Lovely food, excellent service and reasonably priced. Elliot was an excellent waiter - nothing was too much trouble and he was there when we needed him but not when we didn't.

Excellent meal, my steak was lovely and my friend really enjoyed her tuna, with a very helpful waitress. Very relaxed atmosphere and had no concerns. Will definitely return

We love this restaurant, it's our absolute favourite place to eat and we've been waiting for it to re-open so we could return! We weren't disappointed, it was just as good as ever with excellent social distancing measures in place to protect staff and customers. Top notch food, spot on service and a great atmosphere - what more could you ask for?! Thank you Cote :-)

As always, a delicious meal courteously and efficiently served. One would hardly have known there was a virus scare - everything was exactly as usual except for the waitress' visor. We would have liked to tip a little more, but our waitress said it was not possible. Please convey our appreciation as a poor substitute.

Fabulous! It was their first day re-opening after the COVID-19 lockdown, and all the safety measures were in place. Staff were so lovely and the food was delicious. Will definitely be returning.

Good food and service. It was a little noisy and you have to talk very loud for your neighbour to hear you.

We were invited to sit immediately next to a large Hen Party. We changed seats but it was still too noisy for normal conversation in there. The food just seemed bland. Well cooked, hot etc. Just unexciting. The service was good. My first choice meal wasnt available though. I would normally have had some cheese and Port to finish, but it was so unrelaxing in there I was actually quite keen to leave, so I sacrificed the dessert menu.

First time at the Basingstoke Cote and not disappointed. We chose from the special menu and enjoyed a complimentary glass of Kir Royale which was really appreciated

Lovely evening. Staff so helpful and friendly. Excellent food and comfortable atmosphere. Will certainly recommend it and visit often ourselves. Has a perfect ambiance for romantic date or larger family or work group.

I have made several visits to the Basingstoke restaurant and always received good service and excellent food. On this occasion there was a slight problem with wrong meal being served but the staff dealt with it calmly and professionally.

We enjoyed our pre Concert meal,the food was very good. Also the service was excellent.We are looking forward to our next visit in the near future.

Came here for Valentine’s Day with my partner! Fantastic value for money. Sensational food. Waitress was brilliant as well. Would highly recommend. Something Basingstoke had really been missing

Some confusion at start about who should be serving us but once sorted it was good food, with speedy service. Well catered for the children. Will definitely return.

The service was inattentive and food was average. Really not any better than the initial opening days - very disappointed. We had to ask to have our order taken after waiting very patiently and trying to get attention on mains then the same for deserts. It’s like we were invisible!

Excellent menu and all very good except we were sat right next to the till, bar and waste bin counter, hence the low score on noise level.

Our first visit to Cote Brasserie and we will definitely be back. Our table was ready on time, the food was served quickly and was absolutely delicious and all the staff were very pleasant and courteous. The only slight negative was that is was quite noisy so it was hard to hear when talking to each other over dinner. Overall it was a lovely experience and is now our favourite restaurant in Basingstoke.

The service was very slow. The waiter on our section kept ignoring us, as in once he realised he had forgotten about us he was embarrassed to come and say hello or apologise. The manager eventually came to help and was lovely. Food on the other hand was amazing. You must inject your chicken with water, it was melt in the mouth tender! we almost thought uncooked but it was lovely!!

Great service, fab with children. staff seemed to have improved since last time I was there. Did not feel rushed Easy to book online... also booking online we got a free cocktail. Did need to ask for it but they didn't hesitate to get it. would go again

Excellent food and service up to the point of getting the bill. We were charged for a bottle of wine that was supposed to be free and had to wait more than half an hour to pay.

Booked a table for 7.15 arrived early but was promptly seated. We had the drinks as part of the June offer. I thoroughly enjoyed mine. The food was fab. we had the roasted Pork Belly and Duck breast we added the mushroom sauce to our pork order ( try it) it is scrumptious.

Very enjoyable evening. Lovely food. Only complaint is that it was too loud, couldn't hear the waitress at all. Would certainly go again.

I had booked a table for 6 and when we arrived there were only 5, we waited 45 minutes to get our first drink - 55 minutes to get our starters (of breads and olives) and as soon as we received the breads our mains were brought to the table - we sent the mains back and were questioned over what were our actual starters as we are only earning bread?! Too little staff on duty to service the customers.

Great atmosphere and lovely food. Would really recommend but make sure you book! It gets very busy at weekends but the service is still very good.

Annoying music, food below standard, bit expensive for the amount on the plate, poor attention to the preparation of vegetables. In fact we were not jumping for joy, Fortunately I saw the added gratuities and knocked them off. CWW

Cote has been a welcome upgrade to the restaurants of Basingstoke.

Lovely food and great service. Very busy restaurant and acoustics not great but did not affect our dining experience.

Staff attentive, food good. Extensive wine list. Outside restaurant area opened, I didn’t realise Cote had that facilitie, bodes well for the summer. Unfortunately an Easter Sunday so restaurant was quiet. Will certainly visit again.

Normally go to Cote in Wokingham, this was the first time we tried Basingstoke. It was good but missed the ambiance the Wokingham branch has. It was noisy. The food was very good overall, the pork belly was excellent.

Have been on quite a few occasions for dinner and breakfast! The food is great the staff are friendly and nothing is too much of a problem!i am booking again soon for lunch with a friend!

Lovely food. Great service. Didn’t know the young Manss name who served us. Slim guy with a slight lisp. Very cute. Only been twice. Buts it’s fast becoming one of our favourite places to eat.

My weekly Tuesday visit. Superb Prawn starter and a glass of Chablis followed by the best steak in central Basingstoke with an excellent glass of Merlot. Did I mention the creme caramel?

Food and atmosphere were great but service poor and we were overcharged even though we had a voucher. Coffee took forever to arrive and we had to prompt the waitress to get it.
