Didn't have long as we were off to the Royal Albert Hall but the food was well timed and we just the right time inbetween courses. Place was very busy but waiters were very attentive and food was very hot and tasty. Good value for money from the set menu.
Wonderful welcome by the Maitre'D, very friendly and efficient waitress together with a good valued meal and bottle of merlot! Will certainly return again in the future.
Well received and seated. The menu is familiar to us, and we all chose well. Wine was good value. Being a Saturday many families appeared producing a high noise level.
We are long term CÔTE enthusiasts and last night's visit confirmed our anticipation of an excellent meal in pleasant surroundings attended by professional, congenial staff. (not to mention the smoothness of the complimentary French 75). Merći CÔTE Kensington.
We are regulars at Côte. As always, excellent food, very good value for money and lovely service. This restaurant has a special formula, which works!
As always a very enjoyable evening. The food was your usual very good standard and the service was excellent. All the staff are extremely pleasant and welcoming.
Great food, nice friendly efficient staff, cute French atmosphere. Set menu is a great deal. We were noisy but the rest behaved. Nice that every table gets a jug of water.
Great service and food but can be a bit noisy
Reliable well cooked food. Lovely service. Good value menu
Good welcome staff very friendly. Food delicious but drinks bit expensive. Nice relaxing evening, nobody rushing you. Quite a walk to the loo! Very nice evening
Perfect meal, with good atmosphere after a show. We had a quick stop by with our 7 year old. Who was also made to feel very welcome. Good food & drinks menu for both us and our son. Will definitely go back
Great cosy ambience, very friendly attentive staff even in such a busy 7pm crowd, particularly Giuseppe. A great variety of dishes and food is consistently good.
Good value for money, thank you Cote . Enjoyed the 2 course deal & the complimentary glasses of champagne on the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the restaurant.
The manager was very helpful in finding us a good table. Food and service excellent as always. One of he better Cote restaurants, managed superbly.
Excellent restaurant in Kensington. Good choice of French dishes, Decent wine list and fair prices. Staff very helpful. Not our first visit and we’ll go again when we are in London.
I wanted to give the maximum, even if just for the wonderful service and the superlative Albert! But - unusually for Kensington Cote - the food was truly disappointing. Overall, presentation was lacklustre. The grilled sardines were tasty, but a pale, uninspiring serving that was too small - or the plate too big. Ditto the sea bream main course which, oh added woe, was overcooked! The creamed spinach had that congealed look of having been overheated and left too long and the fine tarte aux pommes was dry, hard and overdone at the edges. And this was the PREMIUM set menu!
The food was very good . However overall experience spoilt by being wrongly charged for a free bottle of wine, despite being assured by the waiter that it was all dealt with.
Everything was excellent, just a few occasions when service could have been faster. We shall continue to use Cote Kensington for our six-monthly Old College get together.
A warm welcome and promptly shown to our pre booked table. Service was efficient and a pleasant experience. Thank you.
Good service, and the food overall was OK, but although the Chicken was fine, all three Duck Breast portions were overcooked and luke-warm not hot and not a patch on the same dish we had and enjoyed at Sloane Square and Hampstead.
Charming and attentive staff, excellent food in a very relaxed atmosphere.
We are regulars at this branch of Cote - one of the better ones in this chain ,as it has more of a feel of a local restaurant . The food is reliably good and most importantly great value and the staff welcoming and friendly.
Staff were very friendly and welcoming. The StGermain gin and tonic was delicious, made by Anna Marie. We enjoyed our pissaladiere with anchovies then the Fish Parmentier and the chicken with mushroom sauce and would order that again. The only negative was that our table was very close to ones either side so we had to pull our chairs right in. We’ll certainly be back though!
Excellent food, service and surroundings. A number of different menus to choose from, catering for different tastes and priced accordingly. Staff were especially welcoming and efficient and the only comment that we would make is that we had an early evening booking and by the time we left at approx 10pm the noise level had increased appreciably-another indication of the restaurant’s popularity.
Love going to Cote! The service is always the best and food is so delicious!
Lot of problems with redeeming our wine voucher. I ordered For Goujons - they were barely lukewarm. The restaurant was very busy so I didn't complain at the time.
As usual we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. The service is always friendly and efficient. Unfortunately, and possibly unavoidable, the noise level is high maybe due to the fact that everybody is having a good time! The food was very good except the pork tenderloin that was unusually cooked in big portions rather than thin slices and it was tough. The asparragus risotto was delicious! Thank you! We will keep coming to Kensington and many other branches.
