Côte Wimbledon

Even though the staff were busy, the service was fantastic and the food equally so. Great wine pairing too and excellent value for money with set menu. It was just a lovely experience.

We are regulars because it’s the best restaurant for a quick three course meal in the area. Wimbledon village COTE stands head and shoulders above other branches because of its staff especially Thomasz who is the most welcoming and gracious man, it’s not half as good an experience when he is not working.

Had the set meal and a bottle of wine. Service and food was good and the staff were very helpful.

We are very disappointed with are visit to cote Wimbledon . The main courses arrived cold and had to be sent back. Took another 20 minutes to come back. We ordered another bottle of wine which was forgotten so had to ask again. Got tolded due to change over of kitchen staff caused the problem. So was not impressed with this.

As usual, the welcome was warm and the service very attentive. The February set menu offered new course options at extremely good value. Our choices suited us perfectly and the cuisine was delicious! I can honestly say this was the best set meal I have had in ages. The missing final star was due to the waiter who needs a little extra training.

Today we had a wonderful celebration for my friend's 80th birthday. The three of us, who taught at the same secondary school for many years and have been friends for over 40 years, meet once a month to have lunch at Cote. It was therefore an obvious choice for the celebratory meal but the staff really pulled out the stops and made the occasion VERY special, particularly because there was a bouquet of beautiful flowers and card for my friend.waiting in a stand beside our table. The food, as always, was amazing so thank you to the Cote team for coming up trumps yet again! Di Berry MBE

We have been a few times to Cote Wimbledon and each and every time we have a excellent experienced which is due to the hard working staff there. The service is second to the none and so is the food. Would high recommend.

Cote Wimbledon never lets you down. The food is always excellent, the welcome when you arrive at the restaurant and the service are first rate. The set menus are reasonably priced. These are the reasons I dine there regularly.

All the staff in the restaurant is so polite and friendly! Despite place being super busy all seems to just flow on the floor. Food - first class as always, onion soup is an absolute winner every time I dine there.

Great restaurant, really good value. Took advantage of the January offer of a free bottle of wine and the 3 courses for £19.95 and I literally had to be rolled out of the restaurant! I chose the mussels to start. It was late in the day so they were probably not as fresh as they would have been earlier, but they were nice enough nonetheless. As it's January and cutting down on meat, the main I chose was the butternut squash ravioli which was delicious. Great to have a good vegetarian option on this menu. The piece de resistance however, was most definitely the créme caramel which I'm craving as I write. I mistakenly read the menu as a creme brulée and kept asking them to put it under the grill. Thankfully they talked me out of it as it would have been annihilated! The place was filled with professionals or families with grown-up children which was a perfect setting for a mellowed out Wednesday evening.

We had an excellent dinner at Cote Wimbledon, delicious before 7pm menu, with sardines, steak and frozen berries. Very good service in this recently refurbished restaurant.

Very disappointing. Glass of Sauvignon unlike all previous experiences at Cote tasted like it was a mis mash from various bottles and was not nearly cold enough. Beouf bourginon full of grissle. Staff charming as ever but what they served tonight not up to Cote’s standards.

The food as expected was good. Sadly the seating was drafty and cold. Staff didn't seem to take the issue seriously. We have been there before with better seating so next time I'll check in advance which table is available, or we will not return

The meal choice was very good. I had fish stew and my partner had boeuf bourgignon - both were very tasty. However eating and conversation was spoilt by the fact the tables are very close together and also very small.

Lovely experience. Good atmosphere & great value for money. Will be back.
