again. The Sunday Buffet is well worth a try.

Great food and service , well decorated Chinese restaurant cosy but all the class too . The staff were all charming but not intrusive and the quality of the ingredients used good compared to too many other Asians restaurants .

Really enjoyed our meal here. The food was all delicious, hot and promptly served by a friendly team of staff. Only downside, we sat upstairs by the window bed it was rather cold!

The China Brasserie Manager wasn't there, so the service was a bit slow, but the thing is, there was excellent food otherwise. We recommend highly.

We had a great evening last night. The staff were friendly and attentive in a relaxed way. They were helpful when I was choosing dishes to eat suitable for a vegan. We will be returning.

Great evening. Food excellent, service very good. Only one criticism, it was a set menu so too much food for us and we couldn't eat it all.

An enjoyable meal in pleasant surroundings. It was nice that the staff were able to produce something that wasn't already on the menu .The Service was ok, although we did have to ask for more drinks as no one seemed to notice when our glasses were empty, but the staff were polite