The on line booking system worked well and was easy .The staff were very friendly and welcoming and gave us the table my guests prefer and usually have. The food was really delicious and the service of the starters and main courses quick. The coffee ordered was much slower to come but by this time the restaurant was much busier. I paid at reception to save time which went smoothly. I considered that, in view of the location of the restaurant and quality of food, it was exceptional value for money. My overall impression is of delightful staff and delicious food and I will look forward to further visits.
Truly a great French restaurant! We are often there for lunch (love chicken walnut salad) or dinner (our favourite is roasted seabass). We are happy to have it in our neighbourhood.
WE always book Cote Kensington for dinner when we visit the Royal Albert Hall. Yesterday was after a matinee performance, as always was very good.
Everything was fabulous. The food delicious and of high quality. The staff are very professional. Music too loud and poor choice, something soft and gentle would be better
Great service. My guest did not like her appetizer and the server was happy to exchange it for something else. Always a great dining experience at Côte. Happy to be a frequent diner.
Food was delicious and the service was good, however ran out of limes at the bar and unable to make cocktails. What bar runs out of lines and can’t make a cocktail?
The staff; especially the manager were so extraordinary in our dining experience. The food was magnificent, wine excellent. The manager went out of his way to assist us with a coupon we wanted to redeem; he was fabulous. The servers we had were amazing. Thank you for a wonderful dinner; will definitely come back!
The food as always was excellent and good value, and the service exceptional. I was presented with two free glasses of kir royale because it was close to my birthday, and a charming birthday card with a chocolate truffle!
The staff were extremely attentive and the food was excellent. We had a limited time as we were off to the theatre and the staff were very accommodating and the service was really quick.
Good food, amazing value, nice staff, don't really need the music but it wasn't too obstrusive
This was our first experience of Côte Kensington. The charming Alberto was superb and showed us to our reserved table. The food was superb as was the service.. Thankyou for a smashing evening and we look forward to table 16 next time. Thankyou John ..
On this occasion service excellent but food not as good as usual. The moules mariniere were very poor indeed and when I said so nothing was done. Why ask one if the reply is ignored? The noise level was rather high as well so talking was difficult. This is not one of the best Cotes.
Great evening, staff attentive without being intrusive. Food well above expectations, for a good value price. We had dairy & gluten intolerant people in our party, they were accommodated without fuss, very happy with the whole experience.
We had a lovely meal . The six of us had a lovely time. It was a very suitable end to a lovely day. The service was excellent. Staff were friendly. Thank you.
Good food, not superb service. - slow and forgetting things, staff rotation doesn’t help. Outside places should be more comfortable. Overall stayed happy with the experience
It was very lovely, great food, tasty, fast and fresh. Great atmosphere and good price. Booking was simple and great specials that change regularly and are inspiring
Very busy Sunday lunch time, but the staff worked very hard and we had an excellent 3 course meal within 2 hours. The complimentary drinks were most welcome.
A lovely atmosphere in the restaurant. Although a busy Saturday the restaurant never felt over crowded or the staff rushed. Food was all lovely and the complimentary G&T delicious!
Service was very good and staff were attentive. Food served quickly and overall was decent. Price was relatively reasonable (considering it was Kensington). Fries do deserve a special mention as they were amazing!
Nice offer to have free bottle of wine for signing up to newsletter. Very efficient and charming French waiter. We particularly like the Kensington Cote. Will come back for sure.
As always a totally successful eating evening out. And such pleasant treatment from your staff. Thanks Cote Kensington.
A most enjoyable meal in a warm atmosphere with first class caring staff and making my wife and I feel welcome. Will visit again when next in the area.
I had booked a table several days before the planned dining (3 weeks ahead) - and on the day my husband went to the restourant in person to ensure we have a windowtable we like very much. When I arrived to the restaurant at the reserved time, the receptionist said that unfortunately our table had been taken by another couple. I asked to use a similar table which was free at the time, but the receptionist said it is reserved for somebody else. I was offered a table in the back of the restaurant but I said we do not like it there (too dark) and that we had booked a table from the front. I said I will wait for my husband to arrive (waited outside as was not offered a table). My husband came and he enquired about our table. He was told it is taken by others. The receptionist said "my bad". We were really dissapointed as had booked the table so early to ensure we can dine nicely on our anniversary. We ended up leaving to another restaurant. This used to be our regular restaurant - we came at least once a week and have celebrated all our anniversaries there. The staff has changed recently and the customer service has gone from 10 to 0.
