Great food, great service and great company! The brunch was so so delicious and the deal for a hot drink, juice and cooked breakfast offer was good value for money.

Our party of three enjoyed our meals (Table d'hote lunch). I had whitebait, steak frites (accompanied by an agreeable glass of Merlot) and a chocolate pot with creme freche. Service prompt and courteous with a light touch. We did find it noisy, and found the narrow staircase to the toilets, on which one encounters waiters bearing laden trays, less than ideal, but would willingly put up with those little problems and look forward to my next visit.

Very comfortable ambience and attentive service. Absolutely delicious food expertly cooked and attractively presented without pretentiousness. Deserts are to die for - the chocolate mousse was the best I've ever tasted and my fiancee swooned over the creme caramel.

We used the branch In Old Amersham High Street, to enjoy a great breakfast experience. A relaxed but professional atmosphere, with pleasant staff and excellent, slightly unusual food choices. Well done Cote!

Shockingly poor service combined with average food. Waited 5 minutes for someone to greet me at the front desk and finally met by a ridiculously over the top, but well meaning, manageress. We ordered Haddock which was overcooked. We had made a reservation for 8 of us to go their in April but will now cancel.

Good varied menu and attentive appropriate service by our waiter. We chose a table that from experience avoided noise levels that are difficult in some parts of this restaurant.

Very popular restaurant, the staff were rushed off their feet as every table was occupied. We were having lunch with friends so it didn't matter that lunch took 2 hours, however not the place to go if you wanted a quick lunch. Food and value for money really good which is why its so popular.

Good food, great service. Just a little disappointed that I missed the "optional" service charge that was included in the bill, and thus paid twice for that element.

Good food well cooked. Service is French style with reasonable gap between courses. Wine list exclusively French which is a shame. We would definitely visit again.

Good food and great service. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. Good choice from the a la carte and specials menus. Wine card had a good range to choose from. A draft beer would be a good addition.

We had hot Pea soup and Frisée Lardons to start followed by Minute Steak(pink) and Breaded Butterfly Chicken, both with sides of French beans. All were excellent and we asked the waitress to pass our compliments to the Chef. We both said we will definitely come back soon. With two glasses of wine and a bottle of French beer, the bill came to £54 with tip, which we both agreed was good value. If I am going to be picky the waitress who showed us to our table was a bit casual about dropping the menus on the table and then walked in front of me as I was going to move to my seat. The other staff were very good and friendly.

As always a great value lunch at a Cote restaurant. From the moment you arrived the staff make you feel welcome. They are very attentive and ensure your food arrives promptly. The menu is excellent and the food delicious, no wonder that they are always busy! Cote never disappoints .

The staff are very welcoming, the restaurant has a lively but relaxed vibe and the food is of a very high standard. Have eaten there 3 times in 9 days! The creme caramel is simply the best dessert I have ever tasted. Highly recommend.

The food was very good but the service was slow. People who came in after us got their food before us. I was brought a Creme Caramel instead of a Creme Brûlée because the blow torch was not working. I would have preferred it if I was asked what I would like instead. We were given our coffee and dessert "on the house" because of the food being so long and the dessert.

The welcome and service at the restaurant was good. The food was very average and the low ceilings meant it was very noisy and difficult to have a conversation. Value for money on the set menu is good but the food and noise would put me off from returning.

We had a great table (noisy neighbours), but a superb waiter to start with. Food was good as always, although my veal escalope was a little to rare for me. Unfortunately the waiter must have left as we were having the main course. Then the service went downhill and there was no-one to be seen to ask for the bill, so I eventually got up and went to the desk and waited for a waiter, who gave me the bill and I paid. He then had to go to another till to process my payment and he brought me the change. I would like to think that it was just an unfortunate evening.

Lovely French restaurant in the beautiful old town of Amersham. The food was delicious with good sized portions and great service. They have a dedicated gluten free menu which is great and just as comprehensive as the normal menu. Well worth a visit

This is a great restaurant - lively and popular. The food was good and Excellent value for money. I met 3 friends for an early dinner and we had the 3 course special. None of us could believe how cheap the bill was - with a glass of wine each and coffee it was £22 per head. Service was good and the staff were attentive without being in your face. Would definitely recommend.

In the USA you have a choice of 10%, 12% or 15% gratuity. Here it's 12.5% fixed. Don't have a problem with that, little bit naughty. Staff very pleasant.

Took 2 friends who had not been before. Had nice table by the window (inside at the back can get noisy). They really enjoyed the food and atmosphere (best creme brulee ever was one comment). They took a card as they wanted to return and sample more of the menu.

Cote in Amersham is reliable though not particularly exciting. The food is fine and the menu is fairly extensive so there plenty of choice - something for everyone. The service is good.
