Friendly efficient service. Excellent meal. Enjoyed the bottle of Chardonnay especially. Will definitely be back and will tell all my friends it is a very good place to eat
Lovely well thought out food. Good value. Super staff Hope to be back once the world has recovered
The Mushroom Brioche on the pre-theatre menu was very disappointing. The brioche was rather sweet for a savoury dish, and there were about 2 tablespoonfuls of luke-warm mushroom sauce containing 4 very small and thin slices of mushroom. This dish needs a re-think. On the other hand, the Pork Navarin and the a la carte Tarte Fine aux Pommes were both excellent, as was the service (the only blip being that I was brought the wrong dessert and had to wait a bit for the right one!).
We liked our visit at barbican very much. Food was very good also the service.
5 * food and service. Waitress and manager ..... support these guys
On arrival I showed the waitress my phone message from you that as it was my birthday I was entitled to a free glass of Kir Royale. This I received but when presented with the bill I was charged for it. This was then adjusted. However this does show a lack of professionalism on the part of your Company.
We didn't - after 20 minutes of being ignored we walked out - not the Birthday meal I was hoping for
Our visit to Barbican was very good. The food was very good and lso the service.
I always enjoy going to a Cote Brasserie. The menu changes regularly and several times I have eaten my way through the choices. The staff are courtesy and friendly, do not pressure you to leave even when they are busy and try to give you good service.
Great meal and service I had the pork belly and crab mayonnaise.
We always enjoy the food at the Cote, very good Value and nicely presented.
We had a very nice lunch today at the Barbican Cote Brasserie. We were a party of 13 and had pre ordered our food. We only had an hour and a half in which to eat, but all our food came quickly and efficiently. Everyone enjoyed their dishes, it was all very tasty and well presented. Our waitress and the rest of the staff were really helpful. Thank you all very much.
I love cote. I find it strange but a meal I have dozens of times in another branch did not taste the same. Less flavoursome. I thought it was just me until afterwards my friend said the same. Also great location for going to the Barbican but despite being a chain other venues feel more personal .
We had a fantastic meal at Cote Barbican. Our waiter was polite, friendly and attentive. Whilst dining we witnessed a man become ill due to his diabetes. He was dining with his wife. The Manager (Vincenzo) was absolutely superb. He stayed with the couple comforting the lady and ensuring that the gentleman was assisted properly by bringing suitable drinks/food to enable him to recover. All this was done with minimal fuss. We were so very impressed with the care shown that we asked our waiter for the managers name so we could write in and praise him. Our waiter also told us it was a lovely place to work as all the staff were very kind and friendly! Well done to the whole team - we had a fantastic time and witnessed true kindness which is so nice to see in today’s world!!
Lovely meal with great staff. We will definitely be coming back. Great for a pre-concert meal.
A very pleasant visit on a cold and wet night. A nice ambience and great service. Food excellent.
Always a pleasure to visit Cote Barbican; the two-course lunch deal is excellent value for money and was delicious. And service was charming as ever.
First-class service; excellent food and wine; we shall definitely return
Very pleasant environment, conveniently situated, efficient staff and good, good-value food.
We did have a very good time at Barbican. The food was also good as also the service was very good
I have been a customer for a decade and its fabulous for a pretheart menu as I use, staff are on the ball Food is right,I recon the atmosphere is European cafe, just what I need. Its clean, plates, & cutlery clean. Which is more than I can say for the WC its in need of a refit,as is it all .A great place, but in need of some TLC .THE Staff get 12.5% good I make. Regards Aj
Unusually, yesterday's food was not as good as we are accustomed to, even though all four of us selected from the Prestige menu. The French onion soup was thin and the cheese covered toasts on top were soggy at the start. Two of us had the duck confit, which was dry - possibly kept warm for too long. However, the pork fillet was superb, freshly cooked. Staff were thin on the ground. Was it changeover time? There was a long gap between first and second course. This too is unusual.
Would recommend - attentive staff and they do a great rare steak! :)
Thank you for giving us all Feb cocktails much appreciated!
It was nice,it would be betten if service was faster
One of my favourite restaurants. Love the food and service. Recently celebrated my birthday at Barbican branch with a very crazy loud large group. Servers were all lovely, polite and accommodating. Thank you.
We often use Cote, especially when we travel to London by rail from our home here in North Norfolk as it is easy to access Liverpool Street Station from the restaurant. Moreover, the food and service is always good at the Barbican. However, we have found Cote in Bury-St-Edmunds and Norwich to be equally good on the food side.
Great meal at the Barbican before our show. Food was amazing, service was impeccable. Creme Caramel omg 😍
Great location for Barbican. Staff very pleasant and helpful. Quick service. Good atmosphere. Good choice of food, cheap menus available and catered for allergies very well.
Stylish brasserie a stone's throw from the Barbican centre. Charming staff and very reasonably priced good food.
Good ambience and good value for money. Dishes were tasty, but a little too salty.
The service, the food & drinks, and the overall atmosphere were just great!
The service was great as always, but the food was disappointing. Everything seemed as if it had been cooked earlier and either kept on a hot plate, or reheated, as was dry and overdone.
We went with the express intention of having a crepe complet for Shrove Tuesday Unfortunately we had misunderstood the Cote bulletin, and the complet was only intended by them to be served as a breakfast dish....sad faces from us, but as usual with Cote, their staff were great and the chef gave us the crepes we wanted. We've been going to Cote for a long time to various locations around London, and they never disappoint - great food at a reasonable price, and we are always taken care of by great staff.
Not too busy, this evening. The place has been almost overwhelmed in recent visits with service and food not as well done, as usual... which left me Preferring to leave zero rather than poor comments. Happy this evening with service and the food, presentation and quality, back up to scratch.
Service was too slow for the light lunch/early dinermenu, and the restaurant was far from full. Started arrived tepid.
Very enjoyable family birthday supper with excellent service for child as well as adults
Another good experience at Cote Barbican. The staff here cannot do enough.
At first not so noisy but as the tables filled up we got a very loud group beside is
Ideal food and service for a Monday night supper just what we needed
