Cote never disappoints - everywhere you go, and I’ve been to a few Cote restaurants dotted around... it’s always the same professional, friendly staff, excellent service and delicious food at affordable prices. Our Sicilian waiter for Valentines Day evening was the best yet at Cote, anywhere - what a delight to meet him. So very happy to have one locally in Basingstoke now but, I think you need another floor ☺️ Very very popular.... book in advance to avoid disappointment.

We thourally enjoyed our visit ,the food was excellent and service was really good , restaurant was lovely and warm ,so many places are cold these days and it spoils it ,plates warm , definitely go back

Welcoming and friendly. However had to send back my main as certain components were cold! Have eaten in other Cotes and the standard of service is not quite as tight or effective as other restaurants. Quality of food good. Overall a pleasant lunch time experience and I would return as it’s good to see this restaurant on our doorstep .

Since the Basingstoke Cote opened, a pre-show meal has become a part of a theatre visit. Great welcome and ideal table. A 5 o'clock table allows plenty of time for three courses and a leisurely walk to a 7.30 show. Looking forward to our next visit in March.

Service excellent as always and staff very welcoming. We had the set menu which was excellent value and very swiftly delivered - ideal for our pre-theatre meal. No limes available behind the bar for drinks and if they serve Bombay Sapphire I would say that was pretty essential. Overall the restaurant had a good buzz and i will go back.

Thank you Basingstoke for restoring my faith in Côte restaurants. A most enjoyable meal, the staff are friendly and the set menus are always very good value for money.

Basingstoke Cote only opened in December 18. It's a smart, comfortable and deceptively large restaurant offering the usual Cote menu. On my first visit there, service was prompt and helpful and both our starters and mains were very enjoyable. I'm always kept happy by a good choice of vegetarian options but if there is a vegan in your party then I would suggest contacting them in advance. Also, as with all Cote restaurants, if someone prefers beer to wine (as happened when I was there) then the choice is limited and expensive. The Basingstoke Cote is in Festival Place near the Vue Cinema so nearby parking is plentiful and easy. If I have any criticisms of one of a chain of restaurants I use frequently it's that I think the tables in Basingstoke are perhaps just a little too close to each other. But thankfully the town now has a proper brasserie at which to eat. Excellent.

A restaurant rather than an eatery - finally somewhere to go for a "grow-up" dinner in Basingstoke town centre. Good meal, charming service and value for money.

Lovely site & great to have Cote in Basingstoke. As always plenty of choice & good value set menus. Convenient for the cinema or a break from shopping.

Always had good food and service over many years. Monday my first steak was tough so they immediately gave me another, unfortunately my second was the same. The manageress apologised and did not charge me, which is what I would have expected. My two colleagues had fish which they said was very good. Although disappointing these things happen.

Good food good wine in pleasant atmosphere at last Basingstoke has a decent restaurant to visit. I will certainly be returning as this is now my favourite place in this area

Only opened a few days ago - we much enjoyed our first visit. A warm welcome from Nicola was followed by cheery and efficient service from Benny (?). The food, as always with Cote, was excellent, however, the high noise level was a little disturbing in this location that seems to attract a lot of children. Maybe some additional soft furnishings would help? Overall though, a really pleasant experience. Thank you Cote.
