Very crowded and noisy - menu the same as previous cote restaurant I’ve visited In Other areas. Tables very close to each other. Prefer Cheltenham as more fine dining Bristol seemed just another place to eat

Enjoyed our visit for lunch- table was located just where we had asked. The waitress was very pleasant and made our visit just perfect-well done.

Nice meal but thought there was far to little of the Savoy cabbage with the pork. I seem to remember having twice as much before. Service good as always.

Staff brilliant, food good, but very chaotic! Very busy, staff changes, orders missed, because of shortages. We still like Cote Clifton. Better next time, we are hoping!

We always enjoy dining at Cote restaurants, but particularly the one at Clifton. As usual, the staff were so kind to us and we enjoyed another delicious meal.

Good surroundings but meal size not very impressive , chose meal from Presige menu. Good service and prompt delivery. . Adequate choice on menu with good wine choice .

We always enjoy our trips to Cote Clifton and Friday was no exception. The food and wine were very good and reasonably priced. The staff are always attentive and efficient

Very pleasant, efficient staff and lovely that they did as I requested and put us in a quieter part of the restaurant. Absolute bliss that there was no piped music to compete with, at all ! The food was generally tasty and good, though the asparagus risotto was disappointing - over cooked rice and lacking in flavour. Sea bass was the best dish. It was an enjoyable outing, though, all the same.

Lovely staff as always but main course disappointing. A great veal chop ruined with a heavy sprinkling of dried tarragon and no sauce. Your a brasserie, do justice to the meat,! Whats wrong with oil, butter, dusting of flour, sage white wine and seasoning? It is quick, tasty and gives a proper sauce.

After dinning at the Cardiff cotes brassiere last year with my husband and being so impressed I was really keen to take my mum to her local cotes brassiere in Bristol! We were both really disappointed with the entrance into the building! Whilst the restaurant from the front and indeed inside is superb it is bitterly let down by the heavy curtains that adorn the lobby area! It makes it look like you are either entering a funeral parlour or a big top circus! Not a very classy look. I also feel it would of been nice to of had some delicate french music playing as my mum and I were some of the first lunch time diners in the restaurant it felt a little awkward and quite!

We had a lovely meal with family on Friday evening. Very good VFM. Attentive staff. As always a great atmosphere.

My friends chicken was rather dry! And her first course was rather more potato than cod But my meal was very good As always I love the chips

We went along for the early evening meal deal. One of our party is a vegan. She was given the vegan menu, but when she asked if this was on the offer was told, no, it's more expensive. So a) she is being penalised for being vegan and b) vegan food has no meat or dairy so we are really struggling to understand how that could end up being more expensive. It took two members of staff and much discussion around whether or not she could have the deal. It was so confusing we just gave up and think she ended up paying full price. The service was hit and miss for most of the evening - really under staffed with only a couple of waiting staff running around trying to do everything. The food is nice but the rest could do with some work.

The food choice and quality was great. The atmosphere added to the meal, even on a Saturday night. The service was on par with this, from beginning to end.

A wonderful atmosphere, food was superb and the staff were friendly and helpful. We will use Cote Brasseries again and totally recommend it. Clifton, Bristol was full on a Sunday evening, supporting our view that it is a great place to eat.

Food was nice waiter was a bit clueless didn’t bring olives when asked. Wrong food brought to the table for main. No salt and pepper on table. Service could have been better.

This restaurant is great, the staff are fantastic with kids and always welcoming. We had the chateaubriand for the dad's for father's Day, chicken and duck dishes. All good!!

It was my partners 30th birthday which I had input on the special requests section when booking. On arrival we were both given a complimentary drink and when we ordered a pudding it came with a candle and a happy birthday message. Overall amazing service, quality of food superb and great ambiance. We have never had a bad meal at this restaurant and will soon be returning!

What a wonderful place and how clever they are, as a company, to keep up the quality in this chain. Tarteflette and Boudin sausage were the specials for the month - so we had to go. Perfect! What was so special was I wanted a double portion of Boudin - to starters as a main. The chef beautifully arranged my order on a bigger plate. A true professional!

Always like our lunches here. It suits us well. I'd love the waiters to look over at our table more though. We usually wait between courses & for the bill but I know I'm usually in a rush so probably more about me!

We booked a table for 8 people. The service and atmosphere was good - as always. The only surprise was that the 3 people who had steak and chips had to return it to the kitchen as it was tough! First time that's happened to us....and we are regular visitors. Would come again as always looked after.

Waiter didn’t listen - we ordered a bottle of wine and he brought a glass - we ordered a Creme Caramel he brought a Creme Brûlée - otherwise all good .

Excellent in every way. We were celebrating 2birthdays and the decorated dessert plates saying happy birthday were a love,y surprise. Enjoyed free kir royale too.

Shame we couldn’t have our free Rhubarb Cocktails, but you ran out of Rhubarb! We were offered Peach Cocktails, but we had to eat from The A La Carte menu! What was that all about? Rather disappointing
