Côte Basingstoke

A delightful experience at Cote Basingstoke today for Sunday lunch. From the warm welcome when we arrived to the delicious well cooked food and the recommendation of different wine to try as we usually stick to the same thing every-time, it was great from start to finish. Lovely atmosphere and the staff are so lovely, first time we’ve ventured out for months and we thoroughly enjoyed it. We’ll be back soon. Thank you

Our breakfast was delicious, the quality of the food was outstanding however the organization' at the entrance to avoid people in and out in order to maintain the safe distance was not good enough.

Lovely to be able to come back to Cote for brunch. Some minor wrinkles as they're just getting back up to speed following the lockdown, but everything resolved without fuss and exceeding expectations. Can't wait to go back next weekend.

Pre booked online easily for Saturday brunch. Greeted by friendly staff who checked us in and had the QR code for the NHS app. Advised to wear a mask other than when seated and it was card only. Coffee was one of the best I've had in ages. Brunch was very nice, service quick and friendly. Left feeling full and reminded of how easy eating out used to be!

Food is always good and good portion size. If we have any concerns the staff are always willing to help sort it out.

The belly pork was amazing and the lamb rump was juicy and very tasty. And it was all hot on a very warm plate.

Food was above expectations! I love Pork Belly but it is often done badly - this was falling apart - beautiful! Waiting staff were so friendly and attentive. Definitely going back!

Really good service. I had the fillet steak and it was cooked to perfection. Recommended a lovely merlot to pair it with too. It’s always good when we eat there but yesterday it was better than ever.

My lady and her daughter have just finished a most excellent Chateaubriand with you in Basingstoke. My thanks for looking after both of them, the food, atmosphere and service were all of the highest standard

Anniversary dinner Prawn starter was amazing and Steak was cooked to perfection wife had lamb and she had nothing but praise. A complimentary glass of champagne or Prosecco would have been nice but hey ho still can’t really complain. Been for lunch a few times before too and can’t fault the food in any way!

Superb! Delightful staff, we left a commendation on our table, naming the ones who served us but somewhere there's a chef who knows how to cook steal perfectly! Love the fact that there's no canned music & hard surfaces (sound), so it's an easy place to chat & enjoy one's food! Thank yo, we will be back!

Obviously having an off day compared to prior visits. The chicken was incredibly fatty & it didn't taste like it normally does. Staff were disorganised, with multiple waiters turning up with spoons at the same time. Also ran out of the cocktail of the month at 19:30h on a weekend!

Everything was perfect! The reservation process, food ordering and the whole experience was enjoyable.

This was our 2nd visit to Cote Brasserie in Basingstoke and once again it was wonderful. The staff are just as you want in a stylish restaurant providing a lovely environment. They did not intrude unnecessarily but maintain constant attention to what we needed and when. The food was once again amazing & just as we enjoy when visiting France. In the midst of the terrible Covid times in the UK our night out for dinner at Cotes was a moment of pleasure in a very safe environment. Thank you and we will certainly visit again & soon.

Was celebrating my mum’s birthday - a lovely experience - nice ambience, service and food.

The staff were so friendly and were really good with our little girl. The food was delicious and we are really glad we came out in the rain for a Saturday treat.
