Very friendly and personable service and excellent food (I had the salmon and ratatouille- highly recommended!). It was a really cold day so we were glad to be in a cosy place for lunch with a buzzy atmosphere. We were celebrating a special event and it was lovely to have this acknowledged by our waiter! Can’t fault this restaurant! Thank you

Poor service we had to find the manager to follow up our main course as we had been forgotten. He did apologise and reduce our bill but we were not impressed. A shame as we had good experiences before. The food when it arrived was nice

All three courses were excellent and so was the wine...the staff were really friendly and the service was great...looking forward to the next time we're in town.

Good selection available across 3 set price menus. Food was excellent, well presented, generous portions and very tasty. Slightly noisy atmosphere but this was due to a Christmas party at another table.

A very cosy restaurant by the waterfront in the Mail box. The window seat great to look at the canal and chat. Thank you to the manager who was so kind after I booked in for an offer that I wanted around change. She was very helpful and made sure I was happy , very good service and food. We booked for 1830 mid week and had an enjoyable experience. The food was well cooked and presented and free water is provided. The staff were very pleasant and courteous. Good range of wine by the glass.

Very warm welcome on arrival; gave us choices of where we'd like to sit. They made sure we were booked in so that our booking counted towards our rewards even without us mentioning it. The food was execellent and initially service great but a massive! Party arrived and it was very loud and there was not enough staff to deal with this and us. Spoilt wvening

Food was delicious, plenty of choice on the set menu. Well cooked and well presented. Service was good for most of the meal but a bit slow at the end. Took awhile to be asked if we wanted dessert, and after the bill arrived we had to wait several minutes before someone came over to take payment.

We use this restaurant quite regularly and have never been disappointed. The food is always of a very high standard with plenty of choices. The staff are great very friendly and efficient, can't praise them enough.

Service and food at cote is always fantastic. Prawn starter and duck breast main course are my all time favourites. Lovely atmosphere in this restaurant.

The restaurant was easy to find and in an attractive setting overlooking the canal. Interestingly varied lunchtime menu. Very tasty well presented dishes and first rate speedy service. Very good value too.

Our server was great and patient with the three children aged 4 and under; very welcoming with a cheerful disposition. Food was excellent too and so was the house Rose wine.

A group of four us wanted somewhere to go for lunch, Cote looked nice and the atmosphere was good when we walked in. We were seated quickly and orders taken quickly too. The fish pie I had was simply delicious - huge king tail prawns, chunky salmon (though the salmon was a little watery) and topped with potato and gruyere cheese. Simply wonderful!

Another great meal at Cote. The quality of the food for the price is amazing. Service is first class, the staff are knowledgeable, friendly and attentive. We return here time after time.

Delightful relaxed atmosphere with delicious food Excellent service yet again

The food was very good. The only issue was a little food on the seat on arrival. However, this is the norm for most restaurants as when staff clear, clean a table they wipe onto the seats.

Staff were very helpful, polite and friendly, we were served quickly but still given time and space by the staff to look through the menu without feeling pressured. restaurant is very inviting, lovely location. Food was incredible, portions are a good size, actually felt bad for not being able to finish the meal. Would highly recommend. We did go on a Friday night so it was very busy and quiet load but that's hardly the restaurants fault, didn't affect the night, had a lovely time

Excellent quality of food and service. I have eaten at Cotevrestaurants in Leamington, Liverpool and York. Each was similarly excellent. I now look for Cote in any place I visit. The creme caramel is superb.

Absolutely beautiful food, great service as usual at Côte and a lovely atmosphere. Really enjoyed the night and will definitely go there again sometime soon.
