Food excellent. Service attentive and friendly but a minor mistake with wrong drinks involved paying for something we did not order

Lovely to be back at Cote. Our visit was on the 2nd day of the reopening and was well organised. All staff wearing face shields and plenty of hand sanitisers available. The food was good even though some dishes were already no longer available by 7.30pm. The service was speedy and faultless. Keep up the good work!

Fabulous food and brilliant service - especially considering how busy the restaurant (which only added to the enjoyment of dining. Saftey measures observed well and 4 perfectly cooked steaks were enjoyed by all. Well done team it was worth the wait :)

A pleasure to eat out again! Good service with a really different food offering, great. I was though a bit surprised at the apparent lack of table separation! A very busy evening with tables of 2,3 & 4 people but not separated, to my mind, more than pre-covid? Your comments Cote would be welcomed.

Only 3 Stars because our issue was with social distancing which didn't work coming into and out of the restaurant. There was was nowhere for peorple to wait whilst their tables were being prepared. This had an impact on the people leaving and just a few of the smaller tables at the front. Only one way in and the same way out. All staff wearing visors. Otherwise, a great experience as usual

We missed our regular visits to Cote in Old Amersham during the COVID9 close down and returning for diner yesterday helped to bring us closer to 'normal'. The staff were their usual helpful and smiling selves. The food was great and the overall experience felt safe and relaxed. We have booked a table in September to bring friends who are visiting, what more can we say!!!

A charming space, with very friendly and helpful staff. The food was delicious and measures for Covid-19 were sensible, but not intrusive. A really good night out and a memorable experience.

I always enjoy dinner at Côte, but unfortunately I was quite disappointed tonight. Whilst it was nice to have the eat out scheme applied to our bill, my steak was very tough and over cooked for a fillet steak, the mash potato was dry and had no flavour. The garlic bread that my friend and I shared was so hard I couldn’t even get my knife through it let alone teeth. Usually I am the first to suggest going to Côte for a delicious dinner but after tonight my friends aren’t so sure on whether they want to go back which is such a shame. I didn’t want to give negative feedback at the table, as the table next to us were complaining but I have to say that the food was very average tonight unfortunately.

The welcome was warm as we were the first customers since lockdown...the food was excellent...social distancing in place...would recommend a visit.

The food from the adult menu was very nice. Especially the heritage tomato salad and lobster. However we had to complain about the pasta from the children menu because it was very salty. To be fair to the management of the restaurant we were offered a replacement dish and the pasta was taken off the bill. The restaurant was quite busy thus had bustling atmosphere like before the lockdown. The waiting staff were wearing face shields, tables and seats were wiped after each customer so we felt safe and comfortable. The service was a bit slow but it was the first night after reopening so I can understand that. All in all, very enjoyable evening.

We have just thoroughly enjoyed a delicious, positively delicious lunch! The food was really tasty and superbly presented. The staff were very welcoming and attentive yet not intrusive. We also benefitted from the Government’s scheme, which was an added bonus. We will return ASAP! Thank you all. 😋

As always the service was first rate. The food was delicious and the added touch of complimentary birthday fizz for the four of us and a candled desert for our birthday guest made the occasion even more special.

Mother’s Day dinner, so expected it to be busy, but waiting time between courses was still too long. Asked for bill from two staff, both forgot, hence even longer wait. Food was good, as expected from Cote, and the set menu was excellent value. Due to Cote’s usual reliability to deliver a great dining experience in the past, think this time is only an occasional hiccup.

My husband and I love Cote. You always know you will get good service, good food and it is not going to break the bank. Tonight we loved the pork belly, meltingly soft but with crunchy, crispy skin mmmmmm!

Pleasant atmosphere and very good value. Pity it doesn't have a garden. The complimentary cocktails were excellent. Worth coming on a regular basis, almost as nice as Windsor or Marlow.

Had the roast belly of pork. I had it on my previous visit & the crackling was amazing. Yesterday it was soggy & inedible. I did mention this & was told it was only put under the salamander to keep warm! My friends had the asparagus risotto & loved it. The staff were lovely.

Above and beyond for my daughters 15th Birthday family dinner. Food was great, staff super friendly and extras way more than expected. Thank you so much for making my girl smile!

As usual an excellent meal served by attentive staff. Excellent value menu. It doesn't matter whether you want a quick supper to save time or a celebration meal or a pleasant evening á deux - Côte Brasserie always delivers! Thanks for being there.

Lovely atmosphere and really friendly and efficient staff. The steak tartare was particularly gorgeous! Reasonably priced and great location. The staff made a fuss of me as it was my birthday - which was really sweet. :-)

Service is brilliant... food could be improved, ours was slightly cold and the steak a bit too dry. I would certainly go back soon though!!!!

Have had better main courses before. However overall a good meal and well looked after by the manager. We will return in the near future
