Great relaxed meal and staff heard me say it was my sons birthday and they did a lovely personalised plate wishing him happy birthday for dessert.

Great food, great staff but ambulance applied by groups of people just coming in for coffee. Although the predominant people were men, numbering about 20 obvious regulars, and quiet and good natured: it turned a stylish restaurant into a Costa coffee. I was their for my birthday with my son and had looked forward for weeks, but the french restaurant vibe was shot to pieces. By all means have the coffee drinkers in the bar and stool area but keep diners in the back . I'm not sure I'll be back anytime soon.

A perfect birthday celebration.Great menu choices for a meat lover, a vegetarian and an in betweener! We were given just the right amount of attention and no detail was missed. My daughter particularly enjoyed the Goats Cheese starter and the Chicken/ Walnut salad was filled with chicken. The complimentary chocolate mousse was a welcome Easter treat. Full marks to Cote once again!

Really enjoyable experience with outstanding service. The atmosphere was very relaxing and was quiet compared to most restaurants in the centre of Leeds on a Saturday afternoon. Food came quickly and was delicious. Can’t wait to visit again as it was great value for money!

We enjoyed the complimentary Rhubarb Martinis very much! Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Our fougasse was piping hot and wonderfully soft. OH had the steak frites and again piping hot and beautifully cooked. The duck breast was tender and full of flavour. We experienced a small delay in food service and although it hadn’t bothered us at all and we hadn’t complained the fougasse was taken off the bill. A very nice gesture. A very nice experience and we will visit again.

Had a lovely couple of hours with family, service, as always in Côte restaurants was to a high standard, one meal was a little cold and without hesitation our waitress apologised and returned within minutes with a freshly cooked plate, we like the food and service of Côte and we always leave feeling that our experience exceeded our expectations in relation to cost. Thank you

Your website said that the Mothers Day set menu would be available alongside our othe menus. In fact the usual set menus were NOT available and there was just a la carte. This is rather unfair in my mind. The manager swore it did not say that on the website but it is there for all to see. The meal itself was OK especially the charcuterie board. The Crete caramels (4 ordered this ) were not quite as good as usual.

Arrived to a table sharing a sofa with another customer so we were practically arm to arm, not very comfortable when you are so close to other people. This person was sat with their coat over her shoulders and it soon became apparent why as the air conditioning was blowing right at us. I sat with my coat on throughout the 3 course meal and another couple remained in their coats and scarves! I did ask for it to be turned down or off but it wasn't. My husband found something in his food, the manager was called over and we were told it was a peice of rosemary stalk. Apparently this is found often in this dish. Im not a chef but surely it should only be the leaves that are put in the dish? The table was cleared after our mains and we were asked if we would like anymore drinks. My husband ordered one but it never came. We had our desserts and asked for the bill, still no sign of said drink. We have been here before and really enjoyed the food and service which is why we returned but after this experience we won't be returning.

Very nice place to eat in Leeds. The staff are friendly and the food came out very quickly. There were five in our Party with one vegetarian. For the carnivores and the pescatarians the food was faultless. The calamari starter was superb as was the liver pate. The pork belly main and the cornfed chicken again were delicious. I'm afraid the same can't be said for the vegetarian options. The starter of goats cheese with apple salad and walnuts was below par. The cheese itself was excellent, creamy and pungent but it was all in all boring and bland. The only other thing was the obligatory French onion soup which the vegetarian always has. The main chosen was crepes with assorted wild mushrooms and cheese. I must have been unlucky because all my mushrooms were of the button variety all be it very tasty in the cheesy, garlicky and creamy sauce. However the chef needs to go back to crepe school. Crepes are supposed to be light and soft and lace like. The crepes were the colour and consistency of folded cardboard, very unpleasant. The desserts were very good. A extremely chocolatey mousse a very lemony lemon tart and a rich creamy sweet creme caramel. Let down again by crepes with burnt bananas and Chantilly cream. I've got to say I think the crepes were either shop bought or pre made and reheated. I would recommend but not if you are a vegetarian.

All the staff members we encountered were excellent at their roles and made our visit feel special. They give exactly the right level of attention. We chose from the excellent range of vegetarian dishes and enjoyed them all. The food was fresh, tasty and well presented. We will definitely tell people about Côte and will be dining there again.

This was my first time visiting Côte. Walked passed it many times and decided to try it for Mother’s Day. The food itself was lovely and came very promptly and better portion sizes than I was expecting. My only issue I have is that when I asked if I could use my trinity discount she nodded but gave us the bill without it and then avoided our table for five mines. When she came over to take the payment I explained it hadn’t been added but she said she didn’t know what it was was and would have to speak to a manger. I would have just preferred her to say from the start she wasn’t aware of what it was rather than avoid all contact with our table. Just think that staff should be aware of discounts and deals that are on offer. Overall though would definitely return.

Food and drink lovely however we were very shocked when the bill arrived and the breakfast, coffee and orange were all charged separately instead of the fixed £9.95 breakfast which we asked for. It was very embarrassing to have to ask for the bill to be reduced. This is not a good customer experience and some people are too embarrassed to say anything and end up paying more . Shame on you cote for not training your staff properly. I eat at cote a lot and would have expected better from you !!

Normally go to Liverpool Cote, so first time at Leeds one. Very good but knocked one star off as wine not chilled (had to ask for ice) and one plate was not hot which meant food cooled quickly so felt like had to eat more quicķly than would have liked. Food very good though (duck, Breton chicken and lamb rump with fennel all excellent and calamari good too). Friendly service, there when you needed them but not hassling us. Nice environment and atmosphere, but quiet for a Friday night.

We went for Valentines Day meal. The waitress we had was wonderful and very pleasant, she was very smiley and got all of our orders correct. The food was wonderful, magnificent flavours and good portion sizes. We had a set menu which was reasonable at 28.50. Had to wait quite a while for our desserts but when they came they were so tasty we soon forgot! Drank Bellini specifically tailored to my preference of flavour which was strawberry. Wonderful wonderful evening, would highly recommend.

The food here is always so good, and today was no exception. We were a party of four; two of us had the ‘deal’ option and two dined a la carte. All the dishes were excellent, and a bottle of Viognier wine was very good. I love Côte! It’s just a delight to eat here. We will return!
