Had a really lovely afternoon. The food was good and the service was attentive

Food and drink excellent as usual. However on this visit we felt we were being rushed. Our waiter tried to take our plates before we had finished starters. Then the main course was delivered before we were ready and starter removed before we had finished it. Surprising because the restaurant was barely half full. When bill came it included a charge for cocktails which should haven been free. This was rectified when pointed out but unnecessary embarrassment.

Food in Birmingham is always gorgeous . It goes without saying it isn’t the food we come back for though ! It is the staff . Beth, Luke the manager and also little Luke stand out as absolute champions of the brand . They are warm friendly and always make us feel incredibly at home ! My favourite restaurant for miles around.

Thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The only criticism is that our main was brought out whilst we were still eating out starter. It felt quite rushed and we had a small table so it was difficult fitting all the plates. Other than that, very friendly staff and warm welcome. The food was lovely and complimentary martini went down a treat!

Seriously I am a great fan of your brand and although I live in Ireland I travel for business and commute frequently and eat in Westbourne Grove, Kensington, Birmingham, Harrogate and Richmond and am in awe of your model. Service is exemplary and consistent everywhere and it is obvious you set great store in training. Have eaten with you 4 times in January, normally with family and on this occasion alone. I do think your secret weapon is friendliness and you exceed all expectations in meeting, greeting and also importantly farewells. Couldn’t find fault and wish you the best in a very competitive eating environment. So refreshing your marketing is pitched where it is : resist the temptation to do silly offers as by observation one can see the appreciation of your discerning consumers. Congratulations to you all! So refreshing to see such employee participation and fully support your service charge and its distribution to staff which I feel is the crux of your success. Would love this to go to senior management as so often customers are quick to complain. Once again congratulations. If you wish to circulate this amongst staff: feel free.

We had a lovely lunch from the premier set meal, very good value and the flavours were excellent.

Though we had to wait 15 mins for table booked for 8:30, the experience at Cote (the service, waiters and food) made up for our wait! I have a lot of allergies and things I can’t eat and the waiters made it easy to be able to order what I wanted and made sure it was clear of my allergies! Also, the free complimentary bottle of wine for January was an extra treat for us! will definitely be back!!

We love this place and have been many times . This time was after a trip to London and a belated birthday treat . I booked through an offer sent directly to me by email with complimentary kir royale drinks . The food was fab as always however when the bill came they accidentally charged us for them ! Obviously once pointed out they removed them . I appreciate that money is made on drinks however we were asked 4 or 5 times if we wanted more drinks which I have to say made me feel uncomfortable

Whilst the waiting times for food and service weren’t amazing, Matt took great care of us and ensured we had a wonderful evening for my mom’s birthday. He really did give fantastic service and ensured any of our concerns were dealt with, checking back to make sure everything was in order. He is a credit to your company.

First time visiting this restaurant. So impressed. The service was outstanding and very welcoming. The food was so good, the best meal we’ve had for a long time. The menu was not your run of the mill burger, chicken or steak, way more interesting. Exceptional value for money, will definitely be returning. Give it a try, you won’t regret it.

We always have good food and service at a Cote! We had the January offer with the bottle of wine so that made it good value. There wasn't much atmosphere though. It was quite quiet so maybe that was why.

really good night out , very busy so service a little slow but nothing to spoil the evening. Food very good. 1 gripe the service charge is high ,costing us £32 tip!
