Cinnamon Bazaar - Covent Garden

A great south Indian restaurant in Covent Garden. Staff very helpful and friendly. The food was really tasty and different from normal Indian restaurants.

Last Sunday I had a wonderful time at Cinnamon Bazaar with very close friends and family. Everyone loved the food and the attention. For my partner and myself it was already our second time at the restaurant in the last few weeks. Really really worth it. Wonderful food.

Nous sommes déjà venus 3-4 fois et adorons la cuisine et les cocktails proposés. Ce samedi, il manquait 3 cocktails sans alcools et nous en avons été à chaque fois averti après les avoir commandé ce qui était frustrant. Nous étions installés aux tables à l’entrée qui se trouvent dans le courant d’air, car la porte s’ouvre régulièrement et les gens la laissent souvent ouverte. La pose d’un rideau permettrait de régler ce soucis. Les tables à l’entrée sont au calmes donc très agréables aussi non. Nous avons très bien mangé mais nous avions commandé un lassi qui est arrivé une fois le repas terminé. De plus, nous étions 4 et n’avons pas été conseillé sur la quantité des naans commandés, nous aurions aimé savoir qu’il nous en fallait plus afin de ne pas devoir en recommander et attendre. Nous reviendrons mais demanderons une table à l’étage.

We had a good time at Cinnamon Bazaar - interesting menu, great food, good attentive service and we liked the ambience. A bit hard to hear each other at times as the people at the table behind ours were very loud.

Christmas day lunch. A bit pricey. Food was great , with one exception (biriyani). Staff was helpful. Good ambiance. It was a good choice.

It was lovely but not the best value for money

All good but there should be non spicy mains. We ordered a main that was indicated as non spicy but it clearly was as well.

Felt waiter was rushing us the whole time. Such a shame

Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere but the restaurant was very cold and we both had to put our coats on. Also it would have been nice to have some signs of the Diwali festival which was celebrated in many places this weekend.

When we arrived we weren't on the booking sheet, apparently this is constant with Quandoo. The food was excellent as always but on a busy Saturday evening the staff were overwhelmed, we know this is a constant headache all over the country, wherever we go there are always vacancies for staff. Overall we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and have booked a table next month when we next visit the capital.

Food was great. Everyone must try the fried gourd and onion salad. The waiter was amazingly friendly without being intrusive. And we finished it all off with tea in these beautiful teapots. A MUST GO.

The food was lacking in flavour and spice. It was disappointing since we were looking for a more creative approach to Indian cuisine. I would not recommend.

Lovely as always. Cinnamon Bazaar offers a great food and atmosphere, and one of my favourite masala chais. What would be good to improve is the noise level and size of the tables – they are quite small for sharing plates.

We loved the food a lot and the service was wonderful. Our waiter gave us great recommendations and the ambiance was great. We would definitely come back next time we’re in London and will recommend to others.

The food and service are always good and excellent value for money. The atmosphere and decor have room for improvement although they are passable but not really good enough for the Cinnamon Brand

I’ve been coming to this restaurant for about 5 years. The food is wonderful. The service has been going down hill though, tonight (23 April 2024) it was quite poor. Had to remind the staff that we’d ordered drinks, had to send back an incorrect drink, had to ask twice for the bill. Need to pull your socks up and sharpen your pencils.

Food is great. Although belly pork was Luke warm, taste was amazing. Upon request, staff warmed the belly pork up. Paneer was absolutely yummy. Biryani also good, quite spicy.

The food was fantastic. Had a lovely afternoon tea. Love the decore.

Sometimes a place has a magical mix of excellent service, unbelievably delicious dishes and ambience. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Each dish was better than the previous one. There was nothing among the several dishes we ordered that was less than exceptional. I will be longing for the shepherds pie again. The desserts and coffee continued the delight that was our meal. Anna and staff were phenomenal.

We had a great time particularly as we were a bit pushed on time so as to get to a show
