Really nice food as always. We had a delicious seafood starter and fish as a main, all perfectly cooked. White wine and desert completed the day.

The food was good but the service a bit slower than normal. There were very busy though. Felt as though they were a chef down in the kitchen. Still enjoyed it, ideal for a pre cinema meal.

Great setting, with delicious food. Service is good and reasonably priced for the quality. One of the few Richmond restaurants you can always rely on.

I treated my neighbour for her birthday to the lunch menu - three courses - and we both enjoyed our meals. Reasonably priced too so I would recommend.

Would have been top marks however chips were cold, condiments requested came after 15mins and friend not happy with burger burnt on outside. However manager was great and took some money off bill. I go at least once a month with my husband and as this was a one off will continue to frequent. Thanks for redeeming yourselves!

We had a lovely waitress and that made it all go along very nicely. We chose from the specials menu and it was really tasty and very good value , making special mention of the delicious haddock parmentier and the very special frozen berries with white chocolate!!

The restaurant coped excellently with the fact that two of our group of five arrived well over an hour late due to the A316 being closed due to an accident.

We had the early evening special which was good value and very tasty. The service was good, even though the restaurant was busy. Sometimes it is a bit haphazard.

Attentive service and good food with pleasant atmosphere. Our only comment is that the portions were perhaps a little on the small size. We both had calamari as a starter and baked hake as the main. The house white was very pleasant.

We frequently visit cote and on Sunday our experience was very good. Service from George was excellent and food very good. Our last visit was not the usual standard but we were more than compensated.

Food was reliable as always, but let down by the kids' meals taking far longer than the adults' - despite stressing we had a diabetic child who needed food quickly - and a stroppy waitress who really didn't care. The manager was very apologetic but still...not great.

We arrived and selected the pre theatre menu ordering within 15 minutes of arriving. The starters arrived promptly, but we then had to wait a further 50 minutes for our main courses and had to ask 3 times about our order. At first the waiting staff said we had only had to wait 12 minutes and we had to point out that this was from the time they had cleared our starter plates, which was around 35 minutes after we had finished eating them! When our main courses arrived, we had to eat them very quickly as we had to get to the theatre on time. The restaurant were apologetic eventually and gave us our bottle of wine free as compensation. The food was very good, but we were unable to appreciate our main courses. I will return to this restaurant as I have had consistently good service and food when visiting previously.

Great early evening dinner with an old friend. We had the set menu: my duck pate with brioche was delicious; frriend's asparagus light and lovely. I had the grilled chicken, which was fine - very tasty sauce. Sea bass looked good. We'd ordered spinach which arrived half way through - restaurant was very busy. We were well served by our waiter and when dessert was delayed, offered coffee on the house. We agree the set menu is one of the best deals going and will be back.

Cote usually has excellent service, however, our waitress service was 2nd rate, we weren't made to feel like valued customers. 1 of our dishes (Chicken) was under cooked, had no faith in sending it back for obvious reasons, also it was a special occasion, Mother's day & we didn't want to make a fuss. Overpriced, same old menu. It was a busy day but Cote needs to try harder, and not take it's customers for granted. All in all a Very disappointing experience

Booked for a pre theatre dinner and they wanted to know start time to ensure that we were through in time. Food and drink served promptly, not rushed and good service as well as excellent quality as always. Made the theatre in time: should have stayed longer as food much better than the play!

Chicken liver pate to start followed by Haddock wrapped in bacon all washed down with excellent French cider. Finished off with creme brûlée. Busy as a Bank Holiday Monday, so service a bit slow.

Yet again Cote gave us 4 perfect meals. We have been to the Richmond bistro many times and the food and service is always brilliant. No wonder it is always busy throughout the day!

Great location and decor and the food was of a pretty good standard. The various staff we had exposure to were great, but the waitress serving our table seemed uninterested and not particularly 'customer friendly'. She spent most of the evening chatting with her friends who were dinning at the other table. What was meant to be a treat for Mum on mothers day left a disappointing aftertaste. A shame really.
