Great food, great service and delighted to be given complimentary Kir Royale’s for my boyfriends birthday
As per usual, the food was great. Unfortunately, even though it was a Monday lunch time, the service was very slow. A little disappointing I’m afraid Cote.
Very crowded and noisy - menu the same as previous cote restaurant I’ve visited In Other areas. Tables very close to each other. Prefer Cheltenham as more fine dining Bristol seemed just another place to eat
Very nice food and service but the acoustics are terrible
Wonderful place with amazing decor and the roast duck is a recommendation
It was an excellent meal my daughter her husband and two children enjoyed all of we would eat there time and time again, very good value for money
Professional friendly staff, lovely breakfast and excellent value. Everything served with a smile!
Excellent service lovely food great atmosphere, our waitress was lovely too! The only complaint I would have is I don't like the added 12.5% service charge. i would rather pay a tip of my own choosing not have this automatically added to the bill. Thanks for a great evening we will come back!
The brunch could have been served hotter. The formule breakfast is good value. Staff were friendly and helpful. The atmosphere was welcoming and lively. The noise level is high due to the lack of floor covering.
Restaurant was seriously busy, but service was excellent and food and wine as reliable as always. Gets quite hot and very noisy when full but everyone we saw seemed to be having a good time. Always good value for money and you can be sure of an enjoyable experience.
Always reliably good, with realy consistently great levels of staff service and invidiuality. Great staff service adds a great deal to the whole dining experience. Two areas where the restaurant could have improved - don't run out of stock of a promotional Negroni drink you've offered for the whole of June, halfway through June !! Someone, somewhere, has dropped a ball here. Secondly, in a climate increasngly focussed on the adverse impact of alcohol, your range of soft drinks is not great - it's OK, but not as broad as it might be for a balanced offering. However, we will keep coming back, as they have the formula right at Cote.
Great service and delicious food. Always a pleasure.Thank you to all.
We had the set menu and it was very good food at reasonable price and the service was excellent . I would definitely recommend this chain of restaurants to everyone.
I love cotes. Excellent value. The food is great & it is a relaxed place to go. However if I was being ‘picky ‘ I would suggest that the serving staff don’t lean across the table to place the food but go to each person with their plates. There was romm to do that. It was only with one course though.
We dined at Cote Clifton on Fri 5th Apr at 5.30. My wife and I ordered Boef en Croute from the Prix Fixe menu. When my wife looked under the pastry, she found one piece of meat the size of a marble. We showed the waiter who took it away and returned with a replacement which had an adequate amount meat and a replacement side of French beans. As compensation we were not charged for one of our glasses of wine. So the staff responded appropriately to the situation. The dish itself was satisfactory but the amount of beef was not generous. We have had much larger portions of blade of beef in pubs at a much lower cost. This is the first time we have eaten from the Prix Fixe menu and probably won't do so again. However, my creme caramel was excellent. We have always enjoyed eating from the A La Carte menu at Cote in Clifton and Quakers Friars and regarded it as superior to Cafe Rouge which we also enjoyed when they were in Bristol, but I think that now the standard is similar to Cafe Rouge.
Nice meal but thought there was far to little of the Savoy cabbage with the pork. I seem to remember having twice as much before. Service good as always.
Excellent food, also service was good, wine we had was also excellent.
Was a most excellent choice for a quiet Wednesday lunch on a visit back to Clifton. The food and the service was exemplary.
Had yet another great evening at Cote, the food was excellent and the atmosphere was really nice and jovial. Staff were very attentive as always and made you feel very welcome as if you were the only people on the restaurant.
Staff brilliant, food good, but very chaotic! Very busy, staff changes, orders missed, because of shortages. We still like Cote Clifton. Better next time, we are hoping!
Absolutely delicious great quality food and brilliant service. Thank you.
French onion soup great as always. Staff friendly as always.
Very much enjoyed our meal, the service was excellent, we would have preferred a table that wasn't next to the blue dividing curtain, especially as the Restaurant was quiet when we arrived. Next time we will ask to sit somewhere less claustrophobic.
Friendly staff, amazing food and great atmosphere. Never been let down when ever I have eaten, whether it’s lunch or dinner it’s Still the same great service and food
Excellent food and service as always, very family friendly and a great location
Enjoyed all 3 courses of meal Excellent inexpensive wine Good service from extremely pleasant waitress All staff very attentive Nearly always have a good experience at this branch
We feel very comfortable and welcome, the staff explained the service very efficiently. It was slightly noisy at first but we didn’t notice this after a glass of wine.
Really enjoyable evening. Good atmosphere and servic.plus excellent food and a really good bottle of Merlot - a really enjoyable evening and a wonderful way to celebrate a special birthday.
I’ve been Cote several of times and the food quality never let me down! One thing I would not recommen is the steak, I just personally do not like it.
Just what the Dr ordered. Good food as always never disappointed

Excellent food and service. Staff very knowledge regarding menu and wine list, I would highly recommend the restaurant.Wait time for food was also very good.
Great lunch with the Gang! Excellent everything! That’s why we keep coming back! Best food, service and atmosphere-well done every one involved! See you again soon JP
Staff protocol - their attentive and genuine warmness is tangible matched by the consistently excellent menu that has never failed to deliver for me and party of guests. As I suffer from tinnitus, the noise level for me in nay restaurant is challenging, especially with the cordial vibe Cote achieves.

Brilliant service as ever. Great food. Very relaxed. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. Cote is definitely one of our favourite restaurants. We will be visiting again very soon.
This restaurant is great, the staff are fantastic with kids and always welcoming. We had the chateaubriand for the dad's for father's Day, chicken and duck dishes. All good!!
Great service, very friendly, good food, great atmosphere - absolutely no complaints - what else is there to say - best Cote restaurant in the South-West
Quality of food is as good as it always is. Prices are a little high but still reasonable. Restaurant is a little noisy and tables are very close together.
Lovely food, brilliant service. We always come back as it’s always good.
This was a really enjoyable breakfast with excellent service from friendly staff
It was my partners 30th birthday which I had input on the special requests section when booking. On arrival we were both given a complimentary drink and when we ordered a pudding it came with a candle and a happy birthday message. Overall amazing service, quality of food superb and great ambiance. We have never had a bad meal at this restaurant and will soon be returning!
As always, a quality ambiance, friendly and attentive staff and delicious authentic flavours across the menu. Overall a relaxing and satisfying experience - perhaps one of the best of the chain that we know.
Very busy and a lovely atmosphere for a Monday evening at 6pm. Food was very good especially calamari, seafood pasta could have been hotter but very tasty. Service excellent
The pork belly was delicious !Great service. The tables are rather close together.
Friendly, efficient staff and a buzzing environment. The food was gorgeous. A very nice evening. Would most definitely recommend the restaurant, well worth a visit.
Had 3 course meal for £13.50. Everything we had was lovely, the service was excellent and we were seated as we had requested. It was my mother's 87th birthday and she really enjoyed her lunch experience. Would recommend and we will be back.
First class food, fantastic location & great experience. Have been to Cote Brassiere a few times and never been disappointed. Would thoroughly recommend for a great time.
Excellent service and food although very busy, well done staff
