Brilliant Birthday evening. Very attentive waitress, we all had an idea of what we wanted, and some of us changes our minds. The food was good, and the Manager was a brilliant host.

Another excellent evening at Cote Basingstoke. Excellent food, got dwindled and great service! A special shout out to Jordan, thank you for finding us a table away from the madding crowds and looking after us so we’ll all evening. Niall you run an excellent restaurant and have a great team behind you! We will be back soon I know!

Lovely family meal for my husband’s birthday. We all enjoyed the evening and were made to feel very welcome by all the staff, particularly the manager. Will definitely be making a return visit.

Our server David was amazing, great banter plus true professionalism! Was very attentive all the time and very helpful. Food was amazing, we had the 22oz sharing ribeye, was delicious, highly recommended!

Great afternoon from start to finish. The staff are very friendly, engaging and knowledgeable about the menu. The starters were gorgeous and decent size portions. However, the mains were to die for. My lamb rump was absotely gorgeous and the duck breast my wife had was one of the nicest meals she said she'd ever had - good praise indeed considering we eat out 2 or 3 times each week. Will definitely be back for more.

A fantastic evening with good food. The stand-out thing however was our waitress, Sinead, who went above and beyond to make our evening extra-special. Thanks!

We had to wait for ages to give our order because it suddenly got very very busy? Then again we had to wait for the bill as everyone was leaving at the same time!!

This is by far our favourite restaurant. My husband and I had our first date at Cote in Eton so were delighted when a restaurant opened locally, and they've never disappointed. The quality of staff, service and food is exceptional and we love going there. On the one occasion where a cut of meat was not good and the chef could never have known, we received an instant apology and replacement without quibble, further confirming the reasons why we love this place. Cannot recommend highly enough **********

Busy in the restaurant which made for a great atmosphere. Our waiter, Salvo, is a credit to your business. Friendly, personable and good humoured - made the meal enjoyable.

We enjoyed our meal. The waitresses served well , but the what appeared to be more senior male member of staff that supported really needs some training! On all occasions when he came to the table he reached and stretched over the table across us not walking around which was very poor. For this reason we did not leave all the service charge. This was my firsts visit, if this was to happen again I would not leave the service charge and would feel I should inform the staff why, but if service charge is shared it seems very unfair on the waiting staff. I look forward to your response.

Restaurant was too cold, must have been the aircon, although it was a wet day, it was warmer outside.

The bill is always wrong...why, this is not the first time it has happened.

The food and service would get 5* but it was so cold in the restaurant, I was glad to leave. Would have stayed longer for coffee. I asked if the aircon could be turned down, and looking around a lot of customers were sat with their coats on, as was I and one of my friends.

Another excellent experience at Cote. Great food and service at Basingstoke and we particularly enjoyed our complimentary Pamprelle Spritz's! Didn't even need to remind the staff that we had requested to use this offer when booking - they mentioned it straight away.

We had a great time from the moment we was welcomed up until we left. There must have been a shift change as the service at the end was not up to the standard of the start. Food was excellent. Overall, a thoroughly good time.

We had a wonderful lunch here! The food was absolute perfection, the restaurant itself had all the authentic ambience of a French bistro, the service was warm and friendly and the bill represented superb value for money. We had a real “push the boat out” lunch with a glass of Kir Royale to open with, and a bottle of fabulous sparkling rosé, an indulgent dessert wine and really first-class starters and mains (lamb rump with Cornish potatoes was the stand-out dish), at less than £50 a head. This is a really good restaurant run by people with a passion for great food and great service (even a rude, belligerent and unreasonable customer was dealt with quietly and efficiently). Definitely recommended for a special occasion but with sufficient room in the prices for a light lunch or an affordable, quick supper. 10/10!!

It was our first time here and it was a great experience. Staff were so friendly and really interacted with our son and made him feel part of the experience. Food was excellent and well presented. Would definitely recommend and will return again.

A lovely meal with best friends was made even more enjoyable by the friendliness, fun and excellent of the staff plus the delicious food

I have only given 4 out of 5 for waiting times as we felt the main course came a bit close after the starter. A ten minute interval would have been better. Otherwise all was great. :)
