Cooks Bar & Kitchen is without a doubt, a great place to visit and eat. It’s a clean and pleasant environment with superb food - we each had steak which was grilled to perfection. The staff too are very pleasant and attentive without being in your face. Will we return? …. Yes 😊

First start with the only negative, the service was quite slow however resturant was busy. Food was terriffic atmosphere was good and the staff were all very nice and helpful.

We used a Groupon voucher for the fish and chips meal. It was cooked to perfection as usual. Generous portions too. There were 2 lovely glasses of sparkling wine included. Service was great, All staff very polite and friendly. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Had a great 2 course Sunday Lunch today really lovely food and everything else just fine. Good Value too.

Came for lunch today usually come at night everything was great and we were not in any way rushed

Nice lunch, soup was excellent and mains were good. Restaurant heating wasn't working when we arrived, thankfully the heating engineer was on site and got it working about 30 minutes later.

Very nice visit. Staff friendly and efficient. food very nice. Both partner and I had lamb Rogan Josh. Only slight criticism was would have was more sauce with the lamb would have been even better as it was delicious

We all ordered something different and everyone enjoyed their meals. The wait between the starter and main was slightly long but this was down to the 4 individual orders being prepared to be served together, and we had time to catch up so it was not an issue.

we go quite often to this restaurant, we have never had a Groupon voucher meal before I was disappointed in the little choice of hot food also the scones were only plain ( most people prefer fruit more flavour ) they were tasteless and dry. Still have 2 vouchers to use not very optimistic anything will be better any better when I use them

The food never disappoints, I always have the slow cooked beef and my husband and father-in-law had the steak pie, the meat just falls apart. My father-in-law loved the food and managed to fit in 3 courses.

It was very good and the food was lovely. My only complaint would be the slow service. It wasn’t busy so there’s no excuse for that!

Had not been to Cooks for a while but will definitely be back .The slow cooked beef was melt in the mouth delicious and the steak pie was also delicious .The onion rings were huge and beautifully crisp .Made room for apple and cinnamon crumble and ice cream which was lovely .The staff were very pleasant and the prices are reasonable .All in all -a beautiful meal.

We used a Groupon voucher for the steak meal. It comes with 2 x glasses of wine. I chose the Rose. The steaks were cooked to perfection as usual. Service is great, staff very polite and friendly. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend a visit.
