Côte Wimbledon

The restaurant has Very nice food and waiters. :) Good quality and nice atmosphere for couples or groups. I recommend it. I arrived before my booking time and they arranged a time anyway.

We had the Prestige set menu for lunch today and it was excellent. The waiter was very good, he served us very quickly with suggestions of wine with the meal and checked with us from time to time that everything was to our satisfaction. We were very impressed with the service.

I felt sorry for the waitress as she only started 3 days ago and it was obvious she needed more training on the ordering iPad as she couldn’t find the dishes we ordered and I had to do it for her. She was in herself lovely helpful and charming efficient but I feel she should have a mentor. Food excellent. I should have been told that extra chocolate sauce for the berries was 1.45 that was a rip off

We had the Valentines special. A very well balanced menu with matched wines. Huge fun, excellent food and wine. Very good value. We will be back

The food was good with a good choice. Our table was next to the area where the glasses were kept so there was a lot of loud clattering. The waitress was a little abrupt. The speed of arrival of our chosen dishes was very quick. Overall a very nice experience.

Our favourite place for brunch or lunch. Great staff, polite, efficient and friendly. Food was good, coffee great and mum always enjoys her hot chocolate. We always feel well looked after thank you ! 😊

The normally delicious porkbelly was not cooked long enough and the crackling was not crisp. I was compensated,but i would tather have had a well ooked meal. My creme caramel was as usual perfect. The complimentary drink was fresh and delicious.. I will certainly keep using Cote as it is one of my favorite restaurants.

Love the ambience, the staff are great, attentive without feeling like they’re standing by your shoulder. Food is always good. The waiting time is perfect, not to slow but equally not to fast.

The meal had to be cancelled due to electrical problems. You need to sort out your review system. Poor to say the least. Hope you do better next time

Excellent restaurant. We go at least 2-3 times a month. We tried the March specialty, monkfish and was superb!!! As well as the beef bourginon. Great variety every month.

Great food, great service and lovely ambiance. Always made to feel welcome, the staff seem to appear when required without being overbearing. A lovely experience.

Dreadful. Meals wrong. Since when did the meals on your a la carte not be the same as the set meal! Risotto Vert arrived, one with asparagus, two without (no mention of asparagus on either menu). And the set meal person got the a la carte version - but how was anyone meant to know that one! One with pesto in it and two without! Staff seemed stressed as this has clearly happened before. They did their best, but the late main course didn't help. Really disappointed as second poor meal at the Wimbledon branch. Staff are helpful and tried to correct, but a paltry discount means we won't return. As local Mums it was one of our preferred but we're off to the Giggling Squid next time. Poor show Cote you're better than that, or so I thought.

We have been going to Cote Wimbledon for years and the food and service has always been excellent. Unfortunately today there were some issues with the two starters and one of the desserts. The staff are always keen for feedback which was provided. Despite the disappointment this time the Manager was superb in dealing with the problems and he took appropriate and much appreciated action to rectify the matter.

I would have given full marks for food and service apart from one thing. The use of iPad order taking seems to have taken away some of the personal touch/ability to have an informed discussion about the food. Several times during our order we asked questions or wanted to have a specific request but computer said no. This really brought down the experience and felt like we were ordering at MacDonalds rather than a good quality restaurant. When paper ordering happened you could say things like can I have it medium rare with emphasis on medium. And you’d get you’re steak cooked exactly that way, one of the things I loved about Cote. Now when asking this we got a ‘lecture’ on the cooking terms for steak quite insulting, we know these, we just wanted to give the chef a little more info. Have to be honest now food is ordered via iPad with no ability to have a discussion about how it comes, the MacDonalds feeling I’m left with has put Cote down my list for my steak fix. It used to be top, shame as food when it arrived was really good as usual.

The Wimbledon branch of Cote is the original and still very much the best. The welcome, service, delicacy of touch in the cooking - are all outstanding. I go every week and the way they keep up this high standard, on such a consistent basis, is truly admirable.

We usually go to Cote in Farnham where we live. But we went to the Wimbledon one for a birthday celebration and it was as good. Impeccable service!

Every time we eat here I am so happy, I am so filled up and I am so full of good food and gluttonous feelings. Classically good French menu, delivered very well and for a very good price. I simply can not fault it. The wines are always good and the two of us always ending up polishing off 2 bottles. Great service and good smiles. Always my go-to. 9.5/10 👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼

Very good food, but took 15mins for us to be offered a drink, plus only bought us our complimentary drinks when we asked, which finally came after we had been served our wine. The waiting staff seemed overstretched and unable to give us a minimum of attention, I noted they were having to prepare their own drink orders which was taking them away from service. Such a shame as the food is actually very good.

I have been to the Wimbledon Cote a few times and I want to commend one of you staff members. His name is Matt and he is a fabulous member of your staff and I wanted to let Cote know. He is very professional and he is so consistently good at his job.

Staff, especially Byetta always helpful. She always remembers our little group and is really friendly. She is the member of staff who always keeps us going back for members of our groups celebrations.

This is just the best brasserie of it’s kind - in my humble opinion! Consistently excellent food, service and ambience. One further indication of its excellence is the fact that Côte was full on a Wednesday evening.

Food was good. One thing I would just politely point out is that when asking whether the food was ok, it is good service not to interrupt conversation where possible . Our waitress was a touch unfriendly

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our visit to Wimbledon Cote. Food and service as usual were superb and speedy. We had the crab mayonnaise, french onion soup, pork belly and Pan fried Haddock with extra sides. All arrived piping hot and delicious. Well done team Wimbledon, keep it up!
