A great first visit to our nearest Cote - have already booked to go back.

Fantastic meal first time of visiting this restaurant will definitely be back again. The staff are very attentive and polite. Wish I had visited the restaurant before now.

Breakfast was very good, staff friendly and helpful but after receiving a plate of toast it took waitress so long to return with jams that toast was cold so had to request more hot toast. Also why do they never have marmalade?

Perfect post cinema 30th wedding anniversary supper. pretty flowers and a card on the table when we arrived and delicious food. Plenty of choice with fixed price menu or a la carte. Subtle decor with flower arrangements , several groups enjoying an evening out and really warm. Fair prices, attentive and friendly service. just what we hoped for.

Always a lovely meal, staff attentive but not over the top, we were going to the theatre after our meal, the staff were aware of this and the timings were perfect

Helpful staff. Lovely meal of Tuna Rillettes followed by Fishcake with spinach & poached egg. Always recommend Cote for good quality food and value for money.

We are regular customers and are usually in around once a month at least. Service was slower than normal on this visit and some food was not piping hot hence the reduced mark from normal 5 to 6.

Food was okay,: steak was a bit chewy Service was very slow - our drinks order was forgotten at one point. There were a lot of staff stood around not doing very much and chatting amoungst themselves rather than clearing tables or attending to customers. Lots of people were turned away due to being fully booked although it wasn't very busy. Didn't seem like staff could be bothered to work (apart from one waitress who was rushing around doing loads)

The food as always was delicious and the service was great. Only down side was there was no Archers or Malibu!! 😫

A very busy evening in the restaurant however the team managed to provide an excellent meal. The service was first class and we were looked after very well throughout the evening. We loved the choice of dishes the only disappointment was the scallop specials had run out so we had to settle for the calamari which was excellent. As a regular visitor we had a great evening out with friends.

Booking a table was necessary - no problems. EarlyBird ChateauBriand : £20 !! to share was a bit misleading : it's obviously£ 20 each. Nonetheless , excellent … good wibe as well

As always with a Cote restaurant, we had a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Food and drinks were really good and the staff were, as usual, cheerful, friendly and very efficient.

Excellent service, food and atmosphere. Went for my sons birthday and it was a perfect evening.

The service was very good as was the ambience and the food in general. The pork tenderloin was OK, but I felt it could be better - a little gristly. The starter and the dessert were very good.

Lovely restaurant and good service. Front of house excellent. However, we were invited to your pancake day and savour a crepe with a free blood orange Martini. That is what I wanted to savour but the Martini's were not available :O(

Very good food and the staff make every effort to be helpful and polite. Highly recommended.

This was the second time we enjoyed a pre-theatre meal and we were not disappointed. The service was friendly and attentive without being over familiar and the food was well cooked and presented and generous in portion. We felt very comfortable and not rushed, able to enjoy a relaxed coffee before walking to the theatre. A very enjoyable experience, we have already recommended Cote to friends and will certainly not hesitate to come again.

Too noisy (room echoed as no soft furnishings) Pedestal tables mean no-one had anywhere to put their feet. I spent the evening sitting sideways with one foot through the side if my daughter's chair. Our server kept clearing the table by leaning over us and I resent your practice of automatically adding 12% service charge to the bill. You charge enough for your food. Tips in this country are optional. Adding it to the bill (even as an optional charge) is very passive aggressive. I would have declined to pay it but couldn't do so without falling out with my husband, who is reluctant to challenge these kind of acts. Food was good but I will need to think before going back again to Cote again.

Great food but experience spoilt by waitress who didn’t listen to us or our requirements, she just kept repeating her script and not responding to our requests or enquiries. We removed the service charge from the bill as she really did manage to ruin a happy family outing with our married kids and grandchild. We Think Julia needs more training - we usually love the Cote Brasserie experience and visit usually once a month - but now we will think twice before going again.
