Another wonderful family meal. One of our favourite restaurants to travel to and know we won't be disappointed. Another great range of meals, great service and friendly staff.

Ourr 1st trip here as a family and what wonderful food and service. Such a varied menu with something for everyone. Will definatelt be back.

Food was okay I had a jelly texture lump in the middle of my beef but was cooked lovely potatoes were a little dry.

It was a beautiful meal, the food was lovely, the staff were very polite and friendly and looked after us. It is such a beautiful relaxing place to sit in, totally enjoyed it. We felt the drinks were quite expensive though. Apart from that we had a steak deal voucher from Groupon and it was well worth the money and definitely will go back again.

Lovely menu, great food and sunshine to eat out with. Fish & Chips were amazing as was King Prawn fajita.

I love this place and the staff are always very pleasant however......I asked how the macaroni and black pudding was served and was told that the black pudding was served on the top of the macaroni so that was perfect. When my main arrived it looked the black pudding had been mixed through the cheese sauce and it didn’t look appetising at all. I did mention this to the waitress and she then said sometimes it comes like this 🤷🏼‍♀️. Too polite for my own good I ate about 2/3 of it but I didn’t enjoy it. To cheer myself up I ordered a ‘Lemon Bonbon’ cocktail. It arrived and it was very transparent and right away I knew that there wasn’t any egg white in it. Again too polite, I drank it. When the waitress came over to see if we wanted anything else I asked was there egg white in my cocktail and she she immediately said ‘no, do you want me to make you another one with it in it?’ I said no as we were ready to leave but why show ingredients for drinks and not make them properly? I really expected a discount from our bill but no gesture was offered. We paid in full and even included a tip out of sheer gratitude to be out after not being able to for so long, and left. It would have been the end of it but I then get asked to review so I have and have been very honest. If it’s any consolation my husband enjoyed his steak pie.

All very well organised had to give individual contact details. Waiting staff wore masks whole time and tables well distanced between each other. Food was lovely and no rush to vacate the table.

Great food and service, have been before and would definitely go again. Only no alcohol, but that was Covid regulations, but we had a great time. Thank you to the waitresses, very friendly.

The peroni was flat, yet they still tried to charge us. There was a plastic tag in my mashed potato but they still charged us for dinner and offered no explanation about how it happened. Ordered steak pie and the portions were small. Chips were frozen chips not home made. It was quite a disappointment all round.

Felt safe quiet and pleasant atmosphere service the same. overall we enjoyed our night.

Reduced menu, but still plenty of choice. Friendly service, large portions, all very tasty. Very quiet with no music playing, and tables more spaced out to comply with COVID guidelines.

I looked at the menu on the website prior to our visit. On arrival we were told the early bird menu wasn’t available despite there being no mention of this on the website. This was why we chose cooks. Also my wife had bones in her fish which out her off her dinner. We also feel that the food was over priced for what it was. Disappointing visit and wouldn’t hurry back

The waitress on had no interest in customers, no small talk made or much manners. We did not feel welcome in the slightest. She allowed two customers who walked in nervously to leave without offering them any service. The macaroni was flavourless and watery, we told the other women working and the reply was “oh ok” no apology or an offer of anything else. I rave about this place and brought my friend for the first time and was a terrible experience.

Fantastic quality food in a lovely atmosphere. Good playlist of songs playing in background. Service great all staff very polite and attentive. We were there for birthday celebration and will be back again

Had the Early Bird menu, good range of choices well prepared and presented by friendly staff. This was our first visit but won't be our last

Went for dinner on Boxing Day. Place was near enough empty and service was so slow and staff were not pleasant! Waited a hour between starter and mains,Kids meal were not like normal kids meals looked like there were from a instagram photo. Will not be back or recommend and is definitely not child friendly! Also payed more for an adult desert that was the same size as the child cheap one!!

Excellent service & delicious food. Out for an informal birthday lunch. Thoroughly enjoyed the 3 different Sunday roasts. Thanks to all the staff.

The meal was lovely. Only criticism is that the macaroni came with chives and a bread crumb on top and it wasn't stated on the menu. Excellent service and a lovelt atmosphere
