Service was excellent but my starter was odd. Tepid boudain noir with a cold poached egg. Not quite what I had in mind from the menu.

The food and service was brilliant here. I would certainly recommend this particular cote especially for business meetings. Quick service - food tasted great - atomosphere was calm and relaxing but not too quiet so you could hold a full conversation in confidence.

As usual, excellent food and exemplary service. Great for pre-concert eating when you have limited time. Speedy service without ever getting the feeling of things being rushed.

Côte never disappoints. Consistently good food, and perfect friendly service. I am a fairly regular customer at a variety of Cotes: Barbican,Dorking,Cobham,Guildford and can honestly say I have never had a bad meal or anything other than excellent service. Our waiter at the Barbican last evening was delightful and even gave us a complimentary Kir Royale.

We were immediately welcomed and the lady prepared our table promptly after asking where we would like to be seated. Our orders were taken promptly, but the food order took a while to arrive for which we were not harged for our bread and butter. All in all, a good meal. My roast duck breast was very good. A food value meal.

Cote is an excellent chain, delivering delicious food. The menu choices are varied and provide good value, and the quality and quantity are consistently high. I will visit again.

Our first time at this location. Every bit as good as our regular branch in Guildford. High quality value for money food, excellent service and a great overall atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit.

Warm welcome, neither our two waitresses smiled as they seemed busy or distracted. The mackeral starter was very small, main course good. Speedy service but lacked warmth.

excellent pre-theatre dinner experience. Staff very attentive and friendly, thank you all. Enjoy trying the specials menu as by now the we are familiar with the a la carte. Also free cocktail was a winner and the reason we decided to eat out

Lovely food and friendly waiting staff. Service a little slow for the main course, which led to a little anxiety as we were attending a concert and no time for dessert!

Always fairly consistent food at Cote. Salmon starter was OK though the leaves were tired and looked like they'd been out a few hours.Sourdough was a bit measly. Fairly attentive staff though had to be asked a couple of times for an extra glass and other stuff. Breton chicken v good and moist and fries were topnotch (always a good sign)

We had 3 courses from the pre theatre menus, the food was excellent. The service was polite, efficient and with a smile. The quality price ratio was excellent.

Naughty! The Prestige menu is automatically displayed with no reference to the standard set menu. We had the prestige and a la carte and enjoyed it immensely, but....

We have eaten at Côte Barbican many times but today the service was very poor. Our waitress had to be asked twice for a gluten-free menu, bread & cutlery. It could barely be described as service I’m sorry to say. We did however, enjoy our food.

Excellent food. A good choice of menu and a good wine list. Staff were unfailingly polite and helpful. The specials menu was exactly that with some excellent options. No complaints. Thoroughly enjoyed an unhurried meal.

Service was friendly and helpful, food tasty, unfortunately the French onion soup was not very warm and the mash with my main course was completely cold. They did apologise, plus give us a discount and free chips... :), But obviously food should have been hit in the first place!

Service when we arrived was slow. Apple tart pastry was so tough the staff offered to replace it with an alternative dessert but no-one came to take the order. Not your usual standard!
