Excellent Sunday roast with amazing meat. Lovely decoration and excellent service. The homemade desserts were good (we recommend their panacotta, close to perfect) Only downside, they dont have cider!

Excellent fresh food and very helpful service. The lunch was delicious and attractively presented. Prices were very competetive and the drinks menu, though short, is good quality.

Great food and atmosphere and brilliant service. The menu had a good selection, something for everyone. It did get rather loud in the back room which wasn't a problem for me but understand that it might be for some (but it was a Friday night with lots of big tables).

The experience has been overall very good. The food was tasty and well prepared. The service very friendly and helpful. The only thing that I have to say is the the place is quite tiny and being full of people in every corner it was quite noisy.

Meal was tasty, but mains were a bit small. Service was good. The wine was nice- It was called Bogle, and it was a Californian Petite Syrah 🍷☺️ xxx

Very good food and service. The only think letting the experience down was the desert which was just ok. That could also be because the starter and main was great. I will def go back here again

Cute little restaurant. Good service. Nice wine although not much choice at entry level. Food was very good and innovative. Didn't like the sofa with dining table concept especially if you're not that tall. My mum had to sit on 2 cushions to prop herself up. I think the designers need to 'use' their furniture to see if it's practical. Otherwise a lovely evening.

Good service. Quite expensive for what you get though - small portions. Food was tasty but I would have preferred a much bigger portion. Drinks were overpriced too.

We had a fantastic Sunday lunch at Cornish Tiger. One of the best Sunday roasts I have had in London and the desserts were delicious too (especially the chocolate fondant and the ice cream). I definitely recommend it and I will be going back!

Nice staff and setting, but food really wasn't very tasty. I had a crab starter which frankly tasted just odd! The descriptions of the food don't match up to the reality unfortunately.

Interesting global menu. We had the reasonable value set lunch which had good choices, especially for my vegetarian friend. All the dishes were tasty. Service was friendly and prompt without being over-bearing. Restaurant was not busy but we enjoyed the ambiance so much we stayed for 6 hours! Would recommend this place and go back.

Delicious food: we went for the set-menu available before 7pm and it was great value. Starter: a very fresh and light salmon mousse, and also a hearty rabbit & chicken pastilla. For main: we both chose the pork belly which was cooked to perfection with amazing spices. For pudding: chocolate mousse with ginger shortbread. The place has a lovely atmosphere, with attentive but not overly intrusive service. Will definitely return.

A lovely, relaxed restaurant with a good range of menu options and attentive service. The food was generally good (lentils with butternut squash, spiced yogurt and pumpkin seeds were light and tasty) although not exceptional (celeriac and apple soup was bland). That said, the set menu is very good value for money. A visit is recommended.

The food and restaurant was really nice, but it was definitely let down by the service. We were often getting up to find the waitress for drinks, cutlery, the bill etc.

Fantastic food but service was a bit mixed - took ages to get attention / to order drinks / food etc. A few of us wanted the smoked chicken salad but they'd run out of this (and bread!) which was surprising as we were seated at 1pm for lunch so still quite early and the restaurant wasn't particularly busy. Nice ambience and good location.

BETTER ATMOSPHERE IN FRONT OF RESTAURANT THAN IN THE BACK. SERVICE AND FOOD VERY GOOD. THE FRITTERS WERE FANTASTIC AS WAS THE COTE DE BOEUF. TIGER SAUCE IS A TREAT AS WELL.

Good. Towards very good. I am 64 and I wanted somewhere for my (younger) wife and I to go with our 18 year old daughter for a bit of an occasion. We wanted somewhere easy and local(ish) and we had left it to the last minute on a Saturday afternoon to plan it. I was a bit surprised to get the booking so easily. The bill was £210 but that included a round of cocktails, a bottle of wine and one of the dishes the cote de boef for 2 at £58. It was a really nice evening, and the staff were really welcoming and friendly, and the food was almost entirely very good. This is not a criticism but the restaurant is hard to classify. They say "casual fine dining". Yes sort of. They make a big thing about ingredient quality and the sourcing. Very good. However, the portions are pretty large and more akin to a gastropub (although more special). That can be brilliant or not depending on priorities. How much do you as a customer rate "sophistication"? The presentation was nice - slate plates etc - but not "fine dining" style at all. The food did not have the artistic flourishes which in many places are pretentious, but some people like them. There are no table cloths (because it is "casual"), no long explanations about the food and how it is cooked, no fancy presentations, no sommeliers, no endless attention and endless filling up glasses that one expects with fine dining. The menu is straightforward, food orientated (no "drizzled with jus") but classical. No "small plates" or "tasting menus" here (I wish there had been as some dishes sounded interesting) . Starter, main, dessert. Not vast choices but once again that may not be a problem. The bread to start with was typical. It came (with a normal crust) in a basket just like a gastropub. Not in a fancy heated cloth with rocks in it and with extra flavours (for example). The butter was just butter. Not made with skimmed goats milk (joke) with some special local flavouring ....... However, the bread was clearly fresh and very nice. But don't get me wrong, as a group of 3 we actually really enjoyed almost all the food. The wine list - I chose the 4th cheapest red wine and it was £30. I think if you are "casual" then some clever choices of inexpensive wines would be expected. It did not feel like a fine dining wine list either. Decor and ambiance - yes casual but not fine dining. Not retro. A bit fake trendy. It felt like modern IKEA wood tables (wood - tick) and the room surrounded by a railway carriage soft bench seating. You have to have exposed brickwork (tick), and a bit of artwork (tick), music (modern but bit innocuous tick) but it felt their heart was not really into it when it comes to atmosphere. Cornish Tiger is about the food, the cooking and the sourcing, and is not quite so much about the "experience" So I suspect that they are just a bit confused who they are aiming at, and therefore some customers may be a bit disappointed, and yet it is a very honest and good quality attempt at really nice food in a restaurant environment without being pretentious. But does that make it a touch expensive? But we enjoyed it and we would go again.

We were slightly disappointed with the starters (overall and the size), but overall a lovely restaurant. I would avoid the table just inside the front door though - a bit drafty and newcomers constantly standing over you.

Loved the atmosphere and the Tempranillo. The starters were very morish and although the lamb was tender it was a little bit on the fatty side for me, but that's just a preference. Great location right on my doorstep. We'll be back!

The ingredients were locally sourced, many from Cornwall. Whilst there were no pasties on the menu, my ox cheeks were superb. My dining companions were Cornish, and approved.

Buzzy. Staff attentive. Missed a side dish but quickly remedied. Slightly overpriced, too New World wine list. We will return nevertheless. Very good cabbage (Side dishes are a good test of a restaurant): attractively presented starters, and sensibly proportioned helpings. Chef didn't resort to the cheap trick of oversalting: the food retained its own flavours
