Wimbledon Cotes had a good welcoming atmosphere. The service was attentive without being in your face. The food was excellent. The consistency of this chain and in particular this branch is why we return.
Great food really hot with excellent service. Wine was fully chilled. Apple tart was perfect sweet. Nice experience will be back soon. Hope there are many more offers!
I enjoyed Cote's consistent good standard of cuisine. As a regular customer I would welcome more frequent changes to the menu choice to retain our interest.
The restaurant was chilly when we arrived and as we were a party of two not four we were not given such a nice table. The waiter was very friendly and served us well.
Super food and friendly staff, but service a bit slow. The restaurant itself was in a great location and was lovely inside. Would go again definitely.
Excellent. I have now been to Wimbledon twice and was extremely pleased again. There is a lovely ambience and excellent food. On the special menu the portions were of a good size and a great choice. I will have to come again to sample them all! Very good service with a smile from Roy. He was attentive, helpful and very pleasant.
Although only had a small lunch on this occasion it was delicious, ending with the best creme caramel in the world! The staff are always welcoming and friendly and obviously care about their cutomers.
Excellent food at realistic prices. Service is warm and friendly and the staff work well as a team. Can highly recommend but book as it gets very busy.
Quite spacious inside and quiet at the time we came. The staff were polite and attentive. Our breakfast was delicious and plentiful. We look forward to going back.
I thought my experience was fantastic, as usual. Good food, and great service - its the service that makes all the difference. I would add, cheerful and welcoming staff - keep up the good work! Many thanks,
Great food and service. Value for money and atmosphere make for a great experience in the heart of Wimbledon Village. Highly recommended for a group or couples
An Enjoyable evening - we had straight forward good food delivered with a good service. Restaurant was full but the service was still good and it didn't feel rushed.
The Cote in Wimbledon is always busy and that is a good sign when so many other restaurants are struggling. They are always welcoming and quick with an offer of a pre-dinner drink plus water (although on my last visit this took almost 10 minutes - it's usually a lot quicker than that). The cooking is excellent and the timing between courses is just right. The staff are always helpful. Excellent value for money.
We've been to a number of Cote Bistros and the food is always reliable. The lunch/early evening menu is good value and the a la carte menu caters to everyone.
good service, very good food and a lovely (free) bottle of wine. I always enjoy my visits to Cote and look forward to the next visit
The food was great and wonderful value. The only criticism is that there was a noisy party close to our table and we could not really easily hear each other speak. Staff as always so friendly.
We booked a table for Sunday brunch for a group of 8 including a baby. Excellent service, location and food. What more can you ask for?
As always consistently excellent food with superb friendly service and extremely good value. We shall be returning very soon. The monthly changing menu always provides huge variety.
The guests who ate off the set menu were satisfied but the guest who chose the Roquefort and walnut salad said there was very little cheese in it. My prawns gratinee were disgusting containing too much uncooked tomato puree and very few prawns. I sent it back.
Welcoming staff and delicious food. Very enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again. Two of our party had the steak, which was very good. I had the warm beetroot salad and salmon fishcakes, really good.
Food as good as ever but seemed to be short of staff ,though waitress apologetic and as nice as ever so usual good experience as eat there often
Really enjoyed the food, everyone in my group had something different and all the food was very good, good portion size, and good value for money. Restaurant has a good ambience
As always, very reliable, good food and service. Excellent value with the pre 6.00 pm specials. Very well run with good management and staff team work.
The usual good service, fixed price lunch with plenty of choice. Lots of clients so restaurant has a buzz even for a mid week lunchtime.
Lovely food and wine. When busy it gets very noisy so that it's hard to converse with friends across the table. Other than that, Côte Bistro puts a lot of pricier restaurants to shame with its well cooked food and pleasant service.
Excellent and good value for money food with excellent service. Wrong steak was delivered but service recovery was excellent and great management presence. Thank you
We had great brassiere food and the service was first class. We had booked, but people just dropping in off the street were unlucky. As it was so busy, the only slight downside was the noise level, but I would still recommend this restaurant.
As ever food was good, staff were attentive and a good time was had by all. If you were to reduce the minimum words it would be far simplier to write a review as there is only so much you can say.
I enjoyed an unhurried birthday lunch with a friend - we ended up spending 3.5 hours there. The food was excellent and the service attentive but not intrusive. The cost of the special offer lunch can add up though by the time wine and coffee is added. However, I would still recommend Cote
Welcome was good. Service excellent and the food was delicious. The Kir Royals served at the beginning of the meal was an added bonus. Well done Cote.
Again Cote nails it. Yet another excellent experience at one of their establishments. Went for the Prix Fixe at lunchtime, calamari to start, croque monsieur and frites for main and the trusted legendary crème caramel followed by Coffee and great service made an ordinary Friday lunchtime a most enjoyable couple of hours. Well done once again.
Food and service excellent, only spoilt by the noise - I wonder if they try to have too many tables there. Perhaps they could put some carpet or matting on the floor.
Good quality food, service and value. Having tried several venues of this chain the Wimbledon one appears to be the best Cote we have used.
Overall are nice Everyone enjoy the meal and service Only set meal steak overdone and too thin. Waitress and the waiter are working hard Thanks
The staff are friendly and the food is too a high standard. One too add to the list of great places to eat in Wimbledon. Recommend the Tarte au Citron.
We visited early Monday lunchtime so it was very quiet when we arrived which meant we were better looked after than on previous visits. The food was delicious and reasonably priced. Overall another good experience at Cote.
We ordered from the A La Carte menu as we had a complimentary bottle of wine as a welcome to Cote Rewards. Excellent Tuna Nicoise and Chicken and Walnut salad. The Wimbledon venue has a great atmosphere.
Food excellent and reasonably priced Service was a little slow but allowed for conversation which was great. It was my husbands birthday so the complimentary dessert was a nice touch! Thank you x
Excellent food and service. Lovely afternoon. Chicken parfait was exceptional and sirloin steak was cooked to perfection. Creme brulee was beautiful and thoroughly good experience
It was easy to book, easy to book, The staff were pleasant and helpful. The food was good and great value for money and I liked the wine list.
Food is generally really good as is the value for money. Service also is generally great however more recently meat is being over cooked. .
No wait for the table to be ready. Excellent service despite restaurant being busy as it was a bank holiday, we had breakfast and the food was lovely!
The food was delicious tasty and well cooked. The staff are friendly and charming and the atmosphere delightful and really buzzy. Always a pleasure dining at Cote Wimbledon.
Good value as always for 2 or 3 course lunch. Starters and Mains menu choices this visit not that easy to match up. Pear/chicory/goats cheese salad delicious. Smoked haddock main too much sauce & potato to fish, but tasty. Lovely well chilled house white wine. Slightly pushy upselling of side/extras, but on the whole service good and speedy.
Delicious food and courteous staff, my only criticism is how noisy and crowded the restaurant was. It wouldn't put me off returning but would make me consider who I would take there.
All the Cote restaurants are so consistently nice. Good service, great food and a nice atmosphere. The staff at the Wimbledon branch or always friendly and helpful, that and the consistent quality being the main reasons I keep going back.
What a lovely meal out- the food was delicious and the presentation was great. Super Service- very friendly and efficient. We will be going back soon!
We had a tablenbooked for a family, really enjoyed our food, very very good. And also service was excellent. The restaurant has a good vibe and atmosphere
Excellent food and service. The waiter was very attentive and went out of his way to ensure all our requests were met. Will definitely be back!
Consistently good, always tasty food and lovely staff. We all had the 3 course set menu which is excellent value. The chocolate pot is to die for!
