Very good food well presented disappointed that you did not have the swordfish special.
Was really good, food excellent and quick service, would recommend
Food was lovely, staff where very friendly... would of been full stars if the service for other things like recieving the bill took a little while or for water to come when I asked twice
Lovely environment service & delicious breakfast Always a good experience at Cote !
Excellent food and service as always at Cote Brasserie. We were visiting The Anvil so location good.
Good nice staff Pitty the pudding was tiny but good overall service
Great meal along with excellent and friendly staff. Would highly recommended this restaurant.
Friendly staff, quick service and great choice of food. I would definitely recommend it to my friends
A special treat. Spent a lovely evening at Cote with my husband and 2 daughters to celebrate my birthday. The staff were friendly and efficient. They made me feel very special with a complimentary kir royale on arrival and a free chocolate mousse pudding (with candle!) for dessert. Our starters were generous in size and delicious and my steak was cooked perfectly. Would highly recommend.
Great food and our waiter was fantastic. Really made a fuss of my parents who were celebrating their birthdays.
The staff very friendly and professional. The food was very good. We had a cocktail as a courtesy. The price was not bad at all. This is the first time we spent less than £40 on a meal out !!! ( without drinks) Thank you
The food was delicious, but a little pricey. Service was good, staff very helpful and friendly. A good evening.
good food, pleasantly & promptly served. Restaurant comfortable & good toilets. Perhaps could have been brighter.
Great food Average service Slow, seemed to forget our Mains and there seemed to be a clear service difference between us and another table who appeared familiar with the staff.
Super as always. Staff know us so well and very friendly
We always love coming out to eat at Core Brasserie. Always good honest to goodness tasty food and great value for money!! Staff are always very helpful!!
Lovely table outside. Delicious food and good wine. Going back soon.
The steak was cold, the place was extremely noisy. The service was ok, some members of staff were more helpful the others, we were initially overcharged and the waitress was quite patronising when we did not correctly pronounce the food. I feel we should be able to tip rather than have gratuity added to the bill.
Fantastic breakfast! What a great way to start the day. All the food is of premium quality cooked to perfection. Table service is excellent with attentive staff always happy to please. We've never been disappointed and would highly recommend.
Highly recommend for a lovely evening out. Service and food was very good.
Lovely food and great service. Lovely atmosphere and food cane out in 15 minutes
Our party of 8 enjoyed the evening. I was slightly disappointed that the lamb was not available. The set up of the tables with a thick pedestal uncomfortable for feet placement.
Great food, the steaks especially were amazing, for that I was grateful
Had a really lovely meal and enjoyed the complimentary cocktail
A little uncomfortable with the main doors open especially as it was windy but slightly cool.
Lovley staff, good food served with a smile. lovley resturant
Very nice food, very nice service. We definitely will come again
We had a lovely meal to celebrate my sons birthday. However a few things marred the evening slightly. We waited 40 mins before our order was taken and this was only after reminding the waiter. The gluten free starter was served incomplete, the toast never came. We were in the restaurant for nearly 3 hours as a result of the poor slow service.
One star was dropped because we went for lobster and there was none left. Other than that and a few other of our choices not available, I guess because it was a Sunday evening ? Everything was fine and service was very good.
Nice relaxed service and good choice of gluten free food. Thank you for the birthday bubbles!
Overall, we had a pleasant meal at Cote Basingstoke. The staff were welcoming and were expecting us. Service was friendly but not very efficient: our starter was slow to arrive and we were just chasing it up when our main courses arrived. We were then asked if we wanted it halfway through our main course, despite having already said that we would go without. We also had to remind them about a second drink which we had ordered. Also, I am sure that I was given 'full strength' coffee having asked for decaffinated. The food was excellent, though! One tiny niggle is that there is an extremely limited choice of soft drinks available. If you don't want wine, there isn't much else to tempt you.
Not the usual standards we have come to expect from Cote over the years. Had to ask three times for our complimentary aperitif which finally arrived as we were finishing our starters. We both ordered lobster for our main course but were later told that the restaurant only had one and a half lobsters left. We were offered the half portion, at a reduced price, as a main course to which we reluctantly agreed. This came without fries which we had to ask for and tartare sauce instead of hollandaise which did accompany the full portion that I had. Dessert arrived and I had to request a spoon! Coffee came without sugar and we gave up waiting to get the waitresses attention to get some sugar. The bill arrived promptly when requested but it was an age before we were able to pay. What was to be a nice evening out turned out to be a frustrating one. No evidence of short staffing more likely a training issue at Bsingstoke.
Would love Cote to offer a cocktail menu, as a fussy drinker not having anything else available is quite limiting. Overall an enjoyable evening, service was quite slow and a few items we had to wait for which meant 1 person was waiting for his meal while others were eating.
Food was great, however our waitress wasn’t, stretching over me to get to my partner plate, leaning over to pass drinks etc. She needs training as we have not experienced this at other Cote’s we have been to
It was my husbands 40th birthday today! We booked a table in Basingstoke for 2.30pm. We arrived at 2pm and they allowed us to have our table early! They gave us a birthday card, the service was 💯 the food was 💯. The team were all just lovely and it was a top experience. We have eaten in top restaurants across the country and this was at the top of our list for sure... superb team xxx
A gem of a place to eat in Basingstoke !
The service was prompt and food was great! Along with our free bottle of wine, I can’t really fault our evening.
Excellent food very good service and a great atmosphere would come back
First visit. and absolutely loved it! Food, staff, service ambience, quality 10 out of 10!!
Nice meal service a bit slow. Additional outside tables in the hot weather causing extra work for staff and not enough to cover the extra workload.
