French onion soup Superb 👍🏻 Steak Tartare was ok!! steak had lack of flavour I had the Slow Belly Pork!! A little disappointed as all I could taste was Thyme and nothing else!! Fillet Steak was good!! Cooked well(rare) not to sure where the beef comes from as not sure that it’s great quality for a French restaurant!!! Had the chocolate fondant was good for the taste but Luke warm!!! The service was great at the start and then we were the only ones in there (22:15pm) and then the staff seemed to have disappeared! I feel like there is lots to approve on!!! First time there!!! Also they charge 12% on any bill!!! where as I am a big foodie I would like to show my appreciation by how good the service/food is instead!!

My husband and I visited for our anniversary meal and the whole experience was amazing! All of the staff were very friendly and they even had a card for us for our anniversary which was a sweet touch. Our waitress in particular (sadly didnt get her name but young blonde girl) was so lovely, she was really attentive and we wanted for nothing. The food was incredible, served quickly after ordering and all hot. We really couldnt have asked for a better meal.

Great evening, great meal!. Lamb rump initially came out overdone, I asked for medium, but this wasn't a problem for the team, they took it away, replaced all sides and the lamb came back perfect. Good turnaround.

Excellent meal but the vegetable side dishes are too expensive. It was much too noisy making it hard to hear each other on a small table of four. Shut the glass doors and put in air conditioning. Or turn off the background music and put in some soft furnishing to absorb the clatter and chatter.

Outstanding food and service this is our third visit now to cote brasserie Basingstoke and will be back again soon.

The selection of food looked great on the menu but in reality was disappointing..and some not available...warm beer..toilets needed checking more frequently...sorry bit very disappointing

Stressful could not hear each other speak. The food was good but you have to buy vegetables separately making it expensive.

Would have been six stars had it not been for the 20 minutes wait to be asked if we would like drink. We were only asked then because of my intervention so not a brilliant start to our evening but the food and improved attention did bring us round.

We've eaten twice now at Cote Basingstoke, with exquisite food and drink both times … whilst the team are new and settling in, they could not be working harder or be more focused on creating brilliant dining experiences. Exceptionally good at listening and responding to feedback too (in a first-class way) this feels like a restaurant with a very bright future … good luck!

Had our usual brunch at Cote Basingstoke. The food was great and the staff attentive and helpful. Our waitress even pointed out that we’d been overcharged and adjusted the bill. We’ll be back.

V good service & attentive staff. I personally hate service charge 12.5 percent in this case so asked for it to be removed & we left our own gratuities which was fine . Good & wine excellent.

Foot was excellent but the service was poor. Couldn't find anyone to order dessert. Waited about 20 minutes to make dessert order and then waited another 15 before delivery. The restaurant was not busy.

The food and service were, as always, excellent. Friendly staff and very well presented and delicious food. All thats needed is the noise levels to be addressed. It is very echoey, if that’s a word, and makes conversation very difficult at times.

The staff very friendly and eager to please us. Although the restaurant was very busy, and we needed to be finished our meal by 6.45pm, they could not have done more to ensure we were. A very enjoyable experience.

This was the second time I've eaten at Cote Brasserie. The food is amazing and the service is top notch. So if you want a lovely meal, go here and you won't be disappointed. 5 star as a bit expensive and noisy.

This was my 6th visit to Cote in Basingstoke. Each time I visited was a very enjoyable experience but not yesterday. I booked a booth online but on our arrival we were told there was none available. We were given a table by the window which was nice but we were ignored for a while. No one came to take our order for some time, the service was very bad.

Incredible food, wine and great atmosphere. Unfortunately the service was slow.

Great fixed price value for pre-theatre meal. Friendly service and quick.
