Côte Bristol Clifton Village

We are regular visitors. The management team were as friendly and fantastic as they usually are !! Good food, good service and the lunch time menu is especially good value.

The staff, as always, were efficient and friendly. The food was good although we have experienced better meals in the past. Will return as it can normally be relied on.

Wonderful breakfast which we all enjoyed. Our server was fantastic and we will certainly visit again when in Clifton Village again. Food was hot and plenty of it.

Not good for a discrete conversation as the tables are so small and close together. One particular 2 person table is very very close to the servers. We were shown it but quickly refused it. However we had to sit and it was impossible to ignore our neigbours conversation which was quite a personal conversation, we were not amused. In fact felt embarrased being there. Food was okay and watch out for the 12.5% service charge added to the bill. Felt sure the server was not amused when I paid the exact amount shown on the bill. A service charge is for me to decide and how much to give. However food good quickly served and hot.

The food was amazing, the service outstanding and the overall atmosphere was perfect! We had an awesome and memorable night and will definitely return soon!

Always greeted with a smile. Service second to none. Food good quality and value for money. Highly recommend it as it's a great atmosphere and I feel comfortable there.

Lovely food at a great value, service was excellent. The French onion soup and calamari were excellent starters, with steak and salmon fish cakes for mains which were also great.

We are huge supporters of Cote - we have visited their sites in Eton/Windsor; Covernt Garden; Cardiff and Bristol all in the past six months. Lunch on Monday May 1 was a bust - we experienced a long wait for drinks to be served (had to ask for them when we were halfway through starters). The wine ordered did not meet previous expectations and my main course (Asparagus wrapped in Parma Ham and served with Gruyere Cheese) was hopelessly overcooked; had been left far too long under the warming lamps and the sauce had split. The replacement, freely offered, also suffered from split sauce but by then i was beyond caring. In mitigation the odd wine and the asparagus were knocked off the bill but this was, for Cote, a bad day at the office. Given this is the first failure since our first visit we shall return, no doubt, as the loyalty has been earned - but yesterday's school report was, certainly, C- "Could do better".

The staff are friendly and efficient. The food has never disappointed any of us and would be more than happy to recommend this restaurant. Enjoy.

Staff and food very nice drinks I thought we're a bit expensive overall nice place for a treat could have done with some nice pictures of French scenes to give it a bit more atmosphere

Friendly service, comfortable and clean surroundings, a real buzz around the restaurant and delicious food. Plenty to eat but not a crumb left. Couldn't ask for anything more.

Service was excellent and the food was tasty. Well worth the money paid - although I did take advantage of their Cote Rewards offer of a free bottle of wine 24 hours after joining their rewards programme. Will definitely be visiting again.

Fantastic food and good service! The starters are brilliant, i recommend the french onion soup, calamari and mussels. The mains are also fantastic, esspecially rhe belly pork!

Very disappointed with seating We were given table at back of restaurant watching people using toilets was not the best night we've had The last 30 minutes all tables around us were vacant wish We had stayed home Don't think we will book again

Lovely local brasserie with attentive staff but it is popular and therefore can get very noisy. Varied menu and wine list. Parking nearby can be difficult.

Had a really lovely meal here - brilliant service and food couldn't be faulted! It was a busy Saturday but all the food came out hot and quick (and very tasty). The staff were great and on top of everything.

Consistently high quality service, staff always very welcoming. Love the fact that lunch time and early evenings Côte offer special offers. Looking forward to my next visit .

Just had a meal from the lunch/ early evening menu ( calamari and haddock pie). £10.95 for two courses. Very good value for money with a nice atmosphere.

We have eaten at Cote Bristol many times. It always provides tasty, interesting food served by friendly staff at reasonable prices. That's good enough for me.

Polite staff, good service and very good food! Could not ask for more and would certainly come more often if I lived nearer and parking was easier.
