Great service and delicious food. The risotto was amazing! Only reason for 5 instead of 6 is that the tables are pretty packed in and I had to keep moving to let people get to the table behind me. will still be going back though.

We've been wanting to go to Cornish Tiger for ages and we were not disappointed! Delicious food, great atmosphere and very attentive staff - I will definitely recommend it to friends and will return myself.

Food was lovely and service was very friendly, and the restaurant was cosy. The only tiny comment i would make is I think they over season the food with salt, especially the vegetables. Love the sustainable sourcing work though.

Ran out of roast beef at 2pm Sunday - booked for Sunday lunch and we we're seated next to a draughty rear door they were going to get fixed (pretty darn chilly- they offered to move us but only other option was next to the front door or next to a group with 4 screaming toddlers) - apart from that great food, great staff, lovely atmosphere. We do feel it is ever so slightly overpriced.

V good English food. Bigger than it looks and comfier as well. Fish dishes were the highlight and wine list went well with them. Wines not the most reasonably priced would be my only negative.

Mixed feelings. Thoroughly enjoyed the smoked fish starter but underwhelmed by the chilli corn fritters. Great steak for main though tiger sauce was odd and fiancé's coley and chorizo was unbalanced an uninspiring. Walked away feeling that £115 for 5 courses between 2 and a bottle of wine was steep for the experience we had. Would go back but only for the set menu.

Service and ambiance were very good. The food was beautifully presented though the dressing on the lovely duck salad was very tart. We works visit again.

Very quiet for a Sat night just before Christmas so slight lack of ambience as result, but the food was brilliant - and great to know where it was sourced. Waiting staff were great too.

Really pleasant place to go to - the staff were all incredibly nice, friendly and incredibly attentive. Even though our table heard two big bumps from something being dropped nearby, their friendliness and swift apologies meant our experience wasn't disrupted at all. The food was presented elegantly and tasted amazing. Only one small note for anyone who needs wheelchair access - the toilets are downstairs. One of our group was in a wheelchair but that didn't affect our dinner at all.

Our visit was really nice, staff was very helpful and acomodating, ambience was very inviting, I wish it was more vegetarian dishes there, vegetarian community is serously growing in a recent years! We will back 😉

Warm and friendly welcome on arrival, and continued as such throughout the evening. Menu was balanced and uncluttered. Food was prepared and presented to perfection... and tasted absolutely fantastic. Restaurant was busy (at 8pm... so book in advance) but was able to enjoy conversation without being overwhelmed. Finally, the bill was more than reasonable and represented good value for money ( generally I eat out approx, three times a week). This was my first visit and would be more than than happy to return again sometime in the near future.... we'll recommended.

Nice atmosphere but food ok not worth price. Starters all over thought and as a result a bit tasteless. Mains better.

Friendly staff, good food, nice ambience. I will go again. Really nice to enjoy the experience in relative calm (it was not really busy) and not feel rushed in any way.

First visit, went because it sounded interesting. Blown away, superb Sunday Lunch Menu, attentive friendly staff, wonderful ambience. Definitely going again even though it is "3 days camel trek" from were I live.

Delicious food. For once I wanted everything on the menu and great service. Appropriately attentive.

Our food was excellent with a well balanced judge of textures and flavours. It was lovely that the chef asked us personally what we thought of our meals. If I could find any fault it was that service, while thorough and helpful could be slow and difficult to attract. Otherwise a fabulous five star meal!

The food was fantastic and each dish had a delicious twist that really made it stand out. The service was also brilliant. I will definitely be going again.

The food was everything I expected. Interesting and beautifully cooked. Service was great at the beginning but we were left too long before ordering dessert. Highly recommended
