Côte Richmond

Friendly, efficient and lovely food. It was quite empty at 5pm as we were going to the theatre later but when we left it was full, so advice to book. Cote never disappoints.

The restaurant was nice, the food was delicious. The waiting staff seemed pressurised when the restaurant got busy, perhaps one more member of staff would have eased the pressure. We had a very nice time as always at a Cote restaurant.

An excellent experience: delicious, food that's high quality yet markedly good value. Excellent service. Two of our party selected duck for the main course; this ran out before we were served. We switched to steak (natural choice of meat if duck unavailable). This option was more expensive (we'd have paid for it), and yet a £30 gratuity was deducted from the bill. The manager (and team) were extremely impressive and ensured we had an excellent time. I highly recommend Côte restaurants in general, and this particular branch is extremely good.

Very good meal, service very good. Prices reasonable on both a la carte and Specials menus.Staff were very accommodating to my party's needs and requirements.

Arrived early to a warm welcome. A good table with helpful service from efficient staff. Wide choice of food, well prepared and served promptly. Meal appreciated by all and good value. Will be going again soon.

The food at Cote was as good as usual, but they were short staffed which was painfully obvious. The worst part of the evening was the noise. We could barely hear ourselves speak. Upstairs was closed which meant everybody was packed in downstairs. Friends were eating elsewhere in the restaurant and sent us an email afterwards complaining they couldn't hear themselves speak. Next time we eat at cote we will go to Teddington or Kingston. We even had to wait 15 minutes for the bill!

Hope this is the top score I mean it to be, Booked table for 2 3 turned up no problem and when they wre really busy they asked us to move and gave us more wine

Whilst the service was very good and the staff attentive, I felt that the food let the restaurant down. The steak that we ordered was gristly and extremely tough , even though it was medium rare. A 12% service charge was automatically added to the bill.

I felt my Hake was rather dry, as was the couscous accompaniment. The starter of smoked mackerel and beetroot was unimaginative, with a few large lumps of fish plonked on lumps of beetroot with a sauce. I was disappointed. The cooking at Richmond Cote I feel is better

We are regular visitors to Cote and their formula is great for a good quality meal served quickly and efficiently. Great value for money. Excellent atmosphere

I have been a freaquent visitor to Cote Richmond ove the last ten years and think it the best one in London. August menu is fantastic, had beetroot/macarel salad pork bely , some minted peas and crem caramel to die for. Exceptional service on a very busy Friday evening.......NO ONE ASK US TO VACATE THE TABLE even after we forgot our selves chating long after our meal was finished. Thank you all at Cote Richmond.

Lovely food and wine. Good service at the start of the meal. Hard to get more water. The table was too near the toilets which meant one of my guests kept having to move. Chairs very uncomfortable.

Arrived early and were promptly seated and received complimentary Kir. Order selected from set menu and starters served following short wait and enjoyed. Mains also arrived, well presented, together with side dishes, and, again enjoyed. Table cleared without delay and desserts chosen. Staff attentive and courteous throughout.

We like Cote Richmond because it is affordable. The staff are lovely and the manager is always most obliging. Delicious food nicely cooked and well presented.

I love everything about Cote - except the terrible noise. I have no voice left. Food, service, everything - great, otherwise. We went at 1.00 on a Friday and there was a big party in so perhaps that made a difference. I think at 12 or at 3 it would have been OK.

We have been eating at Côte Richmond on an occasional basis since 2011 and have never been disappointed with a meal. Some dishes have been exceptional. On the most recent occasion, both food and drink were very good. However service was a little slow at times and the complimentary glasses of Kir were incorrectly added to the bill at the end, otherwise everything was acceptable.

Service exceptionally good, very friendly. I had salmon which was cooked beautifully. Marking down because my Dad's steak was very tough. I also don't like the fact that vegetables cost extra.

Food great staff friendly loads of atmosphere. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. My friend had not been before and loved it too. I have been to Cotes Teddinton & Wimbledon also Kingston upon Thames. Always enjoy them.

Unfortunately the steak was over cooked then under cooked. Once eventually right it was lovely but having to send back twice was disappointing and did spoil the experience.

Normally very good service but last night it wasn't good at all! We had to wait some time for our waitress to give the OK to the waiter who had brought our food from the kitchen - he just stood there waiting while she cleared another table, before he could give it to us, meaning the food was getting cold - we were starving so didn't say anything! Diners at the next table to ours had to wait 20 minutes before their drinks were served - they told us it was the worst service at Cote they had ever experienced! Perhaps the restaurant was understaffed last night - if so, perhaps more staff should be recruited?

Staff were really friendly and helpful. They also very kindly (and embarrassingly for her) sang happy birthday to my friend with a complimentary dessert! Food was delicious as always. Would definitely recommend.

My favourite Cote branch in London. Food is always good, staff is welcoming and great prize for menu option. Recomend to visit while you in Richmond ;-)

I had never been to COTE in Richmond and I was very surprised by the experience. The staff were friendly and very professional as in all the other Cotes.

I genuinely love the chicken and chips in this place - so I keep going back but it's making it harder and harder every time ... Last night's incident involved a couple who had complained about their food next to us and were impatiently waiting for a replacement dish and whilst the manager came over and dealt with them - by the time they had finished and left - their table was left uncleared for over half an hour. We were also ignored once our food had arrived and in the end had to go to leave before we were brought the bill. I'm not sure whether they are just understaffed in this branch - although I have had similar issues in other ones - but Cote, you're trying my patience and as much as I love your chicken and chips I may just have to go elsewhere in future.

Excellent lunch. Nice atmosphere. Good service. The tuna starter was especially nice and the chicken & walnut salad made for a suitably light main course. Set price menu has plenty of choice and represents good value.

The Richmond Cote restaurant is one of the nicest in the chain with good food and very efficient, pleasant service. The set menu is very good value.

Richmond Cote was the first restaurant in the group I went to about 7 years ago and its still my favourite. Great menu service and ambience. Would recommend to anyone.

We had a lovely time at Cote Bistro Richmond. The staff were pleasant and attentive without being intrusive. The atmosphere is always good at any Cote restaurant we've been too - only took 1 point off as it was a special occasion where we were celebrating my husband's 60th birthday and the staff were aware of this and a complementary Kia would have been very welcome :)

The restaurant is excellent value. It has good food, print service and a good selection of wines. I would recommend it for anyone wanting a good night out.

Food was great as always with Cote, But the service was appalling, FOH needs a complete and utter reboot from the top. Lazy management and slapdash team. kingston and Esher always sharp, first Richmond visit, felt like I had walked into a tired, worn out out chain like Bella Italia or the like. Please let me know when you have changed the leadership their, So i can try them again. Any restauranteur could walk in there and likely pinpoint the underlying problem here, lets hope the area manager is sharp enough to save the place.

A fantastic experience, we were given the table I had requested and the service went above and beyond what I had expected. The food was great, a wonderful evening.

The team at Côte were really warm and friendly. We were going to see a U2 concert and this was an excellent start to the evening.
