good food and very good service. Found menu a tad expensive made even more so by high service charge which was included on the bill although said to be optional. If optional why add it to the bill why not ask and then add if agreed.

Brilliant brunch selection, including options for my mother who is gluten and wheat intolerant. Staff were lovely, and couldn't have done more to help. My only problem was that my latte was cold, but that wasn't really an issue.

We had a good experience. I like Cote and feel assured of a good experience whichever town I am in. The apple crumble wasn't as good as mine though.

Good service and excellent food and enjoyable atmosphere. Lower section of restaurant was cold but staff improved this with a heater. Disappointed that there is no complementary bread with starters

It was very busy. The noise levels were such that you had to shout at each other! It's open plan but nothing soft anywhere to absorb the noise. The food was ok a bit bland! Disappointing

Good location and a good choice if you have children as it's open all afternoon on weekends. Food generally good but the desserts were fantastic!

Excellent service in a friendly environment. The main courses were good, and I especially like the veal dish. I found the creme caramel a little heavy, with insufficient caramel.

Visiting this particular branch of Cote Brasserie has to be the best experience one have. The place is superb - the staff are from heaven - oh..... and even the food is wonderful. The service is first class and as I have said on many occasions, why anyone would visit any other restaurant, I cannot imagine! Ernie Bussell.

Good food, friendly staff, easy to book. Food was well prepared. I would like to have more choice of mains, they are rather simple dishes

Excellent service. Consistently good food. Nice atmosphere and good music. Calamari was particularly good today. It's annoying that the minimum number of words required for this review is 25. Why?

Great vibe, service and food! Can highly recommend the duck, creamed spinach and profiteroles. 12.5% service charge added to the bill (optional) and worth every penny! Always busy, so book in advance a must. Jayne (Bristol)

Our server did incredibly well to serve our large group. The food was delivered quickly despite a very full restaurant. Set menu was a great deal and had many options to choose from.

Efficient and pleasant service. Food very good. Certainly, early evening menu is good value foe money. I do find an automatically added service charge somewhat irritating and, in any event, consider 10% would be sufficient.

Very busy for a mid week but nevertheless the staff were all polite, attentive and informed. Food was well cooked. Only criticism is the 12 1/2 % that is now added. Should still be 10 unless customer feels they wish to give more. The wine is a significant part of the bill, and 12 1/2% to open a bottle seems excessive.

Great choice on the menu and all tasted fab apart from the under-done beans. But we complained and got a discount. Highlight was the praline crepe! Really busy so a bit noisy.

One Rib Eye Steak cooked medium rare was too cooked (barely some pink remaining). I wasn't even sure whether it was Rib Eye as the two steaks looked very different and this one was very firm whereas the other looked normal tender red meat. I nevertheless ate it as I was visiting my nephew in UK and didn't want to cause a fuss... Next time, if and when, I will probably elect the one minute steak rather than the Rib Eye. Also, my glass of house red never got served with my steak... This was not a big problem as the sparkling water was great, but it is a shame to eat a steak in a restaurant without a glass of wine! The manager apologised and immediately said it would be on the house, but for me it was too late, so he offered me a dessert instead. This customer minded approach was very professional and appreciated. Otherwise, nice atmosphere and friendly staff... which is better than most restaurants in France!

An enjoyable evening. The food was good although my duck confit was very dry which it shouldn't have been. The reastaurant was very noisy which made it difficult to talk. Maybe it was because of where we were sitting.

Surprisingly good food and inexpensive wines. Attentive, friendly but not intrusive staff. Lively atmosphere of people enjoying themselves. Altogether a great evening, one that will hopefully be repeated in the near future.
