Côte Wimbledon

Excellent service and great food for reasonable price. We go there at least once a week and now perhaps go there for lunch as well

Food was very good, however the service could have been slicker if the Management had booked sufficient staff to cope with the service. The waiter staff did their best, but were placed on undue pressure throughout the lunch service dUE to insufficient numbers. We experienced a similar issue on our previous visit and my hope is that this issue will be resolved for our next visit. Thank you.

Great food, the staff are very attentive as in all Cotes, the place is really nice and not too far away from New Wimbledon Theatre

Always excellent, great food and perfect service. Can't fault it as the quality is first rate. In fact as someone who has eatbe in most of londons steak restaurants it's rare to find a better steak than cote

Great food. Great service. The service alone will make us go back. Mussels were excellent as a starter. The steak special was also cooked to perfection. I don't normally say that!

Unhurried, good food and wine and more than a fair price. Selection of starters varied and nothing on the menu that wasn't available. Cote always fails to disappoint!

This was my second visit to Cote Bistro in Wimbledon Village and I would definitely recommend it restaurant to family and friends. The menu selection is very good; the food is piping hot and the service is excellent.

Always great food and lovely staff who are great with kids. Good value with a Sunday £10.95 steak and chips. Reminds me of being in France.

The food was good ...the service was good ...so over all good! We had a very enjoyable evening and are looking forward to going back soon.

Good fairly simple food delivered with courteous, friendly and attentive service. Accoustics of restaurant mean that when it is full general noise level is rather excessive.

Quickly shown to our table on arrival, attentive but unobtrusive service, change of vegetable requested on a Set Menu dish - no problem, food delicious. All round a lovely lunch for my friend's birthday.

Cote is a favourite of ours as the food is really good, no matter whether it's brunch, lunch or dinner! The service can be a little slow at times with minor errors but on the whole they're great!!

Great food and service. Nice French courses, we especially liked the half chicken and deserts. Very courteous and unobtrusive service. We will be returning for sure.

My starter (frisee with lardons) was ridiculous. Very small tiny 3 pieces of lardons. They should change it for something different.or add something else like goats cheese...and not the egg

Excellent friendly service as usual, we are always made welcome at this restaurant. It has a good varied menu of tasty and competitively priced food. We shall look forward to our next visit.

Very enjoyable dinner, great atmosphere,friendly staff. The food was delicious. We had a delicious steak, my wife had the fish in lentils followed by the frozen berries. The tart au citron was a great finale. We enjoyed the complimentary bottle of Cote de Rhone.

Food (we had brunch) was pretty ok, as in nothing amazing but all done well enough. The restaurant stunk of burnt toast for some reason (maybe because of the toaster in the bar). 3 stars because service was very inattentive - shouldn't have been effort to get seated, get served, pay the bill etc.

Fabulous time catching up with two friends. Waitress helped us sneak in 2 glasses of bubbles before the boys arrived. Great food - starter, mains and desert spread out with drinks and much laughter. Wonderfully relaxed (non pushy) helpful service... relaxing sunday afternoon lunch. Seriously excellent service. Perfect... only minor gripe is we reckon the (shared) creme brulee had too much (too deep) custard... others may like it like that!

Welcoming Kir Royales, complimentary for my birthday. Good choice on menu, and food very good quality and value for money. Portions just right. I hate feeling stuffed after a mean. Lovely decor.

Good value, good service. Altogether a pleasurable experience. It is a busy restaurant but not too noisy and crowded. I would choose this over other chain restaurants by far.

Always a good welcome and good food. One of our party was in a wheelchair and staff couldn't have been more helpful. Accessible disabled loo on ground floor too. Highly recommended, especially for a group, when you want a good French meal without too much fuss at a reasonable price.

Côte Wimbledon is consistently good. Staff are friendly ,menu varied and food is always excellent and good value. Looking forward to our next visit already !!

Arrived early so had very attentive service. The menu offered a good choice of food which arrived promptly. It was freshly cooked and delicious. Good value for money.

The food was very good although two of my guests said the starters and the their steaks were not very hot. The main complaint was the Cote rewards wine/chose of food. A charming waiter came over and said that our booking showed the we were entitled to a bottle of wine, and I asked if we had to choose from any specific menu and he said no. He bought our wine and water immediately. Shortly after that a manager(?) came over and said that a couple of the guests should choose from the a la carte menu and not the special menu, and then a waitress came over twice and said if anyone wanted to choose from the special menu had to do it PDQ. In fact, in the end all 4 of us went a la carte. The bill was produced and they said the cost of the dessert had been credited. After the initial greeting by the charming young waiter, he did not serve us at all again, and we felt that our other servers were not worth the automatic tip added to the bill and we did not pay the whole "service" amount. I suggest you offer a cheaper bottle of wine, (although we did drink that for the rest of the meal) and don't attached any conditions to it.

Good place to go. Good value and consistent. Pleasant staff who on occasion seem a little disorganised. We eat here on a fairly regular basis and will continue to do so.

Service friendly and quick, food excellent with great choice for kids too. A family treat at a reasonable price. on-iine booking a great idea too.

Great local restaurant. Weekday menu very good value with plenty to choose from and a generous three courses. Pleasant interior atmosphere and attentive staff. Will come again.

We are regulars at Côte and always enjoy it. The staff are very friendly and the food is always well cooked. The sauces are excellent, as you would expect from a French restaurant and the set meal is very reasonable.

On arrival we were shown to our table straight away. The staff were very efficient and friendly . The menu was fairly extensive and the prices reasonable. I would certainly recommend this restaurant to my friends.

Lovely food in a nice venue with delightful staff. Would have liked the whitebait just a fraction crispier but that is a minor detail. Cote always delivers.

Food was absolutely lovely, as was the ( new) waiter, who was helpful. We had two people waiting our table but service was slow. We didn't receive water although we asked twice and no cutlery for our dessert.

Very good food and service staff were attentive friendly polite and efficient. We didn't have the best table stuck behind the front door very drafty and disruptive!

We loved the menu, food and our waitress Claudia. We live in Wimbledon and would definitely visit here again and recommend to friends and family!

This was the original Cote and its still among the very best: great team attentive service very consistent. Only problem has always been low ceilings and hard furnishings mean very noisy. Good value for money. Can't over rate the team there

Good restaurant with straightforward but tasty menu. Go before 7pm for early evening supper deal, great value for the quality of food. Will visit again soon.

The staff are extremely professional and make a point of using your name, which makes the experience very personal. The food was excellent as usual.

Service and food was excellent and good value for money. Perfect place for an informal lunch in a relaxed and informal environment. House wines are also surprisingly good.

Good choice of food on early bird menu and very good value. I like the decor in the restaurant, very easy on the eye and a great hum of voices, people enjoying themselves.
