Great food and service. The Breton Chicken was excellent. Wine also very good. Staff were welcoming and friendly. My family enjoyed it.We will be back!

Such amazing staff and gorgeous affordable food. You get a lot better than you pay for. It was a great experience and we got free prosecco for my birthday!

I was greeted on arrival and then left standing on my own while a table was attended to. Despite the fact that I had booked several days in advance the table for two I was allocated was in line with the door which was constantly opening and allowing in a cold draught so I moved myself and my friend to another one. The main course was overcooked but not very warm, and the dessert which should have been warm was nearly cold. However, the waitress service was friendly and helpful and we were not charged for the dessert. As a Cote Rewards member I go to Cote restaurants in several parts of the country, and this experience was a very disappointing one.

Very good service and very good food everytime we go there. I would like, however, to be more vegetarian options if possible as there is a very very limited choice.

Everything about Cote Amersham is first class. Our last visit was particularly good. The service was attentive and competent, the food was really excellent. The fish was cooked to perfection, and, unlike a number of other restaurant visits recently, the vegetables were just right. So many modern restaurants seem to think that heated but still raw vegetables are 'al dente' when you can't even get a steak knife into them. Thankfully the chefs at Cote are getting it just right. In all we had a very satisfactory experience.

My sirloin steak was returned twice as they were half fat and gristle. The manageress replaced the order with a free fillet steak which helped.

Two menu items were not available, but substitutes offered were quite acceptable. Service was slow to start, but the overall experience was very good as usual.

Starter was wrongthen when correct one came it was cold (I mean really cold, soup so quite unpleasant), rest of meal was lovely and service was ok.

Overall excellent food and service. Could hardly hear ourselves speak though at times as it was very busy and noisy. Will definitely make a return visit.

This was our first visit and we were delighted with the whole experience. The lunch menu was comprehensive and had a good variety of choices. The food was delicious and well presented. The service was friendly if a little slow as the restaurant was very busy. But we will certainly go there again!

Nice eating out experience discovered by chance. Staff attentive but not too so. Food always excellent, what's not to like. Have recommended this restaurant to friends.

The quality of the food and service was very good. However,as a matter of principle, I strongly object to having to withdraw acceptance of an imposed "optional" and rather inflated gratuity automatically added to the bill. The decision to provide a gratuity and the degree of one's generosity is the customer's prerogative based on one's experience and not the restaurant's management automatic right to assume.

Very pleasant staff but slow service. A main component of my salad was missing ( avocado). I received a nice apology and the cost of the dessert was taken off the bill. I would return. A pleasant ambience. ( window table, requested on booking)

As always the food is good and the staff are wonderful can't wait for my next visit Which I am sure will be within the next few weeks looking forward to the new April menu

A very busy restaurant in Beautiful Old Amersham. Our guests from London were full of praise for the food and service, the only downside was the noise levels with so many happy diners.

Arrived for our reservation at 6 - no recognition of our request for a booth. Service then very slow- waited for 15 minutes to place drink order and only after many attempts to attract attention. Then again had to try several attempts to get someone to take our order. Two of us ordered saucisson but no bread was delivered with it- also the saucisson still had the skin left on it - not pleasant: more delay to get th bread! However, once the main courses were delivered (quite promptly) and as the restaurant filled up the service improved to the standard we have experienced in the past. Food was good and staff, as ever, very pleasant.

Warm welcome and very prompt, friendly service. Set menu offered a great choice. Food well presented and piping hot - steak/frites and seafood linguine both excellent. Creme caramel to die for! With two courses, plus a glass of wine each and coffees to follow it came to just over £43 inc. gratuity for two - v.good value.

This was a Mothers day meal, the service was pleasant and attentive and not hurried at all. The food was very good. A very enjoyable meal.

Very pleasant staff and a good choice of food which was nicely cooked. A free bottle of wine inticed us to go, which had to be signed up for online. We were told on arrival that this offer can't be used with the lunch time specials but we were happy to choose from main menu however, when bill came we'd been charged for wine! Easily corrected tho and generally a nice experience.

The first course came really quickly but the second was slow. The food was delicious, when it came. They could not meet my request for a window table and thought the table was for 2 not three. Friendly staff,whom I would have tipped, but I don't like it when the tip is automatically included in the bill, as I'm never sure who gets it. I don't get the loyalty scheme- too complicated. I didn't get my free bottle of wine, as we didn't order the right things! Sounds as if I I can get it next time.

It is not in my nature to deliver plaudits but I have to say I was very impressed, not only with the quality of the food but also the presentation, and especially the staff who clearly enjoyed being there serving with professionalism and good humour.

Staff were very friendly and made us feel welcomed. Both my husband and I ordered duck breast for main course. Unfortunately the duck was very tough. We mentioned this to the waitress and she said that she would tell the chef.

We visited on a Tuesday lunchtime. There was a nice atmosphere in the restaurant, excellent service and good choice on the menus. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and food was hot and served up very quickly.

This was an early Mother's Day treat hosted by my daughter. We had a very tasty double starter of mussels and whitebait which we shared and then chose sea bream and steak frites. The fish was cooked perfectly and the steak just a little overdone (so ask which side of medium you would prefer!) We finished with chocolate pot and coffee. Everything was delicious, the ambience busy but relaxed, and the service was friendly and attentive. I won't be waiting for another Mother's Day before I return!

Restaurant very busy so they were running an hour behind on reservation times but all was good as looked after by the manager and team whom were very apologetic so therefore good customer service even though waited an hour.

Cote Brasserie in Old Amersham is always a pleasure to visit. Great staff and service and really yummy food. You will not be disappointed. Just go !!

Consistent as usual although this was my first visit to this branch. Nice feel to the place although acoustics aren't brilliant, but we did have a bit of a party group quite close by

Great food and service at Cote Amersham tonight. The artichoke starter was delicious and the steak to follow was cooked perfectly. We will return for another dinner soon.
