Pleasant environment, and staff are polite helpful, and cheerful and attentive

We’ve had a better experience before. Today seemed understaffed, rushed and our server was very unhappy. There was no juice and hot drinks took ages Our bill was totally wrong, and the corrected during the payment process - no apology was made. Fried eggs over done, bread in sausage baguette totally overdone. Croissant stale. We love coming to you, it’s mostly always a pleasure - today did not match up to how it’s been before, on any level. Such a shame. Tasha

Convenient location within Festival Place shopping centre but with views outside. The usual great Cote food and service.

Fantastic staff, front of house and in the kitchen, food is always very good.

Good food, service a little slow, we were on a deadline for the theatre , so perhaps we were over sensitive. Staff cheerful and could help with menu choices, would visit again.

Acoustics were very poor, we had a job to hear our guests over people around us, they were not noisy just the way the restaurant is acoustically. Staff were very attentive

Super food and super service once again. I think Cote have found a winning combination of excellent food, great service and staff, super ambiance in the restaurant and a night out that doesn’t cost the earth! Thank you😄

We had a lovely family meal. My husband had the crab starter, and our daughter the onion soup, which they loved. My husband had the ribeye steak, and he said it was the best steak that he has ever had. My daughter and I had the mushroom and spinach crepe for our main, which was cooked beautifully. For desserts, we had the frozen berries, and the crepes, which was lovely. We can’t wait to visit Cote again.

We visited for my parents anniversary and once again you delivered a lovely evening. My parents are new to the area and I think you'll have 2 other regular visitors. Food was great and on every visit to every Cote we've been to the staff are always superb. Thank you, we'll be back soon

Excellent all round service. Highly recommend this restaurant - a great addition to Basingstoke.

Excellent food and service as usual. Served by Agnesieska who was engaging (checked on our satisfaction levels throughout the meal) and efficient. Tomates Breton a delicious starter of varieties of Breton tomatoes served with grilled sourdough bread topped with goats cheese, capers and shallots. Cote burger and Breton chicken up to usual Cote Brasserie standards. Our Favourite Basingstoke restaurant

Very busy, but our drinks and food order hadn’t even been taken after nearly 40 minutes from arrival

A little disappointed this time (2nd visit). First time the service was far more friendly & fun. The server also dropped the cutlery breaking a glass on the table & spilling on the floor. An apology was given but the mess was not cleared up despite us asking. Loved the food though.

Extremely slow service Waited 20 minutes before drink order was taken My main meal was incorrect when it arrived but we waited long enough so didn’t inform the team Ordered a side of fries and the employee questioned why we would want to order them based on our mains - very unprofessional Surely upselling sides is beneficial for the business? We had to flag a member of staff every time we needed something rather than be asked We did not pay the service charge due to unsatisfactory service Overall extremely disappointing

We love coming and the fact that the new supervisor (whose name I don’t know) has come from reading and provides impeccable service and recognises people is awesome. He’s my favourite cote employee and should be praised!

A great pre-theatre supper at the Basingstoke Cote. I have eaten in many Cote restaurants over the years and a second visit to this new one in Basingstoke has convinced me it is up amongst the best. Front of house staff were attentive and service was quick. Our fish dishes were cooked perfectly and portion sizes excellent - although I may be imagining it, the portions seemed more generous than I've experienced in other Cotes. My only criticism of Basingstoke is that I think the tables are too close together and too small!

Amazing time at your Basingstoke restaurant! Our waiter was attentive and accommodating- my husbands 40th Birthday meal with friends and they couldn’t do enough!! Even decorated the boring Victoria sponge cake that I had bought in for his birthday! Fab time - highly recommended restaurant thank you all again 😀

Main course arrived far too quickly within 10 minutes, our bread hadn’t even been served. Restaurant wasn’t overly busy, but very noisy.

I always have a great time at any Cote I visit. The service and food are always great. The staff are always welcoming and the atmosphere is fab. Food is 10/10
